Fox was born in 1986 to parents Gloria and Franklin Thomas Fox. She lived in Tennessee and after her parents divorced when she was three, lived with her mother and stepfather. Her sister did the same. She grew up as a protestant but attended Catholic school for a long time, influencing her beliefs. Fox lived a sheltered childhood, and her parents forbade her from having any boyfriends or inviting friends over to her house.

Her childhood at home was sheltered and peaceful, but the one at her school wasn’t. During interviews with various Late Night and radio shows, Fox confessed to being heavily bullied in school. She said that everyone hated her, as she made guy friends easier than she made girlfriends and people would pelt her with ketchup packets in the canteen. She would sit alone in the canteen away from everyone. Fox even goes so far as to mention that she hated school and that she did not like the education she received.

Fox’s career in acting found its early roots in modelling. By the age of five, she had begun her training in dance and drama. She found herself in the dance and swim team at Tennessee. Even after her family moved to Florida she continued her training in the talents. She went on to participate in the 1999 American Modelling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, Carolina. After her success at the modelling competition; she won several awards at the show, she decided to take up modelling professionally. She continued to live with her mother until she had enough money to move out. At age 17, Fox got out of school and entered schooling via correspondence so that she could move to Los Angeles, California.

Fox’s career never really took off. At least, it didn’t take off in the way it was supposed to. She made her acting debut in the 2001 movie Holiday in The Sun where she played the role of a spoiled heiress. This was followed by guest performances in popular TV sitcoms such as Two and a Half Men and What I Like About You. Fox finally starred in a supporting role opposite Lindsay Lohan in 2004, on the teen chick flick Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Fox went on to star as the female lead in the live-action movie Transformers. She won three MTV Teen Choice Awards for her role in the movie and was all set to star in the next sequels but it did not work out.

Breakthrough and Downfall.

Fox has not had much of an illustrious career till now. Other than her roles in Transformers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fox hasn’t really acted in much to be internationally acclaimed. Other notable roles she played was as a replacement for Zooey Deschanel on TV sitcom New Girl while the other actor was on maternity leave.

She last appeared in Zeroville directed by actor and filmmaker James Franco. Zeroville performed poorly at the box office and Fox seemed to have taken a break from acting. Fox will next star in Think Like a Dog. The movie was originally set to release in theatres but due to Coronavirus, shall be releasing on video on demand.

While he was sceptical about the relationship, Fox was resolute. She said in an interview that she had to convince him that she was more responsible and well-spoken and that she was more than just her age. They got engaged in 2006 and ended it in 2009.

Their break was short-lived and they have engaged again in 2010. They were together for five years and had two children before they decided to mutually separate and filed for divorce in 2015. However, they got back together and then went on to have their third child. It was then in May of 2020 that Green finally announced their separation after ten years of marriage. Fox was subsequently seen going public with Machine Gun Kelly. This was also after she had released a music video with him named, “Bloody Valentine.”

I think we all remember him from Call Me By Your Name, for his wonderful yet heartbreaking performance. The third youngest Academy Award winner in all of history, Timothee Chalamet is not your run-of-the-mill actor. A young prodigy, Timothee Chalamet has acted in Emmy winning shows like Homeland, and Academy Award winners like Interstellar. He, at the young age of 24, already has quite an illustrious career behind him and is just on his way to achieve more.

Timothee Chalamet’s Early Life.

Timothee was born in the December of 1995, son to Nicole Flender, a real estate broker and Marc Chalamet, editor for UNICEF and the New York Times. He has an elder sister, Pauline who is an actress based off of Paris. Timothee holds dual citizenship in France and America and frequents between the two places. He has been doing so since he was a little kid. While speaking of his life as a child, Timothee even admitted that he sees his life in France as a dual life, that he was a different person there. His dream, as a child, was to become a professional soccer player. He even coached younger boys in soccer when he was around fifteen years old.

Timothee had to transfer schools and had an especially miserable time at one Booker T. Washington school, which encouraged a more academically focused education. It was when he went to La Guardia High School of Music and Art that he got a taste for the arts. He attributes his success to his teachers, who taught him to fall in love with theatre.

Career.

Timothee Chalamet’s career has had quite an early start. At the young age of seventeen, he starred in multiple musicals like Cabaret and Sweet Charity. However, Chalamet hasn’t been a stranger to acting. Even as a child, he performed minor roles here and there. During the 2008 to 2016 period, he played in horror short films, Clown and Sweet Tooth. He even starred as a murder victim on the long-standing series Law and Order.

Chalamet went on to have recurring roles in spy-thriller series Homeland and Royal Pains. He, along with his cast went up for the prestigious Screen Actors Guild Award.

