Foldable Smart Phones

Mobile technologies in recent have advanced extravagantly in all quarters like display, processor, battery backup, camera and security applications. These recent advancements in mobile technologies have not only increased the competition amongst top cellular companies but also has lured and confused the buyers into purchasing the best brand available in the market.

Foldable Smart Phones:

This recent technology which has been developed has taken everyone by amusement. Some people have even described it as one of the pioneer technology achievement in cellular technology. Although this technology was assumed to be off the books for some illogical reasons which were found to be impossible to create such technology, mobile companies have finally cracked the nut in changing this technology dream become a reality.

These foldable smartphones are just the doppelgangers of the smartphones which we use, with some out of the box features. The out of the box features of these foldable smartphones can be recognized by their large display literally of the size of a table phone, but the cliché here is that these phone can be folded, hence the name foldable smartphones. The other features such as the audio jack, camera, and the power buttons as placed in the areas similar to those of a regular phone.
Many people have been a victim of the false news that Samsung is the first company to release the first foldable smartphone, but in reality, an unknown company called the Royole Corporation released the first working prototype of this foldable smartphone named Royole Flexpai. Since the working prototype of this company failed to impress many and looked uglier, the phone released by Samsung called the Infinity Flex Display which had better features than the former impressed many and became famous everywhere.

What was the need for a Foldable Smart Phone?

Many interesting upgrades have been happening in the cellular industry sector, for example, the in-display fingerprint scanner, pop-up cameras, fast charging setups, wireless charging setups, notch displays, and the list keeps growing on. But there was a need for an exciting upgrade in the area pertaining to the display of the phones. With the era of applications in phones increasing day by day, there needed to be a subjective change in the display to expand the workspace of the phone to accommodate enough applications required by the user in single screen rather than shuffling across multiple screens.

That’s where the idea of foldable smartphones sprang as this upgrade would attract the buyers because of its structural as well as functional characteristics. So this upgrade in the cellular sector was considered to be a fruitful deal as it provided a flexible smartphone which eases out the work of the user as well as bringing valuable rewards to the company.

How does a Foldable Smart Phone work?

If the working of a foldable smartphone can be described simply in a sentence it can be explained in this way; it works like a tablet when its not folded i.e. when it is open, and it works like a phone which easily fits your pocket when it is folded, i.e., when it is closed. This conversion of phone to tablet can be done quickly by the means of a foldable smartphone.

It was customized by a bigger battery, because of the more prominent display it houses which upheld the need of a bigger battery else the phone would fail. The phone’s design was similar to a flip cover which we use for a regular smartphone; some companies have even gone for a more ergonomic design to attract a number of buyers. The display of the phone is divided into two sectors which when the phone is opened can be worked on easily. Other features such as the camera and the functional buttons where placed accordingly.

Advantages of a Foldable Smart Phone:

Flexible Form Factor

Based on the design considerations from the manufacturer, a foldable smartphone can be folded thrice or twice. It can even be folded left to right or top to bottom depending on the design opted by the company. It offers a lot of mobility to the buyer as the phone which can be folded into small parts can be kept in your pocket when not in use, and used as a tablet when in use. If offers a lot of convenient options to the buyer, as he can store it where ever he wants depending on the options available to him. That’s a pretty flexible deal right?

Bigger Work Space

Most of the users or consumers moved from a phone to a laptop mainly due to one reason. And the reason is they need a bigger workspace to work on. It essentially means that the display should be more prominent, as the user can lay his eyes upon various other windows or areas where he can focus. That’s like he can work on multiple sectors in a single window.

Imagine a phone which is able to provide you a bigger display similar to your laptop or tablet. We can picture the foldable smartphone here, right? That’s another advantage of using a foldable smartphone. But we cannot tell that the whole problem can be sorted out with this advantage, but the problem can be covered or solved up to a bigger extent.

Like for an example, the display of a foldable smartphone is big enough to house one part of the document which can be used for the purpose of editing or typing and on the other part the keyboard or the tool box can be opened or placed. Similarly, a photo editing application can be opened on one part of the screen, and the other part can accommodate the tools or the colouring kits. This calls for an ease in the work as the work space is big enough for carrying out most of the applications related work.

Extra Space for Hardware

Bigger the phone is, more comfortable it will be for adding an extra enhancement or salient features as the phone’s structural design can house many parts along with it. So, this calls for more room for hardware. It may even include more processor capabilities and even added internal or external storage. This salient feature actually helps both the manufacturer as well as the user.

