How To Beat The Bangalore Traffic and Expenses?

The City of Bangalore

Life Hacks To Handle The Traffic Problem In Bangalore:

The capital of the Indian state of Karnataka, The Silicon Valley of India, The top hub of startups in the country, the city with the highest number of researchers and the list can keep going on. The only city that can match up to the description above is Bangalore, officially known as Bengaluru. Having stated everything above we cannot deny the fact that the traffic menace in Bangalore is out of bounds and control.

The most predictable reasons for the traffic problems in Bangalore can be equated to its huge population of over ten million. To top it all, rapid urbanization, Government level corruption, bad infrastructure, poor city planning, bad coverage provided by the existing metro rail services etc have all contributed to the traffic problems in Bangalore. The condition of the roads in Bangalore is Inadequate, they are broken and narrow, filled with potholes, void of proper lane markings and the condition just gets worse in the monsoons. Another problem that contributes to the traffic is the water tankers and the trucks that are parked arbitrarily and they cause huge traffic jams eventually. Hence it’s important to keep a check on Unauthorised parking. The inefficient metro lines in Bangalore do not provide enough connectivity when compared to the other metropolitan cities. They are poorly maintained and are not up to the mark.

How To Beat The Bangalore Traffic and Expenses?

What can be done in such a situation? will the traffic menace ever go away in Bangalore? Well the most obvious answer would be no, but I believe prevention is better than cure and there are surely ways through which the problem can be effectively reduced if not eradicated.  The most basic measures start from proper traffic signal management and bringing in restrictions on the number of trucks and trailers permitted in the city. This will tremendously reduce not just the traffic problems but will also help resolve the pollution crisis being faced throughout the country. Restrictions on the number of Ola and Uber licenses allowed in a city is another measure that can be taken. Proper driving sense must be enabled in people by regulating and implementing stricter traffic rules and punishing the wrongdoers severely. Metro rails in Bangalore surely need an up-gradation and need to provide greater coverage throughout the city. Having said that no matter how efficient the metro rails get, they only include a small percentage of Bengaluru’s commuters.

The government authorities should work towards constructing One-way traffic roads as much as possible so that the traffic flow is smooth and the jams are reduced. Also owing to the fact that Bangalore is dominated by 70% two-wheelers, hence a separate lane for two-wheelers must be built, so that the traffic speed is not reduced and the number of traffic jams will also reduce. The government authorities should concentrate on constructing more subways rather than the signals as that will help regulate and control the traffic effectively, just as implemented in Ahmedabad. Things are always easier said than done but even if 10% of the people in the city start commuting through eco-friendly means like cycles to nearby destinations, the amount of traffic will eventually reduce. Bike pooling is also another alternative that can be adopted. Switching to public transport when commuting to shorter distance places will also help in a positive way.

The above-stated solutions are only measures and the possible ways to deal with the traffic problem in Bangalore or as a matter of fact in any city, but only when the citizens will own up to basic things like traffic rules and using eco-friendly transport means can we say a change has been inculcated. Until then hoping for a cleaner and traffic-free Bangalore city in the coming future.

Life Hacks To Beat The High-Cost Of Living In Bangalore:

Bangalore is known for its pleasant weather, the happening nightlife, delicious street food, various academic institutions, and whatnot, but Bangalore is also known to be one of the most expensive cities when it comes to India. It is undoubtedly the IT hub of India and hence all the youngsters are mostly concentrated here, Be it a family or an individual staying alone, managing the daily expenses is a herculean task in a city like Bengaluru. The GST taxes have only added to the current expenses. So how does one cut some slack and still lead a decent lifestyle in a city like Bangalore?

Let’s start with the most basic hacks that one can apply. So if you are living alone the best thing you could do would be to stay in an apartment or a PG which is close to your office or workplace, so that you can save money on travelling and it also saves time. Try to focus on just the apartment and the security aspect rather than focusing on lavish parks, pools and sports courts in your society, you can’t anyway spare time for these facilities when you have a 9-5 job. when travelling to short distance places one should try and commute via public transport for a change and also cut down on fuel expenses. If you are going to buy your own car try and buy a small affordable one and preferably a diesel car since petrol is very expensive. You can also go for eco-friendly options like CNG and LPG operated cars. Ola share or Uber pool would also do good when travelling within the city as they are economical.