Chalamet then had minor roles on the silver screen in the critically acclaimed Men, Women & Children. It was during this time that he acted as young Tom in Academy award winner Interstellar. At this point of time, a lot of Timothee’s success could be partly because of luck and partly because of his stellar acting.

His acting career continued into the Berlin International Festival with the movie One & Two. He reportedly fell into a slump right after starring in Interstellar. He notes that a lot of his movie auditions did not go well and he didn’t get many movies.

The Real Big Break.

Timothee’s breakthrough project came with Call Me By Your Name, where he played the role of a gay teenager, discovering his sexuality through an illicit relationship with a much older man. The movie, spoiler alert, is a tragedy but the acting is brilliant. Timothee Chalamet was charming and touching. The film received positive and negative reviews. The negative reviews were mostly only for the age difference and the tragic portrayal of a homosexual relationship. The movie won an Academy Award for the best scripting, while Chalamet went up for the best actor.

His next striking work was in Ladybird, alongside one other of the newer actor’s bunch, Saorise Ronan. Timothee played Kyle Scheible, a rich hipster in a band. His role was of the love interest of the protagonist, Saorise’s character. The movie featured a widespread release. It was also the directorial debut of the brilliant Great Gerwig. In 2018, Chalamet went to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This foray saw his acting reach new heights. He soon started performing in roles which took immense emotion to act out and did excellent justice to them.

That year, he played Nis, a teenager addicted to meth, who had a strained relationship with his father in the drama Beautiful Boy. The movie saw Timothee receive nominations for Best Supporting Actor at the SAG, Golden Globe and BAFTA award ceremonies.

Thus, the Queen asked to try different varieties of pizzas. The baker Raffaele Esposito of Da Pietro Pizzeria created a special pizza for the Royal Highness. He made a dish with red tomato sauce, white mozzarella cheese and green basil leaves. These were the colours of the Italian flag. The Queen fell in love with the combination and the taste. This is how the famous Margherita Pizza was born. In fact, the pizza was named in the honour of the queen.

Till the late 1800s, the pizza was extremely popular, but only within Naples. It was only when the Italians started migrating to America that the popularity of the dish spread further. Gennaro Lombardi opened the first pizzeria in the US in 1905. He started to sell pizzas in Manhattan. And this is how the story of pizza in the United States begins.

Here is a fun fact. While the location has changed, the pizzeria is operational till date. And they have the same oven that they had back in 1905! By 1930, pizzerias began to pop up in different parts of Boston, New Jersey and Manhattan. 1943 saw the introduction of the Chicago style pizza. How to make your own pizza at home

You would be amazed to realize how easy making a pizza actually is! Of course, preparing the base does take some time. But once you get the hang of it, it is an easy though time-consuming affair. And once you have had your own homemade pizza, there is no going back to a store-bought one ever again!

Ingredients:

  • For the dough:

2 cups all purpose flour

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp instant dry yeast

½ cup warm water

A pinch of salt

3 tbsp olive oil

Extra water, for kneading

  • For toppings

1/8 cup pizza sauce

Vegetables, as per choice, thinly sliced or diced (onions, capsicum, tomatoes, bellpeppers, olives, pickles, etc.)

¼ cup cottage cheese, cubed

½ cup mozzarella cheese

Salt, to taste

Oregano and chilli flakes, to taste

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar and yeast. Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Add in the all-purpose flour, and begin kneading.
  3. Continue adding water as and when required, and knead well. This will take around 10 minutes.
  4. When the dough is nice and stretchy, add in the salt and oil in parts, and knead after every addition, till all the oil is absorbed.
  5. Leave the dough to rest in a warm place till it doubles in size.
  6. Punch the dough to release the air.
  7. Use a rolling pin to shape it and then use your hands to flatten it further. Transfer this on a duster tray.
  8. Use a fork to prick the dough evenly throughout, so that it does not rise while baking.
  9. Generously spread the sauce on top. Add in your vegetables and toppings. Add some grated cheese on the top. Finish it off with some salt.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for around 15 minutes, till nice and golden.
  11. Use a pizza wheel to slice the pizza. Sprinkle chili flakes and oregano to taste.

Serve hot and enjoy!

You can even change the toppings as per your liking. You can add chicken too, if you like that. Pineapple and ham is also another classic combination.

And such is the words we write. When I began writing my first ebook, I hadn’t known the amount of work it would take to properly write it and conclude it. The story in my head had already been visualized, and there were huge chunks of dialogue that had already been finalized.

However, putting these ideas to paper, constructing a coherent storyline for your imagined chunks to fit in place, they are the actual parts that take work. And as an aspiring writer and independent artist, I do know the struggle it is to find proper guidance. So here are some of the things I learnt while publishing my first book.

