“Dream Girl” is an Indian Hindi film which is a full pack dhamaka of total entertainment and sensible comedy senses of humor which is directed by Raaj Shandilyaa under the big banner “Balaji Motion Pictures” with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The main look blurb of the film was discharged on 3 December 2018. It displayed Ayushmann Khurrana in a sari. On 12 August authority trailer of the film was propelled by Balaji Motion Pictures. The film was discharged dramatically on 13 September 2019.
It is said that “when God gives, a roof breaks” and that has been true about actor Ayushman Khurana. His specialty in a different and powerful role has been a success, and he has already succeeded in most of his films such as “Bareilly Ki Barfi”, “Shubh Mangal Sawdhan “, “Andhadhund” and the recent “Article 15”. In the upcoming “Dream Girl” movie, he plays the role of Karan Singh. He has entertained the audience with the voice of the girl. Other actors have also given their roles a fair deal.
Annu Kapoor has played the role of Karan Singh’s father. He is shown to be highly educated. Yet he is shown as unemployed youth. He has nothing to do. But from a young age, he had a special passion for making a girl’s voice. That is why he played the role of Radha and Sita in Ramlila and Krishnilalla well. His father would have taken some debt for the shop. His father was irritated because Karan was unemployed.
On the other hand, Karan goes to a small call center for a job. The joke is that he gets a job but he can talk to the customer in the voice of the girl.
Taking into account the father’s debt concerns and other financial difficulties, he accepts the job. There he used to talk to a customer by the name of Pooja. The sound of worship was going to make everyone fall in love. But he hides this thing from everyone. But one of his close friends, Smiley (Manjyot Singh), knows this.
His love for his girl’s voice speaks to the policeman Rajpal (Vijay Raj), Kishore Toto (Raj Bhansali) and Mahendra (Abhishek Banerjee), who is deeply in love with him. And one more joke is that Karan’s true love is on maahi. Nusrat Bharuch has played the role of maahi.
Even Karan never told her that he knew how to make a girl’s melody voice. So this is how the movie gets confused and we get to see Karan’s confusion while watching it all. Its Raj Shandilya is very well directed the film.
In particular, the two actors Anu Kapoor and Vijay Raj have entertained the audience very well. He has made a lot of sense in the film due to his excellent role. The heroine has done very few roles in the film but she has made a mark of quality acting. The dialogues in the film are striking. Also, songs by Mit Brothers, “Radhe Radhe” and “Dil Ka Telephone” have become very popular.
The duration of the film has been extended a bit and before the interval, the film looks a bit boring. But after the interval it becomes very exciting to watch the movie.
Let’s talk a
little bit about the director. Raj Shandilya is actually a writer. He is known
as a comedy writer. He has written comedy Hindi program scripts such as “comedy
circus” and “Kapil Sharma show”. In the meantime, he has also
written some Hindi films. Raj Shandilya has also written the recent movie
“Jabariya Jodi”.
Not only
does he show the world that Raj Shandilya is a great writer, but he can also
act as a good director in a film, a beautiful example of which is seen in this
film. While entertaining, he has also tried to convey a social message to the
film’s climax.
Because of social media, man is so engrossed in his own world that he is living a lonely life. He has almost always stopped expressing his problems and feelings. In this case, the important message he spread through this film is that a man should communicate with his family and remove his loneliness.
Another innovative role has been added to Ayushmann’s career. Along with Ayushman Khurana, the film has become more entertaining with the performances of actors like Annu Kapoor, Nusrat Bharucha, Manjyot Singh, and Vijay Raj. His playfulness and sarcasm are two things that make his actions stand out in the film. So the audience is enjoying watching the “Dream Girl” movie.
The movie has no connection with Hema Malini’s old “Dream Girl” movie. Many people have the misconception that this movie is probably a remake of the old “Dream Girl” movie, but it’s not.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl will hit the
screens this Friday. We reveal to you why the National Award-winning actor is
the best decision for the film.
Flashback to Ayushmann Khurrana‘s past. The actor, who made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Vicky Donor, spent years behind mic prior to entering the film industry. After completing his post-graduation in journalism, Ayushmann worked as a radio jockey (RJ) in New Delhi.