How To Beat The Bangalore Traffic and Expenses?

Food is surely the most basic necessity and no one can do without it, but you must be smart in your choices. Try not to go to very extravagant and lavish hotels, the taste is what matters. Try to eat good street food on an outing or if you are relaxing back at home just use Swiggy or Zomato as they have so many discounts and offers. The best option would be to cook your own food as much as possible as it cuts down costs and is healthy too. Try to stick to the supermarket stores and the grocery stores that you visit since they help in cutting down the bills. Try to do most of your household chores on your own, since affording a maid in Bangalore for everything is very expensive. Try to do your own utensils, mopping and laundry at least. Try not to party and visit pubs on a regular basis. Twice or thrice in a month is sufficient. Bangalore’s Nightlife is very happening and that has lead to a steep rise in the entry charges of all the decent pubs and discos in Bangalore.  Also try to cut down the electricity costs and save electricity by switching off the lights and fans of your room when not in use, every bit counts. Coming to clothes, I would advise you to shop smart that is to buy clothes that make you feel happy. Not just when you wear them but also when you think of your bills. Affordable fashion is the next big thing according to me. Try not to be brand focused or someone who only shops in malls or Brand outlets. Try street shopping or shopping at stores such as Max, FBB, Reliance trends, and pantaloons. They offer a wide range of variety at affordable prices. In the end, it’s a piece of cloth and it all comes down to how you carry what you wear.

Try to save whether you have just kick-started your career or you have a strong base in the industry. Savings will never go in vain. Try to save as much as possible and invest that money in an FD or SIP’S. Something is always better than nothing. Having said everything above, nothing is as difficult as it seems and if you know the tricks and hacks to an affordable lifestyle in any city, not just Bangalore, it’s only going to get better with time.

According to an article published on HuffingtonPost, a couple of businesses, usually, startups do not pay much heed to data protection. They do not realize that a virus attack on their computer systems would result in serious consequences. These include landing of business money in distrustful hands, customer data theft, customer complaints, complicated lawsuits, losing clients, and loss of revenues. Similarly, many consumers ignore cybersecurity when shopping or paying bills online. If you do so, you too might end up losing all your money if you are not careful.

Most business today including food and beverage, restaurants, utility, finance, and healthcare perform online transactions. You need internet connectivity to shell out money for bills or pay your suppliers when you have a business to manage. Your transactions should be safe and threat-free from internet hackers.

It is imperative that businesses and consumers understand the benefits of cybersecurity and take appropriate steps. It implies protecting all sensitive financial information that you use to make online transactions secure. Here are the top benefits of cybersecurity for your business:

Protects business data

data security concept
Data security

With virus and malware attacks, your business data might be stolen. These include user IDs, passwords, security questions, payment data, and things like that. In such a situation, your company will need to own up to the security breach

There are many instances when a company’s mission-critical information is stolen in one country but the attack originating from another part of the world. In these situations, people noticed that their personal data or mobile number has been changed, while others discovered that their loyalty points were used to book hotels for trips made abroad. Things can get more serious like seeing your bank account balance depleting unexpectedly when you have made no payments at all. That is why you need some cybersecurity solution to protect your personal, financial, and customer data. You need to deploy robust cybersecurity applications on a priority basis.

Protects the reputation of your business

In numerous instances, there are public websites, where security violation is hard to conceal. It means not able to hide your customer names, details of prospective buyers, and even business partners. There are hackers out there, who will have the ability to bring your whole business website down, injecting all web pages with malicious links and viruses. Now, this affects your reputation as a business owner. Consumers too should work with companies that have cybersecurity measures in place. For instance, websites like NationaldebtRelief, dealing with debts and customer data.

Your customers may not trust you anymore if they feel that their information is not safe with you. At least, they believe that. It is imperative to overcome the reputational harm caused due to a cyberattack, but it is difficult. You need to implement a set of powerful cyber security solutions to protect your brand repute and credibility. Take inspiration from Facebook, the company offering rewards and perquisites to application developers spotting bugs, viruses, and security threats on this social media platform.