The manufacturer can use this facility to create room for bigger batteries as it essentially powers up the whole phone to run for a longer time without any hurdles. It can even be used to create shelter for an even higher processor for faster working attributes. A cooling attribute can be even added as these phones which have larger displays tend to heat up most of the time.

The user can house in special attributes such as the usage of pen for simplifying his work even more, as in larger displays the usage of a pen can be done significantly. External storage of a larger memory can be used by the user to keep all his legitimate work at a single place. That’s a pretty solid characteristic for both the manufacturer and the buyer.

Disadvantages of a Foldable Smart Phone:

A Heavier SmartPhone

Because of the larger display size of the foldable smartphones, it calls in for a bigger battery as well as heavy storage capacities. It also needs an additional hardware which is capable enough to run the smart phone in a smooth manner. The consequences of adding such features to the smart phone will make it more heavy and bulky in structural composition. This will also make the smart phone thick enough which literally makes it look bigger than your wallet and adds on more weight on your pockets.

If making the smart phone thin and providing small bezels to the display undo the prone of heavy weight, then it adds another problem in the manufacturing sector, i.e., it requires an upgrade in the manufacturing process which will add up increasing the total cost of the smart phone and you might even consider buying a laptop rather than this smart phone at that time.

Vulnerable to Defects

Though companies come forward in bringing an ergonomic and feasible design to this smartphone, it comes with an increasing price every time they come up with a solution in the area for designing. The increasing price is due to the complexity factor of the overall design, design of a particular component and may be even due to the electronics involved in it.

Because of such factors, what happens is that the buyer will be under the impression that he might receive a defective piece rather than a fully functional piece. This sentence holds good and is true, as so much of complexity is involved in making a foldable smartphone and even a small error or defect may deplete the whole functional ability of the smartphone. So it is more vulnerable to defects as it is still a new discovery and quality tests are being conducted every time to solve a defect.

Sky Rocketing Prices

This disadvantage can be directly related to the second disadvantage. More complex are the characteristics of a phone; more the price will go for its manufacturing right? This is because the manufacturer will make sure his product remains the prominent in market, so certain added enhancements will be installed while the product is in production which leads to heavy prices on the product.

As this technology is newer manufacturers will try to put in more effort to build a better folding smart phone, due to which certain complications do arise. One such example would be that these foldable smart phones cannot house the normal AMOLED displays which the normal smart phones house nowadays. These phones require hi-tech LED displays which actually evolve the whole process of viewing as it gives shelter to a larger display. This leads to heavy pricing of such folding smart phones atleast in the early years of its production and marketing. As years pass by, newer generation technology will be available to tackle such complications.

Conclusion:

Though the new technology of foldable smartphones is grabbing the eyeballs of every consumer, it can be seen that if offers plenty of advantages along with some added disadvantages. It is really immature enough to talk about the disadvantages at such an earlier stage where the technology has just evolved, and in the coming days, solutions are sure for the complications offered. But it is essential to highlight the disadvantages as the area of concern can be shifted easily and also the overall damages can be concealed and the right way to deal it also can be addressed properly.

Paris – The City of Dreams, Love and Romance

0

Paris, is known to be one of the most beautiful cities in the whole world. It is believed to be ‘the city of dreams’, ‘the city of love’ and ‘the city of romance‘. Located in the northern part of France, Paris is the historic, political and economic capital of France with a population of around 2.5 million. What makes it the dream city for many thoroughout the world is the fact that it is home to many historical monuments such as Notre Dame, the Eiffel tower (320m), Bastille, Louvre and many more. Much of the city was re-designed by Haussmann in the 19th century. The city with a population of around 2.5 billion people is divided into 20 “arrondissements” (districts) which are numbered 1 to 20. The river Seine divides the city into the Rive Gauche on the south and the Rive Droite on the north banks of the river. As history says, the historical name for the city is Parisii by the Gauls, however, the Romans arrived in 52 B.C. and changed the name to Lutetia.

It is not surprising that the city is the most visited tourist destination in the world, with over 45 million visitors annually. It is one of the most popular ‘honeymoon destinations’ as well. It is very easy to arrive in Paris with huge expectations of: grand vistas, budding writers in every cafe, romance on the Seine and rude waiters.

The Best Food Options for Your Dog

Best Food Options for Your Dog

It is really outlandish to know that most of the dog-owners are barely aware of how their pet’s health is! If asked, they will always answer confidently, as to them their pet is always in the ‘pink of health’. Notwithstanding, even any short-term examinations every so often expose that a heap of our ‘four-legged friends’ aren’t actually keeping that well.

The most common signs of ill-health are now so widely spread that they get often over-looked, by assuming that it is nothing but just the natural feature of any dog, similar to wagging their tail or smelling other dogs bum!