The
actor hosted a program called Big Chai – Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann
while with the channel.
Voice
modulation was part of his job. Little did he know then that many years later,
his skill of imitating different characters for radio listeners would find a
place in a Bollywood film (“Dream Girl”). It so happened that he got to do 25
percent of his dialogues in Dream Girl in the voice of a woman, and his career
background turned out to be a cherry on the cake.
Ayushmann
Khurrana has mostly chosen scripts that are unconventional, entertaining and
usually have a message. Right from his first film, Vicky Donor. That is why he
is now the winner of the coveted Best Actor National Award for Sriram
Raghavan’s 2018 film Andhadhun.
Never have we seen an actor who is this comfortable in playing a woman both on-screen and off it. Unless you are living under a rock, you will have seen how comfortable Ayushmann is (or not) in a saree at the promotions of “Dream Girl”, right from the trailer launch in Mumbai.
Ekta
Kapoor, Nushrat Bharucha, and Raaj Shaandilyaa were additionally present
alongside Ayushmann, yet it was this Dream Boy who captured everyone’s
attention.
As
promising as the upcoming film “Dream Girl” looks from the trailer, it seems
that the actor will not only entertain the audience but will also leave an
impression on their minds.
Before
Ayushmann, many male actors in Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan (Lawaris),
Riteish Deshmukh (Apna Sapna Money Money), Saif Ali Khan (Humshakals), Akshay
Kumar (Khiladi), Aamir Khan (Baazi), Shreyas Talpade (Golmaal Returns) and
Kamal Hassan (Chachi 420), have tried cross-dressing for their roles in films
in the past.
Makers
of “Dream Girl” organized a special screening of the film in Mumbai yesterday
(September 11). The screening was gone to by numerous Bollywood big names,
including Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Ayushmann’s brother Aparshakti
Khurana also attended the screening.
Aparshakti adored “Dream Girl” and Ayushmann’s presentation in the film. He took to Instagram to state the same. He wrote, “Conviction is his middle name. I totally loved the film. Congratulations to the entire team. Incidentally, my mother constantly needed a girl, however, she had two dreadful young men. Actually one nasty and one, not so nasty. Anyway, I think Mumma will be really happy to see @ayushmannk bhaiya as pooja. Meet the #DreamGirl tomorrow #13KoTeri @balajimotionpictures @writerraj @ektaravikapoor @ruchikaakapoor @nushratbharucha @oyemanjot.”
“Dream
Girl” is getting rave reviews from all corners. Ayushmann has proved once again
that he has a knack for offbeat scripts with “Dream Girl”. He is playing the
role of a guy who can talk in a girl’s voice in the film. Ayushmann’s character
in “Dream Girl” is called Pooja.
Ayushmann also took to Instagram to share a picture with Tahira. He captioned the picture with a love-filled note. He wrote, “With my #Dreamgirl @tahirakashyap.”
“Dream Girl”, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana ahead of the pack job, is a snicker revolt. Had Dream Girl been an Anurag Kashyap film, the dingy friendship call center hidden away in the back of an electronics shop in a small town would have been lit up with neon lights. The ladies luring men on telephone calls would have been energetic and alluring.
The lonely men craving for attention and more would have been lusting behind women on the other side of the receiver. The narrative would have been complex and intense to the point of being enigmatic. But this is a Raaj Shaandilyaa film a clean, hilarious and unidimensional take on friendship call centers.
Raaj
Shaandilyaa’s “Dream Girl” is an absolute satire with enormous touches of
clever jokes. But it is this very humor that plays the biggest hindrance in the
development of the story. Regardless of an intriguing reason, Dream Girl
neglects to go past the fundamental thought. The 137-minute film appears to be
a long funny production sans a storyline.
This
comedy of blunders begins a promising note however loses its sheen in the
subsequent half. With too many plot twists, a variety of characters squeezed in
and a somber climax, “Dream Girl” fails to live up to its hype.
However, Ayushmann Khurrana and Annu Kapoor make up for it with their brilliant performances; reminiscent of Vicky Donor. Ayushmann by and by demonstrates that he can draw off any job with elan. He plays the character to flawlessness, getting the subtleties right. Annu Kapoor’s splendid comic planning makes “Dream Girl” an engaging watch.