Secures your bank money

A powerful, aggressive internet attack will have a significant effect on your company’s funds, especially the money kept in the bank. You will feel the brunt of the attack soon, while the major impact would be felt after some time. Your finances will dry out. That is the reason why you should have a robust software application to protect your banking transactions from unscrupulous hackers waiting to steal your funds.

To overcome the aftermath of cyberattacks, you need to shell out money to make things right. If you have a skilled IT department, then you are fortunate to cope with the situation.

However, small businesses may have a big IT team and therefore, need to outsource that proves heavy on the company’s budget. There are various costs involved like examining the threat, looking for a feasible solution, and ensuring that the same breach does not occur again in the days to come. You need to spend thousands of dollars to test an internet security application and then deploy the same.

Also read Ethical hacking career: a career guideline for hackers

That is the reason why companies with financial prudence make the most of the situation to perform a broader analysis of their website security. It will help you to reduce the cost of outsourcing if you do a meticulous review of your website before it is developed.

Whether it is actual money or virtual currency like in loyalty points, you will need to take the onus to refund the virtual money to your customers. In a couple of instances,it is mandatory and a legal necessity. Moreover, it is the right thing to do if you believe in business ethics. Whatever is the case, cyber attacks will cost you heavily.

However, the long-term effect of a security breach is not easy to ascertain. Your existing customers may leave you, and prospective ones may not trust because of the negative impression caused due to the cyber attack. Therefore, deploy cybersecurity measures to protect your bank money from falling into the hands of online hackers.

Conclusion

Choose cybersecurity solutions that protect your bank money, secure customer data, and help you do online business transactions without the risk of any threats. It is imperative that you implement the best security features throughout your business and across all departments. Take some time out of your busy schedule to research on cybersecurity solutions to keep your website safe from hackers.

Understanding Your Lover •••

Young couple
Young couple

Lover is a word highly exquisite and aesthetic in itself. But there exist no single specific meaning of the word. A person who loves someone or who is loved by someone is generally regarded as a lover. However, the word ‘lover’ is not as simple as it sounds. There exist umpteen layers that engulf the depths of the word called ‘lover’.

Lovers with champagne looking away
Pretty lovers man and woman

There exist different kinds of lovers. Some lovers are sweet & sensible, whereas some are violent & insane. There exist numerous other species and subspecies too. But here I’m going to talk about a grey, albeit, common yet a lesser understood species of lovers. The discussion won’t bore you I can bet unless you hate reading or thinking, for I cannot do anything in that case. (Winks intended)

A Lesser – Understood but Commonly – Found Species of Lovers

Young lovers holding hands and talking to each other
Young Lovers Holding Hands, talking to each other at cafe

Well, I have known people who love beyond all extremities. For them, their life rotates only round their lover; their mind, body and soul, all long only for their lover; their lover is the full stop of their life; all their ambitions collapse when it comes to their beloved. Such people only love to love and be loved by their lover. Such kind of lovers fall under a highly commonly – found cum lesser – understood type of species of lovers.

Also Read Memories from love we ended

Such kind of lovers know no beyonds. They even show highly obsessive and irritating behaviour at times. Their behaviour includes doubting their lover unnecessarily (where they oftentimes know it’s completely pointless); wanting to be all – time  close to their lover (which certainly isn’t possible every time); fighting unnecessarily over trivial issues; overreacting over useless points. They many – a – times become as angry as hell; their moods change faster than zephyrs. In one moment, they are wholly drenched in ardour for their lover; in the next moment, they are found sunbaked in the sauce of aggression. Many people can relate to this, I know. (Keep my sympathies.)

But as there exist two faces of every coin, the same is the case here as well. When such lovers love (free of the burden of their mind), there can’t be any comparison of a lover more passionate than them. Their love knows no bounds and limits. Such lovers are highly unique than the usual kind of lovers. They love forgetting everything, like there’s only one motto of their life, i.e., to love their lover wholeheartedly.

In addition, such lovers can go to any extent for their lover. Any bloody extent, I highlight (in an attempt to give a clearer picture)! That’s why they are often termed as ‘psycho’ or ‘insane’. But the question arises that are they psycho or insane in real. We generally judge people without ever trying to step into their shoes.

