It’s not every day that you see a super-powered individual capable of ripping the town open, roam around in a commoner’s guise. This holds true even for the beautifully rendered worlds of Anime. Since it is basic human nature to express disbelief, it is fairly easy to dismiss a scrawny kid talking a big game. Animes usually have their splendid and ridiculously lived in unbelievable worlds. But this should not be the judge of the Anime’s general suspension of a character as weak, based on the way they look.

Most post-modern Anime titles have their fair share of underestimated Main characters. Ranging from the way they look, how they are built, to concluding their powers judging by a past battle, this can happen in so many ways. Usually, given enough time, every Anime turns this around. The Main Character may go through rigorous character development or glow ups that they end up being the hero they are supposed to be. So, here is a list of 6 over-the-top powerful Anime Main Characters who were underestimated by the world they live in.

Kamijou Toma

Academy City is a beautiful city-state drawing considerable inspiration from the eye candy that is the Tokyo Cityscape. Sprawling with students from all over the world, the city is the perfect destination for everyone living in the ‘A certain magical/scientific’ world. The only restriction? You have got to have esper powers.People of the said universe is capable of emitting super powers. These are called esper powers. This may range from simple telekinesis to much more complicated powers like space warping and matter manipulation.

Espers of the said world are usually graded by their ability levels and goes from a basically powerless Level 0 to a massively destructive Level 5. Though superhuman individuals with Level 5 abilities exist in Academy city, Kamijou Toma is your everyday Level 0. Now, A certain series isn’t really an Anime title that displays hard work and perseverance or Mind over Matter. Toma is simply underestimated for him being a Level 0 and that will exactly be the downfall of his opponents.

Blessed with the broken ability that is ‘Imagine Breaker’, this teen is capable of negating any esper or magical power upon contact with his right arm. This put him in a lot of tight spots. But Kamijou Toma is so easily overlooked and underestimated that he had actually beat multiple Level 5s on multiple occasions. Saitama

Saitama is the epitome of underestimated main characters. Having gained planetary level powers by just doing situps and push-ups, this bald-headed superhuman is a hero just for fun. The One Punch Man universe has quite the array of superpowered beings. From the ever-upgrading Genos to the subtle hero WatchDogMan, Saitama is sure in a league of his own.

Saitama is so powerful he can finish off any enemy in just one single hit. Hence the name, One Punch Man. Despite being the most powerful hero in the series so far, the world is yet to know the actual raw power this hero has. This is partially due to the fact that Saitama fluked his hero test which ended up with him being a B-class hero. To add up on that fact, the hero King, who is apparently just a fake that salvages Saitama’s spoils, steals so much credit that everyone believes King is the most powerful hero.

Saitama has been getting some attention in the series. It is still unclear if the hero will work his way up to be the most recognized hero in the OPM universe.

Kuroko

Basketball is a game of pure skill, extreme athleticism and total hard work. One look at Kuroko and you’ll come to the same conclusion that everyone else draws from him; too weak. And that is exactly what Kuroko wants you to think. Being the phantom sixth member of the team that produced the best five basketballers in the anime, Kuroko’s playstyle blends perfectly well with his physique.

Kuroko is the main protagonist of the sports anime Kuroko no Basket. It is due to his weak appearance that he can hide in plain sight. He would seem so worn-out and harmless that everyone simply ignores him or doesn’t detect his presence at all. This allows Kuroko to do quick steals and passes that changes the entire game without the opponents knowing what’s going on for the most part.

Mob Psycho

Kageyama is a force to reckon with. Clearly, not aesthetically. His weak appearance, as well as his slow and laid back personality, makes him seem totally harmless. Psychics rule the world of Mob Psycho. Most with their own special abilities and skillsets. To an ordinary person, Kageyama would seem like a normal teenager doing normal everyday tasks.

Apparently, there is a very big power lying dormant inside Kageyama that allows him to manifest extreme Psychic powers. Everyone who disregards Kageyama as a weak brat would get themselves in serious trouble once Mob (Kageyama) flips. He is an all-powerful entity capable of wiping out everything and everyone in his way.

Mob Psycho Season 3 is expected to drop in 2021.