His change from a forlorn and displeased dad to a lovelorn aashiq is an outright virtuoso. Vijay Raaz as an idyllic policewala in a beset0 marriage is great.
With
a runtime of 137 minutes, Raaj Shaandilyaa keeps the film fresh and engaging.
But somewhere in between all the laughter, the subject loses its fizz. The
film’s music is peppy and works well with the script. The music of the film is
composed by Meet Bros while lyrics are by Kumaar and Shabbir Ahmed.
Raaj
Shaandilyaa merits credit for carrying something new to the table. In any case,
his delay to dive further into the subject makes it scoreless on the report
card. If you are looking for a light-hearted comedy this weekend, Ayushmann
Khurrana’s Dream Girl should definitely be on your list.
“Dream
Girl” has the opening day accumulation of ₹10.05 crore, which is the most
astounding first-day gathering for any Khurrana film discharged up until this
point. what’s the more, second-day accumulation of ₹16.42 crore, while the
third-day gathering was ₹18.10 crore, taking its all-out opening end of the
week accumulation to ₹44.57 crores in India. On the fourth day, the film
crossed ₹50 crores and became Khurrana’s fastest film to cross ₹50 crores till
date.
As
of 19 September 2019, with a gross of ₹85.95 crores in India and ₹11.99 crores
overseas, the film has grossed ₹ 97.94 crores worldwide.
Exchange expert and critic Taran Adarsh gave the movie four stars out of five, named it “Champ” and adulated the exhibition of Ayushmann Khurrana, Annu Kapoor and the heading of Raaj Shaandilyaa. He expressed, “All outperformer with spots of amusingness… Decorated with clever lines, heading hits the correct harmony.”
Charu Thakur of India Today gave the film three stars out of five, noticed that “Dream Girl” was an unmitigated satire with clever jokes and jokes, which made it a long funny production sans a storyline. She concurred with Taran in praising the performance of Khurrana and Kapoor.
The
star has delivered four back to back hits, and this year he delivered two big
blockbusters namely ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’. He has single-handedly
delivered Rs 300 crore worldwide box-office this year and has cemented his
place as the face of entertaining content cinema that also does great business.
“Of
course, Ayushmann was the first name that came to my mind when I finished
writing the story of ”Dream Girl”. I think he is one of the entertainers with
the capacity to draw off any character that manages sexual orientation
intricacy, balance or even a voice against poisonous manliness,”
Shaandilya told.

Discovering that you have cancer is a seismic moment in your life and the news will be the catalyst for a number of changes in your life and it will also have an impact on your loved ones.
There are likely to be many questions that you will have about your cancer diagnosis and it is likely that you will be experiencing a degree of emotional turmoil as you digest the prognosis that has been delivered to you.
There is always help for cancer patients available and a support network can make a difference in how you cope, and the support of your loved ones will often be crucial at such a difficult time.
Telling loved ones about your cancer
The specter of cancer hangs over many families but it is no less overwhelming when it is a situation that you find you are going to have to contend with personally.
When you are trying to tell your loved ones about your situation you will almost certainly be met with a mixture of emotions and responses and it would be a good idea to try and prepare yourself for this scenario.
Someone who loves you will probably be very fearful about the prospect of losing you to cancer and not everyone knows how to react when they are told such devastating news about a person who is close to their heart.
We are all different, and some of your loved ones might find it very challenging to talk to you about your cancer, mainly because they are fearful of the prospect of upsetting you.
Others might be more capable of engaging in a frank conversation with you and some friends and relatives might become very guarded in their conversations with you, or go the other way and act too cheerfully as a response mechanism.
A range of emotions
The first point to make is that you will experience a wide range of emotions as you digest details of your diagnosis and come to terms with the treatment options being suggested to you.
Understanding how cancer will affect your emotions and coming to terms with the diagnosis as best you can should make it easier to cope with the different responses you can expect from loved ones.
You can probably expect to feel a degree of anger and resentment that you have had your life impacted in such a bad way and it is also perfectly normal to feel an overwhelming sense of sadness or fear of what lies ahead.