Here, I want to ask that do one ever tries to find out the root behind such lovers’ extreme possessiveness and insanity? Do one ever tries to do a psychoanalysis of such lovers’ moods and behaviours? Do one ever really tries to understand such lovers’ mentality behind their thoughts and actions? Rarely does anyone! Well, no human does anything merely out of interest. There lie some solid reasons that affect everyone’s mind and making. The same is the case with such kind of lovers.

We should always think the other way round as well. One should ponder over the thought that there oftentimes exist some obscurities veiled under the garb of madness and irrationality that blur our thinking towards others. To talk about such psycho cum short – tempered cum excessively possessive lovers, it can be said that it might be possible that they stayed all their life starving for love and affection. It might be possible that they never in their life even for a single moment experienced true love, and maybe that’s why after getting it they become highly possessive and crazy too (sometimes). Those who get something after the bitterest of turmoils generally value it far strongly and seriously than the ones who get it quite easily. So, one should never judge anyone without knowing the inner upheavals that torment his/her mind.

Apart from this, because of such lovers’ moodiness, obsessiveness, possessiveness and childish behaviour, they are often (on a broad level) believed to be untameable and dangerous. Although it is true in most of the cases, the fact is generally only partially understood. Such lovers are untameable and dangerous sometimes (or even oftentimes) only because they love their lover with whole their heart and soul. They cannot see anybody doing any harm to their lover; they fear losing their lover; that’s why they show some uncommon type of possessiveness. Never mind! Well, although such lovers are believed to be dangerous, I can bet that nobody can ever love like them. Nobody means nobody! For them, love is their life and breath; without their lover, they hardly can imagine living a single moment. Their lover is the beginning, middle and end of their life.

So, I hope from next time onwards (after reading this lil piece on “lover”), you’ll try to understand your lover’s thoughts and actions from an updated cum cool – headed perspective. Hope you have a lovely love life! Good luck ☺

“Dream Girl” – Review and Ayushmaan’s Excellent Acting

dream girl

“Dream Girl” is an Indian Hindi film which is a full pack dhamaka of total entertainment and sensible comedy senses of humor which is directed by Raaj Shandilyaa under the big banner “Balaji Motion Pictures” with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The main look blurb of the film was discharged on 3 December 2018. It displayed Ayushmann Khurrana in a sari. On 12 August authority trailer of the film was propelled by Balaji Motion Pictures. The film was discharged dramatically on 13 September 2019.

"Dream Girl" - Review and Ayushmaan’s Excellent Acting

It is said that “when God gives, a roof breaks” and that has been true about actor Ayushman Khurana. His specialty in a different and powerful role has been a success, and he has already succeeded in most of his films such as “Bareilly Ki Barfi”, “Shubh Mangal Sawdhan “, “Andhadhund” and the recent “Article 15”. In the upcoming “Dream Girl” movie, he plays the role of Karan Singh. He has entertained the audience with the voice of the girl. Other actors have also given their roles a fair deal.

Annu Kapoor has played the role of Karan Singh’s father. He is shown to be highly educated. Yet he is shown as unemployed youth. He has nothing to do. But from a young age, he had a special passion for making a girl’s voice. That is why he played the role of Radha and Sita in Ramlila and Krishnilalla well. His father would have taken some debt for the shop. His father was irritated because Karan was unemployed.

On the other hand, Karan goes to a small call center for a job. The joke is that he gets a job but he can talk to the customer in the voice of the girl.

Taking into account the father’s debt concerns and other financial difficulties, he accepts the job. There he used to talk to a customer by the name of Pooja. The sound of worship was going to make everyone fall in love. But he hides this thing from everyone. But one of his close friends, Smiley (Manjyot Singh), knows this.

His love for his girl’s voice speaks to the policeman Rajpal (Vijay Raj), Kishore Toto (Raj Bhansali) and Mahendra (Abhishek Banerjee), who is deeply in love with him. And one more joke is that Karan’s true love is on maahi. Nusrat Bharuch has played the role of maahi.

Even Karan never told her that he knew how to make a girl’s melody voice. So this is how the movie gets confused and we get to see Karan’s confusion while watching it all. Its Raj Shandilya is very well directed the film.

In particular, the two actors Anu Kapoor and Vijay Raj have entertained the audience very well. He has made a lot of sense in the film due to his excellent role. The heroine has done very few roles in the film but she has made a mark of quality acting. The dialogues in the film are striking. Also, songs by Mit Brothers, “Radhe Radhe” and “Dil Ka Telephone” have become very popular.