Goku/Vegeta or every fighter in the DBU

The Dragon Ball Universe is weird. It has quite the amount of cosmic entities hell-bent on destroying the Saiyans; the shows central race. Imagine being an extremely strong individual capable of destroying planets and be overlooked by puny humans. Apparently, no one is as strong as Mr.Satan. Mr.Satan, simply put, is a free-loader feeding off of Saiyan glory.

Every character in the Dragon Ball Universe is quite strong when compared to Mr.Satan. Having trained all their lives, they all pack quite the punch. Even Mr.Satan’s own daughter Videl is much strongest than the alleged world’s strongest man. All in all, DBU paints a brilliant picture of how masses can be brainwashed into believing something absurdly ridiculous.

Hinata Shoyo

A 172 cm tall middle blocker is probably one of the strangest as well as rarest of all volleyball trivia. For starters, the middle blocker is supposed to be tall as they are required to shut the opponent out and keep the ball in play as well as jump high and spike the ball across the net. Now, for someone as short as 172 cm, this will seem quite impossible. But that is where Hinata Shoyo from Haikyuu!! sweeps his opponents off-balance.

Hinata Shoyo goes quite very far in terms of stamina and speed. Devoid of any good technique or game sense, this speed and stamina would seem pretty useless in volleyball. But, the key point is, Hinata can jump, really high. And that makes a world of difference. Mousse: Everything you need to know

A mousse is a soft and slushy side-dish with a light and airy or a thick and fluffy texture which depends on its preparation method and can be served in desserts. It first originated in France in the early 18th century and the first variation that became popular was one with chocolates. The main ingredients are whipped egg whites or whipped cream, chocolate, or any fruit puree. Though in this blog, I have brought up the egg-less variant which doesn’t make any compromise with its taste, texture, and feel. This recipe is perfect for around 6 servings. Mousses are typically chilled in the refrigerator before serving, which gives them that condensed texture.

At the moment, Let’s just dive into the recipe!

Oreo flavored chocolate mousse garnishes with pomegranate seeds.

Ingredients-

Oreo biscuits- 10 pieces

Butter- 1Tsp

Whipping cream- ½ cup

Dark chocolate- ¼ cup

Method-

In a mixer grinder jar, take 10 pieces of chocolate oreo biscuits along with the chocolate cream. The cream will enhance the richness of the mousse to the next level. Grind these biscuits to a fine powder, you can also use the pulse mode of the blender for about 2 minutes.

Now, add this fine oreo crumble out in a fresh bowl, and divide it into two parts.

From this prepared crumble, take out about 12 teaspoons in another bowl and keep the remaining aside. We will use this as the endmost layer while assembling our mousse.

In this, pour the melted butter all over it and give a good mix. You can use salted or unsalted butter for this whichever is available with you on time. Though it won’t make any difference in the taste. Soon, you will notice that the mixture will pile up quite well.

Now, take 6 mousse cups ( basically regular small-sized glasses used for serving custard or pudding ) and fill around 2 teaspoons of this butter-mixed crumble in each of them. Press the oreo crumbs slightly to even it bit at the top-surface. Our first-layer of the mousse is ready, you can also keep these glasses in the fridge till you prepare the oreo-flavored whipped cream.

Take ½ cup of chilled whipped cream in a bowl and beat it with an electric beater till you notice stiff peaks. When you flip the bowl upside down the cream remains immobile, this is the indication that the cream has been beaten perfectly and is all done. This will take around 8-10 minutes. One tip to get that perfect whipped cream is the cream must be very cold along with the beater and the bowl used for whipping. If you’re doing this in summers then I would recommend placing the bowl over another bigger bowl with some ice-cubes inside it. This will make sure that the temperature is maintained when the cream is beaten. The whipping creams are already sweetened, so I eliminated adding sugar in the recipe. If you like more sweet, then you can adjust the sweetness by adding sugar while whipping the whipped cream. Do add powdered sugar not the crystal one.

Now add the remaining oreo crumble to this whipped cream and mix everything well with the help of a spatula.

The next step is to fill this mixture in the piping bag. No need to worry if you do not have it, you can use a spoon or regular plastic bag to fill.

The piping bag is ready, let’s fill up the glasses with the mousse. Fill the mousse throughout the glass leaving ¼ space at the top. Keep in the refrigerator for around 15 minutes or until the mousse fixes a bit.

Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate glaze which will act like ‘cherry on the cake’ for our mousse. This will accompany with the oreo flavor by giving it a chocolaty hint. Take ¼ cup dark chocolate in a bowl and melt it by placing it in a double boiler. Keep on stirring the chocolate until it melts smoothly. You can also microwave it for around 10-15 secs. And your glaze is ready. It is that simple!

Take out the mousse filled glasses from the refrigerator. After the glaze cools down, pour the melted chocolate generously all over the mousse. Add approximately 2 tsp in each of them. Again you need to refrigerate it for around 5 minutes.

Our mousse is almost done. Garnish it with some crumbles of Oreo cookie at the top.

India has efficiently begun to manufacture these PPE kits due to the widespread Coronavirus pandemic.

Challenges faced for manufacturing

Currently, China is the world leader in both the manufacture and export of PPE kits. India imported lakhs of PPE kits from China but the kits received were faulty and of low quality. The US and the Asia Pacific have a combined market share of 61 percent. The US has 33 percent and Asia Pacific Region has a 28 percent share of PPE kits. On the other hand, Europe has a share of 22 percent.

So, how did it happen for India? With a nation with having a population of 1.3 million, it was very difficult to depend on the imports. Dr. Sanjiv Relhan, the Chairman of Preventive Wear Manufacturer Association of India stressed upon the one significant fact. There were 100+ firms in India making the gowns, bodysuits, and other gears like masks, gloves to fight coronavirus. But the problem came into highlight when no one was making the sealed bodysuits. Such bodysuits use tape and worn by the doctors to protect themselves from this harmful virus while treating the patients. The issue of shortage of unique tape sealing machines was also creating havoc. There was a lack of standardization in this and cheap kits from China was creating more dilemma.

Implementation of a powerful solution

The government came into action in early January 2020. Under the leadership of Smriti Irani, the Textile Ministry team has been taking many crucial steps. It is ensuring that only certified players are eligible to make the kits. These players include Nair Matrix Clothing, Arvind Ltd, Rich Global Exports Pvt Ltd, and so on. These firms across the entire supply chain are successfully supplying PPE kits to the government. Within a month, 14 manufacturers cleared the technical testing and the number of manufacturers grew to 52 in next month. This continued to grow further. Some manufactures are now using ultrasonic sealing waves. This helps in sealing the edges of the bodysuits just like using an iron to stick the stickers on the t-shirts.

Moreover, India has started to use the alternative of Nitrile power-filled gloves by replacing them with lactic gloves. This is because lactic gloves are less costly. The fabric of the bodysuit used is non-woven which helps to optimize the costs. But the variety of lightweight woven fabric is also used by many manufacturers. These PPE kits ensure to cover the overall body of the frontline workers with the provision of a zip-up facility. Also, the Textile Committee is sincerely doing the work of establishing laboratories for the testing of textiles and textile machinery. They provide the tests for inspection and examination considering the factor for the quality of textile products and textile machinery.

Growth in productions of PPE kits

When compared to March 30, India produced 8,000 PPE every day. Stating the recent scenario of May 18, India produced 4.5 lakh PPEs per day. Arvind manufacturer produces 15,000 PPE kits per day and serves through their plants situated in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Ranchi. Their executive director, “Kulin Lalabhai” also applauded the government of India that works with the textile industry from scratch. For Shahi Exports, only 5 of its 58 plants are into service for manufacturing these kits. Out of 1.2 lakhs, only 750 employees are deployed on the plants. The company now successfully makes 20,000 bodysuits per day. It has supplied over 9 lakhs kits to “Hindustan Lifecare Limited (HLL)” in Kerala, the Central government’s agency in charge of medical procurement.

There is immense growth in this arena which is highly commendable. In just 60 days, there was a 56-fold growth. It is estimated to be 7,000 crore industry in the future. India has so far an inventory of 15.96 lakh PPE kits. Another 2.22 crore kits are in the process of manufacturing for future requirements. The interesting fact here is that more than 600 companies in India are now certified to produce PPEs. The global market worth is certainly to be $92.5 billion by 2025.

Future scope and improvements in PPE kits

There is a high demand for PPE kits for frontline workers due to increasing cases of Coronavirus in India. Thereby, these are banned to give in export too. In a recent webinar, the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has emphasized for the lifting of the ban on export. This is possible once the local manufacturers can meet the Indian demand well.