It should also be noted that once you start your cancer treatment there is a good chance that you will experience some physical and emotional changes. Understanding these responses and trying to embrace the situation as positively as possible should prepare you better for being able to talk to others about your cancer.
Preparing yourself for difficult conversations
Putting things into perspective, dealing with a cancer diagnosis is considerably tougher than having to tell people you love about your situation, although it can still be very hard to have that difficult conversation with people you love and care for.
Only you can decide when you are emotionally as ready as possible to tell loved ones that you have cancer.
It may well be that you want to try and come to terms with your cancer diagnosis internally before you are ready to tell others, or you might decide that you feel the need to talk to loved ones as a way of trying to process the information fully.
There is no right or wrong when it comes to how long you take to tell loved ones and you often have to trust your own instincts as to when the time is right.
Who to start with
Your spouse or partner will probably be the first person you talk to about your cancer and you might find it easier to get their support while you find out all the treatment options and what your prognosis is.
Having your partner or spouse with you will provide the love and support you need at such a trying time and it often helps to have someone else who can ask some of the questions you might not have thought of at the time.
If you are able to keep a clear head, it can often help to write down a set of key questions that you want answers to while you think of them, then bring that list with you when you go for a consultation.
There is no question that having to tell your children that you have cancer is probably going to be one of the most emotionally challenging conversations you are ever likely to have.
How you approach the conversation and what level of information you give your children will often depend on their age.
Children under the age of eight will not normally need to be given detailed information, which they may be unable to process fully, and the older they get the more they will need to know about your condition.
It is best to provide basic information at first, such as what type of cancer you have and what part of your body has been affected.
Pick a quiet time and choose a moment when you have your own emotions under as much control as possible.
The general suggestion for telling loved ones and people you know or work with about your cancer is to start with those that are closest to you and widen your circle of who you talk to as time moves on.
If you can, try to tell your loved ones how you are feeling and talk as openly as possible about your treatment options and prognosis. That is easier said than done, but it often helps your loved ones to give you the support you are looking for when they know how you are feeling and what it is you want from them in response to your cancer news.
Also, consider reaching out for support outside of your friends and family network as it can be really helpful to talk to others in the same situation as yourself trying to come to terms with a cancer diagnosis.

Each one of us dreams of coming on TV, whether as a celebrity or an audience. But only a few get this chance, to fulfill their dreams and be on TV. Well, some of the lucky persons to be on the screen are TV News Anchors.
So, to begin with, News Anchors are the people who present news and work at TV networks and stations. We all know these people. We see them every day behind a desk, with a laptop in front and out telling the world what happened in the day or what’s happening around. Whether from a small local station or from a network’s prime-time show, TV news anchors compile news stories and deliver them.
Skills required:
Being a news anchor definitely looks like an easy job, but it isn’t. It takes lots of skills, energy, timings, pro-activeness and a lot more than all of this. There’s a lot of hard work that always been put up to be a news anchor. It’s not always about having a beautiful face, but also how intelligently and actively you present news.
A news anchor should always be in his/her comfort zone in front of the camera. He/she spends a lot of time with the camera, so talking to a camera shouldn’t be a problem at all. It also helps an anchor to connect with the audience at a much higher level. It lets them see how confidently you can speak up compared to other news anchors.
Good voice modulation, knowledge, language command, strong communication versatility, vibrant attitude, spontaneity, calm and composed, timing, pro-active are just a few of the skills to name that is required to be a news anchor.
As said, it’s not an easy job; it comes with lots of responsibility and fame. Everything you say on TV, people start to believe as they trust your source of information. This position comes with long working hours, hard work, constant deadlines, and unpredictable natural and world events. It ranges from political scandals to school shootings to terror attacks.
Anchors need to be unbiased all the time. There should be no self-thoughts of the anchors. They should always be objective and unemotional all the time irrespective the news they are presenting.
Every field needs a particular educational requirement which needs to be fulfilled before going into that profession. TV news anchors must have a bachelor’s degree in the field of journalism or mass media, relevant internships, and work experiences. Because learning this creative field doesn’t come naturally. It requires training, and being in this field; one learns every day. Completing a master’s degree, which is not required for employment, won’t be a bad thing to do. It only helps with additional training in this field. It tends to be more competitive between the candidates with much higher training, experiences, and qualifications for the ones seeking opportunities.