The duration of the film has been extended a bit and before the interval, the film looks a bit boring. But after the interval it becomes very exciting to watch the movie.

Let’s talk a little bit about the director. Raj Shandilya is actually a writer. He is known as a comedy writer. He has written comedy Hindi program scripts such as “comedy circus” and “Kapil Sharma show”. In the meantime, he has also written some Hindi films. Raj Shandilya has also written the recent movie “Jabariya Jodi”.

Not only does he show the world that Raj Shandilya is a great writer, but he can also act as a good director in a film, a beautiful example of which is seen in this film. While entertaining, he has also tried to convey a social message to the film’s climax.

Because of social media, man is so engrossed in his own world that he is living a lonely life. He has almost always stopped expressing his problems and feelings. In this case, the important message he spread through this film is that a man should communicate with his family and remove his loneliness.

Another innovative role has been added to Ayushmann’s career. Along with Ayushman Khurana, the film has become more entertaining with the performances of actors like Annu Kapoor, Nusrat Bharucha, Manjyot Singh, and Vijay Raj. His playfulness and sarcasm are two things that make his actions stand out in the film. So the audience is enjoying watching the “Dream Girl” movie.

The movie has no connection with Hema Malini’s old “Dream Girl” movie. Many people have the misconception that this movie is probably a remake of the old “Dream Girl” movie, but it’s not.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl will hit the screens this Friday. We reveal to you why the National Award-winning actor is the best decision for the film.

Flashback to Ayushmann Khurrana‘s past. The actor, who made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Vicky Donor, spent years behind mic prior to entering the film industry. After completing his post-graduation in journalism, Ayushmann worked as a radio jockey (RJ) in New Delhi.

The actor hosted a program called Big Chai – Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann while with the channel.

Voice modulation was part of his job. Little did he know then that many years later, his skill of imitating different characters for radio listeners would find a place in a Bollywood film (“Dream Girl”). It so happened that he got to do 25 percent of his dialogues in Dream Girl in the voice of a woman, and his career background turned out to be a cherry on the cake.

Ayushmann Khurrana has mostly chosen scripts that are unconventional, entertaining and usually have a message. Right from his first film, Vicky Donor. That is why he is now the winner of the coveted Best Actor National Award for Sriram Raghavan’s 2018 film Andhadhun.

Never have we seen an actor who is this comfortable in playing a woman both on-screen and off it. Unless you are living under a rock, you will have seen how comfortable Ayushmann is (or not) in a saree at the promotions of “Dream Girl”, right from the trailer launch in Mumbai.

Ekta Kapoor, Nushrat Bharucha, and Raaj Shaandilyaa were additionally present alongside Ayushmann, yet it was this Dream Boy who captured everyone’s attention.

As promising as the upcoming film “Dream Girl” looks from the trailer, it seems that the actor will not only entertain the audience but will also leave an impression on their minds.

Before Ayushmann, many male actors in Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan (Lawaris), Riteish Deshmukh (Apna Sapna Money Money), Saif Ali Khan (Humshakals), Akshay Kumar (Khiladi), Aamir Khan (Baazi), Shreyas Talpade (Golmaal Returns) and Kamal Hassan (Chachi 420), have tried cross-dressing for their roles in films in the past.

Makers of “Dream Girl” organized a special screening of the film in Mumbai yesterday (September 11). The screening was gone to by numerous Bollywood big names, including Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Ayushmann’s brother Aparshakti Khurana also attended the screening.

Aparshakti adored “Dream Girl” and Ayushmann’s presentation in the film. He took to Instagram to state the same. He wrote, “Conviction is his middle name. I totally loved the film. Congratulations to the entire team. Incidentally, my mother constantly needed a girl, however, she had two dreadful young men. Actually one nasty and one, not so nasty. Anyway, I think Mumma will be really happy to see @ayushmannk bhaiya as pooja. Meet the #DreamGirl tomorrow #13KoTeri @balajimotionpictures @writerraj @ektaravikapoor @ruchikaakapoor @nushratbharucha @oyemanjot.”