Altogether, these problems do outbreak hugely on our four-legged friends.  Nevertheless, if they have never given a second thought and these early signs are over-looked, then it can turn worse.

Health and diet – go hand-in-hand

Food is considered to be the essential factor in their proper health. Over our dog’s diet, he can fix all the necessary nutrients that are needed to build-up their tissues and maintain their cellular process running strong. But too much or too little of some of these nutrients can cause stomach upset or even worse.

From preventing in the correct manner through the old age, it is the diet more than any other factor that will determine the quality and span and health of our dog’s life. But the tough-to-believe fact is that nowadays most complete food are failing our dog’s health.

Most of us are aware of what our dogs prefer eating – juicy bones and luscious meat. It is as well known to us that they enjoy binging on fruits, veggies, herbs and so along. Agreeing to the Nutritionists, it is a ‘healthy and natural’ diet.

And, we also are aware of those food items that can cause a health issue. Excessive salt, sugar or fat and artificial additives are also harmful to our dogs, as they are from us!

In malice of all these facts, if we get a sneak-peek at almost any well-known dog food brand, we can find a chock-o-block ingredients list, comprising of unhealthy ones and with no similarity to the ‘healthy and natural diet’.

Pets & Profits?

The big question is that why would any good company prepare sub-standard dog food. And, the answer is, simply, for money! Making profit out of dog food, notwithstanding their health, is the first concern of these companies. Instead of using good ingredients like meat and whole fruit and vegetables, they rely upon using the cheapest ingredients and fillers. Knowing the very fact that these ingredients are neither useful nor tasty to the dogs, they continue with manufacturing cheap protein supplements, vitamins, and mineral mixes, in order to make up for the lack of nutrients and sugars, salts and fats to as a substitute for the lack of taste. To make it appealing to us owners, artificial colors are used (it is certainly not for the dogs as they are color blind) and chemical preservatives are added on to cater for its long shelf-life.

The end effect is the ‘fast selling’ factor of the product and to restrain the dogs alive!

Wheat, for instance, is the most commonly used filler in the cheap quality dog foods. But, it is a long known fact that dogs have a relatively high rate of Gluten intolerance. It is also known to the manufacturers that a lot of dog owners do not like ‘wheat’ written on the labels. And then instead they write ‘cereals’, ‘grains’ or even ‘derivatives of vegetable origin’.

Dogs require a sufficient amount of protein and that comes from meat. But plant sources, like maize protein, pea protein and soya stand out, to be a lot cheaper. Regrettably, they are much tougher to digest and causes dietary intolerance. But this never stops the manufacturers from producing these products while using plant proteins in place of real meat.

The widespread use of artificial additives in low-grade pet foods is the worst. Some of us might not be aware that the wide-spread usage of common colorings causes behavioral issues and several artificial preservatives have been named as the potential root cause of Cancer.

Basically, with every mouthful of food, our dog is consuming more and more amount of Toxins and thus the health issues take place. But sadly enough, they are not the end of the story. Many Nutritionists believe that these signs are just the initial ones, and as the months pass by, the flow of Toxins increases, while troubling their bodies with chronic health problems, Diabetes, and even Cancer.

Nutrition – both problem and the remedy

But every problem has a solution. Cure is always there. Getting our dog’s diet right, by shifting to better quality food, is always recommended. We can then give our four-legged friend a new lease of life.

Feeding ‘better’ dog does not necessarily have to break the bank either. By giving less fillers and nutrients per gram, we actually have to feed them less of good food than of a low-grade one. Sometimes, as much as half!

Whole vs. Balancing

Whole Dog food

In recent times, whole Dog food is by far the most popular amongst us, dog owners. They are now available in many forms, including dry, wet and raw. Food must contain all the nutrients in sufficient amount, in order to be legally labelled as ‘whole’. It thus keeps the dog healthy, meaning that it should not be harmful to feed it alone and for an extended time.

In the European Pet Food Industry Federation (FEDIAF), we can find out the nutritional guidelines for complete pet food. In meet FIEDIAF’s nutrient levels, the majority of complete foods incorporate a broad range of added Vitamins and Minerals.

Balancing Dog food

Balancing dog food is generally in the wet or raw form. They do not contain the whole range or the correct amount of nutrition, which are required to keep our dog fully fit and healthy. Hence, other than ‘whole’ food, home-cooked food or dog-biscuits, ‘balancing’ food have to be fed.

Start for the right option!

For years, well-known pet food manufacturers have been the perfectionist in the art of curbing the cost of making their products. As a consequence, our four-legged friends are on the brink of paying the toll. Only then, with a simple switch-over to the better and nutritive food, we can readjust the balance while proving our dogs with exactly what they need to develop well as nature meant.