Why being an anchor is the right job you’re looking for?
You like challenges.
Every news anchor faces a challenge every single time while reading/gathering new. To perform better than the last bulletin, to overcome our own fears. Challenge to make sure that the channel ratings don’t come down on what you’re speaking on TV. Being in the Studio room, every day is a challenge.
Thrive Under Pressure
An anchor is always tested the best when he or she is under pressure. How they present themselves on TV at that particular moment when even something wrong happens with their known ones, that’s important. It not only requires you to be focussed upon but also put personal emotions aside in order to communicate well. A news anchor must remain calm at all times. Sometimes, it may also result in on-air technical problems which anchor has to work through.
For example – during elections, if an anchor is not able to receive any data or information due to technical failure, best of anchors would think of something without ever appearing packed.
Willing to work for long hours
Even the shifts have been divided and told every news anchor to do the job, but sometimes working for long hours is very common. If there’s an important news story to cover, an anchor wouldn’t take a risk and would try to find data and information even if it takes two long nights as he or she needs to speak up with confident on TV. Sometimes there are public appearances, photoshoots, and so much more which need to be done.
A news anchor is a part celebrity and part News anchor. He or she doesn’t do a 9 to 5 job. A news anchor always works on getting the network or stations ratings up and up.
So, all those planning to be an anchor, it’s a roller-coaster ride. Are you up for it?
Mantra meditation
is a technique of mental, physical and spiritual healing by repeated chanting
of sounds known as mantras. Unlike other sound therapies that use different
instruments, music, and devices, this meditation uses different types of
mantras having a particular meaning and intonation. But to understand the
technique of mantra chanting meditation, we need to know the definition of a
mantra first.
What are mantras?
Mantra is a sacred Sanskrit word or
phrase which is derived from a combination of two words, man (meaning mind) and tra
(meaning instrument/tool). It is believed that there are 70 billion mantras and
each of them has a different meaning. Mantras can be a single word, phrase or a
sentence with a predefined meaning. The correct intonation of a mantra can
evoke its spiritual energy in the chanter’s body and mind.
Mantras – How they
work spiritually
When we repeatedly chant a mantra for a specific number of times, its vibrations resonate throughout the body and penetrate within all the cells and tissues of the body. In India, different deities are invoked with different mantras which are characteristically designed for them. So it is said when we repeatedly chant a mantra confined to a particular deity, we begin to vibrate within the frequency of that mantra. Mantra meditation works this way. The mantra possesses the energy of its respective deity, and we acquire the energy and qualities of the deity.
The science behind mantras – Mantra Meditation
According to Quantum Physics, every particle in nature has a wave counterpart. In other words, each particle vibrates at a particular frequency. Whether it’s a flower, animal, you or me, we all vibrate at our own frequency. And wherever there is vibration, there is energy. So in simple words, mantras are sound vibrations which have their own energy and frequency. Whenever we chant a mantra, it activates certain points in our body by resonance. Eventually, our body shifts to higher frequencies, in spiritual terms; which mean that we start to vibrate at higher and deeper levels, emanating a more positive frequency.
But to get the highest benefits, you should chant the mantra with its correct intonation and complete awareness. You need to take care of these things while chanting it. Because mantra meditation is not just about uttering a sound – it is a sound with phenomenal consequence.
How to choose your
right mantra
Now, this is one of the trickiest parts where you usually get stuck with – choosing your right mantra. Always remember, every mantra works for you. You can just take any one of it and start chanting. But the problem is whether you are able to like it or not. If you don’t invest a little bit of emotion to it, it will be hard for you to relate with. And that will again lead to distraction.
So let’s see, what are the ways of choosing our perfect mantra:-
Be sure about your intention for doing mantra meditation.
Check if there is any specific mantra coding your particular intention.
If yes, try chanting that mantra for a week or two, to see whether it works for you or not. And if there isn’t any mantra as such, better opt for a universal mantra.
If you feel like your mantra is not working, then change it. This simply means you are not able to imbibe the meaning of that particular mantra. Change to something you can relate to, or are attracted to.