Create a Draft. And Save Regularly.

The first thing you need to do is type down your ebook. Do not worry about the spelling mistakes or the grammar. Simply type your story down, in a font large and clear enough for you to read as you go along. Google Docs and Microsoft Word Document are the best applications for you to create your draft in. If you do not have internet regularly, use Microsoft Word Document more. Due to it’s easy maneuverability Microsoft Word Document is the go to for writers.

However, if you are forgetful and do not save your documents before shutting down your PC, you should use Google Docs. Google Docs autosaves every minute you add something new, and that way you can ensure you never lose anything. Google Docs also has the option for you to leave comments alongside sentences, to get back to later on. However, regardless of which application you are on, do not forget to save each time you are closing your tab. Losing an improvised piece of work is the most painful feeling.

Remember the golden rule of writing – create three drafts. Your first draft is to make your idea exist. The second is to make your draft functional. And the final draft is to make it effective.

Begin Editing. 

Before you give your work to a professional editor, it is important to edit your work on your own. You could begin by making minor logistical corrections, ensuring the dialogue and plot maintains continuity. You could get rid of exceedingly long sentences, which tend to tire readers. I have observed that Grammarly remains the best platform you could use for quick editing. You could create an account on Grammarly or use a free trial version to edit your ebook offline too. Grammarly offers a downloadable form of the software, and even a Chrome extension. Rest assured, you shall not miss even the minor corrections. Now you can handover the manuscript to your ebook to an official editor, who will help you correct, and format your novel accordingly.

Enter your manuscript into Kindle Create.

Kindle Create is a software that simulates the appearance of an actual ebook, making it easier for writers to get a feel of their finished product. It is free to download on the internet and the setup and installation is a breeze. While Kindle Create does have limited features, it is the best software right now to create an ebook. Kindle Create also converts your final draft into a .kpf format which is the easiest to upload into Kindle Direct Publishing.

Your word document gets integrated into the software easily and you can even change the chapter settings, add a preface, dedication without any problems. You do not really need any training to know how to operate Kindle Create, it is all pretty self-explanatory.

Make an account on Kindle Direct Publishing.

Search for Kindle Direct Publishing on the internet and make an account on it. It is preferable if you link your normal Amazon account to the KDP website. The website will then ask you for your details. Fill them carefully and completely. These details are important for the website to send the royalties to the right place. Fill in your bank details.

Format and Upload your Ebook.

Kindle Direct Publishing requires you to enter the details of your ebook in a separate window. These details include the official title of your ebook, the synopsis that shall show on Amazon when a customer makes a purchase. There are three steps to publishing your book in this process. The first step includes filling details such as the title, author name and genre of the ebook. Proceeding from here, you need to upload your manuscript and your cover page. Do not worry if you do not have a cover page. Kindle Direct Publishing has a built-in feature called Kindle Cover Creator. Kindle Cover Creator helps you properly format the cover of your ebook.

Since I had a cover designed by me for my ebook, I did not need Kindle Cover Creator. But if you are going to publish a paperback, I would suggest you go through with Kindle Cover Creator. Do not forget to preview your ebook before you publish it. Once you have made sure of the headers, footers, the necessary content, go on ahead to pricing your ebook.

Pricing your Ebook.

Ebooks are inexpensive, and that has entirely to do with the fact that there is no printing involved. Paperbacks will charge you a certain amount to print, priced by each book. Ebooks, on the other hand, are free to publish. You have two choices for royalties. In case you do not know what royalties are, editors and publishers take a certain percentage of money to publish your book.

The remaining percentage is your royalty. That is the money that you shall be paid for the book. You may get around 35% to 70% of the royalty depending on the number of pages your book has. Smaller books are priced lesser and have a proportionate royalty.

The first season was premiered on July 27, 2017, which gathered a lot of eyes, followed by a second season on August 31, 2018, and after a year gap, the third season was dropped on Netflix.

Ozark follows the story of a married couple who just moved into a new town, Ozark after an illegal practice. He is now all set to produce even a bigger money laundering to the lakes of Ozark. Soon after shifting their place they realized living here will not be easy as they got messed with the criminals, the Langmore and Snell families, and Kansas City Mafia. The story reflects their struggles to survive and live a luxurious life.

The filming of the series took place around the lake of Ozark. However, Not all the episodes are filmed there. Much of the shooting is done in Georgia and Atlanta.

In the end of season 3, we saw some unlikely alliance of Marty and Wendy Bryde with crime boss Omar Navarro as he declared that this is just the beginning of their bonds for the common goal and there is much to come. The Brydes then work with FBI to take down the rival Lagunas cartel, their act win the trust of Omar.