Simple Ways for Everyday Motivation

Everyday Motivation

Each and every one has those days when, they are just not getting the feel of it. One is usually mentally and physically drained and the last thing they want to do is crawl out of bed and get a hold of the day.

Unfortunately, one is are not so lucky to stay-in-bed the whole day. When this really happens, it is time to use these certain simple techniques to help overcome that emotional stumbling block.

In the recent year’s competitive work environs, one’s greatest unexploited means may be their own motivation. But what happens when they cannot find their motivation or cannot stay motivated long enough to finish a project or even keep up with daily tasks? Hence, one needs to find out their motivation but how, or in what manner?

One can find it within, as all motivation is nothing else but ‘self-motivated’.  ‘Self-motivation’ in its greenest form, is the force that drives them to do things.

‘Self-motivation’ is far-off from being an unassuming subject matter. There are a lot of books, webpages and articles that try to clarify self-motivation and a number of top scholars have dedicated their life’s work in trying to comprehend, model and improve the motivation theory.

Self-motivation’ is an important life skill and to some degree, that one and all are interested in personal development, which they think judiciously about. It is likewise an important part of getting emotionally motivated. It is one of the three extents of personal skills that are basic to the concept.

What drives one to stay motivated is as an individual as who they are, so one needs to tailor the motivational factors that resonates with them. The more one knows and cultivates oneself, the more effective their efforts will be.

Here are certain guileless strategies one can try out:

Reviewing goals

Life just gets in the way and confuses one from completing goals or tasks. To stay on the right track, reviewing one’s goal after waking-up in the morning and start working on it, while putting a plan in place to achieve that one goal, should be one’s agenda. Being successful excellently aids in setting powerful goals, they are as follows:

  • Assessing and replicating what is going on in one’s life at present.
  • Describing one’s dream and goals.
  • Making one’s goal ‘S.M.A.R.T.’ (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-sensitive).
  • Framing oneself answerable.

Move on, be strong and happy

Simple Ways for Everyday Motivation

Think of all of those times that one is deferred. And a majority portion of those times was when one was not in the finest of moods. Therefore, deferment is a mood-management modus operandi, even if (similar to eating or doing drugs) a short-sighted individual. But then one is most susceptible to it when they think it will actually help. Far and away the most deferment befell amongst the bad-mood students, who supposed that their mood could not be altered and had entree to pleasurable interruptions.

To fight deferment, so that one can stay creative and keep on moving forward, by showing gratefulness, surrounding oneself with positive people, celebrating small wins, being charitable, doing things that one enjoys, and even just forcing themselves to smile. One can put on some loud music and clean the house for a few minutes, or clean out the desk and the surrounding. This system can generally get one motivated to get into their important work and to stop deferring.

Others motivate too

Everyday Motivation

When one really needs an extra motivational push, they can always turn to the words or art from others. With music, one can start by creating a playlist of the most liked songs, which both excites and inspires them. After all, the music changes mood and lift-up the spirits. For instance, it’s kind of really motivating, if someone turns on the music and hits the gym, early in the morning.

There are books, movies, and videos that can assist one, besides music, in moving forward through inspiration and guidance. And, not to forget the thousands of motivational quotes from up-and-coming or appreciated individuals that can instantly change one’s mindset by making one more optimistic.

Fun factor

One has those everyday tasks or chores that are mind-numbing, ordinary, and grey. Who really likes cleaning the dishes or writing blogs after blogs? One can have some fun with these uneventful tasks, otherwise. As music is mentioned as a motivational factor, one can always do their household chores, while listening to the same. Or sing and dance when they are cleaning their office or home. Challenging oneself to write a 500-word blog in under 30 minute time.

Concise the to-do list

Lengthy lists are obstructions thus preventing one from achieving success. As an alternative of going headlong, these lists hold them back. Concise the to-do-lists in at least half accordingly, that one can emphasis on the most finalising items first.

Partner in crime

For example, the perfect reason to not go to the gym regularly, can be the sudden absence of the gym partner. And, thus it results in losing interest, very soon. So, having someone else by one side is one of the motivators, as this person will be the biggest cheerleader and motivate whenever they feel like ‘throwing in the towel’.

Take a break

It’s understood that life is chaotic. Between work and one’s family, they are constantly on-the-ride. This turns out to be a problem after a while as they get exhausted and drained out.

Although one believes that they do not have the time to take a break, the least they can do is take a day or two to unwind! It recharges the batteries while giving a new outlook on everything that’s going on in their life.