But as I said earlier, every mantra is designed to work for you. It’s all about the intensity with which you can relate to it.
Some mantras to get started with:-
1. Aum
Aum is known as the Pranavamantra, the sacred syllable because it symbolizes Brahman itself i.e the Supreme reality. It eliminates your ego and illumines you with the Divine light. It is a root mantra from which all other mantras have emerged.
2. Ram
The word Ram is always associated with Lord Ram in Hindu culture. But the Ram mantra is a universal mantra, not associated with any deity in particular. It refers to the purest self of the being. It has a similar power as of the Pranava mantra.
Meaning – We meditate on the existence Absolute (Divine Mother), Creator of the three dimensions (physical, mental and spiritual); we contemplate upon your divine light. May you illumine our intellect and bestow upon us true knowledge.
3. Krishna Maha-mantra
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare
This is considered as the maha-mantra (supreme mantra) of Bhakti yoga. It is the repetition of different names of Krishna, Rama, and Hari. All are the same.
4. Aum Namah Shivay
In Hindu scriptures, Lord Shiva is considered as the ultimate destroyer, but He is also considered as the inner self that one retains even after everything ends. It is an important mantra in Shaivism. Chanting this mantra basically means to align with the absolute reality.
5. Buddhist mantra meditation
Om Mani Padme Hum
This is a very important mantra in Buddhism. It translates as: ‘the jewel is in the Lotus’. It is used to invoke compassion and peace within oneself.
6. Peace Mantra meditation
Om Asato Maa Sad-Gamaya Tamaso Maa Jyotir-Gamaya Mrtyor-Maa Amrtam Gamaya Om Shanti Shaantih Shaantihi
This known as Shanti (peace) mantra and translates as ‘Lead me from untruth to truth. Lead me from darkness to the light. Lead me from death to immortality. Om peace, peace, peace!’
Team India have selected wrist spinners Washington Sundar and Rahul Chahar for the three T20Is against South Africa. Since the South African batsmen do not have a good record against Indian wrist spinners, it will be difficult for them to tackle the duo.
According to the India vs South Africa schedule, the three matches will be played in Dharamshala, Chandigarh and Bangalore. While the venue of the first T20I will aid the pacers, the next two are likely to have spinning tracks on show.
Talking about Washington Sundar, he likes to open the bowling attack and bowl off-spin with the new ball. He has a good experience of bowling in the powerplay. The Proteas batsmen will have to negate his opening overs and concede a wicket as he is less effective outside the powerplay. In the recently concluded tour to West Indies, his figures in the powerplay were 4-1-19-2 and outside the powerplay were 4-0-34-1.
He is also a bowler who likes to read the batsman well and bowl variations according to the type of batsman. Therefore, it is quite important to read his hand carefully and understand the type of delivery he is going to bowl. So the mantra against Sundar will be to handle him with care in the powerplay and not go for the big shots early on; and attack him if he comes on to bowl later in the innings.
The other wrist spinner is a leggie who has a nice release from the top. Rahul makes it tougher for the batsmen who like to play off the backfoot. It is not easy to cut him towards point as his ball zips after pitching. The key is to play him either on the front foot or by stepping out. The second option is only good if the batsman possesses good footwork and can get to the pitch of the ball easily. It will be a disaster if the ball pitches away from the batsman after stepping out because he likes to turn the ball by a fair margin.
He has played just 1 T20I for India and did not have a good outing. Although, he impressed in the IPL for Mumbai Indians and India A tour to West Indies. The 20-year-old was brought on by the Mumbai Indians whenever they needed to attack the batsmen and pick up wickets in the middle overs of an innings. He is not accustomed to bowl in the powerplay but can give it a rip even in the flattest of tracks.
Chahar will continuously be coming at the batsman as f he likes to attack. It is on the batsman to calculate the risk and challenge his skills. The ideal plan for a batsman against him will be to stay patient and keep working him on the leg side till he comes out of his strong zone and bowls wide of off.
The duo has replaced Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in India’s T20I setup for a couple of series now and it will be exciting to keep checking live cricket score to keep a track of their performance against South Africa.