“Dream Girl” is getting rave reviews from all corners. Ayushmann has proved once again that he has a knack for offbeat scripts with “Dream Girl”. He is playing the role of a guy who can talk in a girl’s voice in the film. Ayushmann’s character in “Dream Girl” is called Pooja.

Ayushmann also took to Instagram to share a picture with Tahira. He captioned the picture with a love-filled note. He wrote, “With my #Dreamgirl @tahirakashyap.”

"Dream Girl" - Review and Ayushmaan’s Excellent Acting

“Dream Girl”, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana ahead of the pack job, is a snicker revolt. Had Dream Girl been an Anurag Kashyap film, the dingy friendship call center hidden away in the back of an electronics shop in a small town would have been lit up with neon lights. The ladies luring men on telephone calls would have been energetic and alluring.

The lonely men craving for attention and more would have been lusting behind women on the other side of the receiver. The narrative would have been complex and intense to the point of being enigmatic. But this is a Raaj Shaandilyaa film a clean, hilarious and unidimensional take on friendship call centers.

Raaj Shaandilyaa’s “Dream Girl” is an absolute satire with enormous touches of clever jokes. But it is this very humor that plays the biggest hindrance in the development of the story. Regardless of an intriguing reason, Dream Girl neglects to go past the fundamental thought. The 137-minute film appears to be a long funny production sans a storyline.

This comedy of blunders begins a promising note however loses its sheen in the subsequent half. With too many plot twists, a variety of characters squeezed in and a somber climax, “Dream Girl” fails to live up to its hype.

However, Ayushmann Khurrana and Annu Kapoor make up for it with their brilliant performances; reminiscent of Vicky Donor. Ayushmann by and by demonstrates that he can draw off any job with elan. He plays the character to flawlessness, getting the subtleties right. Annu Kapoor’s splendid comic planning makes “Dream Girl” an engaging watch.

His change from a forlorn and displeased dad to a lovelorn aashiq is an outright virtuoso. Vijay Raaz as an idyllic policewala in a beset0 marriage is great.

With a runtime of 137 minutes, Raaj Shaandilyaa keeps the film fresh and engaging. But somewhere in between all the laughter, the subject loses its fizz. The film’s music is peppy and works well with the script. The music of the film is composed by Meet Bros while lyrics are by Kumaar and Shabbir Ahmed.

Raaj Shaandilyaa merits credit for carrying something new to the table. In any case, his delay to dive further into the subject makes it scoreless on the report card. If you are looking for a light-hearted comedy this weekend, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl should definitely be on your list.

“Dream Girl” has the opening day accumulation of ₹10.05 crore, which is the most astounding first-day gathering for any Khurrana film discharged up until this point. what’s the more, second-day accumulation of ₹16.42 crore, while the third-day gathering was ₹18.10 crore, taking its all-out opening end of the week accumulation to ₹44.57 crores in India. On the fourth day, the film crossed ₹50 crores and became Khurrana’s fastest film to cross ₹50 crores till date.

As of 19 September 2019, with a gross of ₹85.95 crores in India and ₹11.99 crores overseas, the film has grossed ₹ 97.94 crores worldwide.

Exchange expert and critic Taran Adarsh gave the movie four stars out of five, named it “Champ” and adulated the exhibition of Ayushmann Khurrana, Annu Kapoor and the heading of Raaj Shaandilyaa. He expressed, “All outperformer with spots of amusingness… Decorated with clever lines, heading hits the correct harmony.”

Charu Thakur of India Today gave the film three stars out of five, noticed that “Dream Girl” was an unmitigated satire with clever jokes and jokes, which made it a long funny production sans a storyline. She concurred with Taran in praising the performance of Khurrana and Kapoor.

The star has delivered four back to back hits, and this year he delivered two big blockbusters namely ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’. He has single-handedly delivered Rs 300 crore worldwide box-office this year and has cemented his place as the face of entertaining content cinema that also does great business.

“Of course, Ayushmann was the first name that came to my mind when I finished writing the story of ”Dream Girl”. I think he is one of the entertainers with the capacity to draw off any character that manages sexual orientation intricacy, balance or even a voice against poisonous manliness,” Shaandilya told.

How to Talk to Your Loved Ones About Cancer Being a Part of Your Life

0
cancer

Discovering that you have cancer is a seismic moment in your life and the news will be the catalyst for a number of changes in your life and it will also have an impact on your loved ones.

There are likely to be many questions that you will have about your cancer diagnosis and it is likely that you will be experiencing a degree of emotional turmoil as you digest the prognosis that has been delivered to you.

There is always help for cancer patients available and a support network can make a difference in how you cope, and the support of your loved ones will often be crucial at such a difficult time.

Telling loved ones about your cancer

The specter of cancer hangs over many families but it is no less overwhelming when it is a situation that you find you are going to have to contend with personally.

When you are trying to tell your loved ones about your situation you will almost certainly be met with a mixture of emotions and responses and it would be a good idea to try and prepare yourself for this scenario.

Someone who loves you will probably be very fearful about the prospect of losing you to cancer and not everyone knows how to react when they are told such devastating news about a person who is close to their heart.

We are all different, and some of your loved ones might find it very challenging to talk to you about your cancer, mainly because they are fearful of the prospect of upsetting you.

Others might be more capable of engaging in a frank conversation with you and some friends and relatives might become very guarded in their conversations with you, or go the other way and act too cheerfully as a response mechanism.

A range of emotions

The first point to make is that you will experience a wide range of emotions as you digest details of your diagnosis and come to terms with the treatment options being suggested to you.

Understanding how cancer will affect your emotions and coming to terms with the diagnosis as best you can should make it easier to cope with the different responses you can expect from loved ones.

You can probably expect to feel a degree of anger and resentment that you have had your life impacted in such a bad way and it is also perfectly normal to feel an overwhelming sense of sadness or fear of what lies ahead.

It should also be noted that once you start your cancer treatment there is a good chance that you will experience some physical and emotional changes. Understanding these responses and trying to embrace the situation as positively as possible should prepare you better for being able to talk to others about your cancer.

Preparing yourself for difficult conversations

Putting things into perspective, dealing with a cancer diagnosis is considerably tougher than having to tell people you love about your situation, although it can still be very hard to have that difficult conversation with people you love and care for.

Only you can decide when you are emotionally as ready as possible to tell loved ones that you have cancer.

It may well be that you want to try and come to terms with your cancer diagnosis internally before you are ready to tell others, or you might decide that you feel the need to talk to loved ones as a way of trying to process the information fully.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to how long you take to tell loved ones and you often have to trust your own instincts as to when the time is right.

Who to start with

Your spouse or partner will probably be the first person you talk to about your cancer and you might find it easier to get their support while you find out all the treatment options and what your prognosis is.

Having your partner or spouse with you will provide the love and support you need at such a trying time and it often helps to have someone else who can ask some of the questions you might not have thought of at the time.

If you are able to keep a clear head, it can often help to write down a set of key questions that you want answers to while you think of them, then bring that list with you when you go for a consultation.

If you have children

How to Talk to Your Loved Ones About Cancer Being a Part of Your Life

There is no question that having to tell your children that you have cancer is probably going to be one of the most emotionally challenging conversations you are ever likely to have.

How you approach the conversation and what level of information you give your children will often depend on their age.

Children under the age of eight will not normally need to be given detailed information, which they may be unable to process fully, and the older they get the more they will need to know about your condition.

It is best to provide basic information at first, such as what type of cancer you have and what part of your body has been affected.

Pick a quiet time and choose a moment when you have your own emotions under as much control as possible.

The general suggestion for telling loved ones and people you know or work with about your cancer is to start with those that are closest to you and widen your circle of who you talk to as time moves on.

If you can, try to tell your loved ones how you are feeling and talk as openly as possible about your treatment options and prognosis. That is easier said than done, but it often helps your loved ones to give you the support you are looking for when they know how you are feeling and what it is you want from them in response to your cancer news.

Also, consider reaching out for support outside of your friends and family network as it can be really helpful to talk to others in the same situation as yourself trying to come to terms with a cancer diagnosis.

Most travelers start their journey by resting here. The process of climbing the pilgrims for the visit of the mother goes on throughout the night. It is from Katra that one gets a free ‘travel slip’ for the mother’s visit. Only after taking this slip can you start the climb from Katra to the court of Maa Vaishno.

Three hours after taking this slip, you have to enter the ‘Baan Ganga’ checkpoint before climbing and you can start the climb only after checking the luggage there.