Also, the government is boosting this business on another level by helping the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The World Bank and the Asian Development Bank are providing trade finance programs to MSMEs. Also, they have decided to tie-up with technological companies. It will set up the analytics to maintain optimum stock levels, limit wastage, and avoid stock-outs of the kits. Some Government institutes like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) are finding innovative methods for testing the kit’s materials. With these practices into place, it will improve the quantitative and qualitative requirements of PPE kits. This good news will spread positivity within the frontline warriors. They are able to gain more confidence in their work and are giving their best to combat this pandemic.

Before talking about the tips and tricks that you should follow to get the awaited outcome, I would like to mark a point that whichever recipe you choose whether eggless or with eggs, it must be from a trustworthy source which is a tested one as there are countless recipes on the web that are not tested and at last the product you get is not at all satisfactory up to your expectations or as illustrated in the video or the book.

1. Prepare the cake tin appropriately

The first step before baking a cake is to make the cake tin ready by lining a parchment paper as It works well without any failure when you de-mold your cake from the tin. Brush the lined paper with some refined oil or butter and then sprinkle some plain flour or cocoa powder all over the surface and your cake tin is ready. In case, you don’t have the parchment paper no need to worry, you just need to oil the bottom of the cake tin thoroughly and sprinkle a little bit of plain flour all over and remove the excess by tapping the tin upside down.

2. Preheat the oven

To make your cake rise well and cook properly from within, you just can’t ignore or skip this step. Yes, this is the most important step before putting the cake batter into your oven (conventional is mostly preferred for baking purposes) is to preheat to 180℃ for about 10 mins. If you put the cake tin directly into the oven then it will not get that required temperature and will not be processed in a well-risen cake. Furthermore, stick to the overall cooking time as it differs for different temperature settings and also the size of the cake tin.

3. Be precise with measurements as given

This is a widely done mistake that fails your baking experience. Whenever you prepare the cake mix, give special attention to the measurement of every ingredient in the recipe you’re following. 1.5 cups of flour mean 1.5 cups only not 2 cups, use the teaspoon and tablespoon measurements wisely. It may seem to be a small thing but it does make a quite difference in the texture of the baked cake. One more point to consider here is that you must sieve all the dry ingredients first and gradually mix them into the wet one. This will avoid lumps in the batter while mixing.

4. Check the temperature of the ingredients before blending

Take care of the fact that all the ingredients whether you’re using eggs, curd, or milk must be at room temperature as this is very essential to take care of yet ignored. You will find out the difference yourself while beating eggs that are straight from the fridge will not get foamy and light as expected.

5. Try to make the batter airy and light

The more the batter is lighter, the fluffier and squishier your cake will come out. Don’t mix the mixture vigorously as it may knock the air out rather try to mix the cake batter gently and incorporate more air into it. Cream the egg whites and sugar or butter and sugar until its texture becomes lighter and frother.

6. Don’t over-mix the batter

Whenever you’re preparing any kind of cake batter whether for cupcakes or muffins you must take care that you should not over-mix as well as under-mix the batter. This has become the customary mistake that everyone does while mixing dry and wet ingredients. The right technique that you should follow is the ‘ cut and fold ’ method as this allows the cake mix to incorporate more and more air bubbles and that’s the key secret to get that soft and moist cake. In this method, you just need to cut the mix from center and fold the rest along the other side in one direction only. Make sure to do this for not less than 5 mins or until there are no lumps remaining.

7. Size of the cake tin

For 1 cup to 1.5 cups of plain flour the preferred size of cake tin is 7 inches, this will ensure that the batter takes ¾ of the cake tin which is the correct depth required. If a size smaller than this is used then the cake batter may come out of the tin while baking or it will take a longer time to bake than usual. Moreover, the top layer of the cake may have some cracks and will not be even as the cake will not get enough surface area to rise.

8. Place the cake batter directly into oven after mixing

The raising agents like baking soda or baking powder will start its reaction as soon as it comes in contact with the wet ingredients so put the mixture straight away into the preheated oven and this needs to be quick to ensure that the cake rises well. Wait patiently for the cake to bake because if you open and close the oven door in between the cooking time then the cake may collapse as cold air comes in contact and at last you will not get the expected outcome.

9. The trick of ‘Bounce-Back‘

The indication of a perfectly baked cake is that when you tap on the top-most surface of your block you’ll notice it bounces back to its original shape. Another method to check is to insert a tooth-pick carefully at the center of it if it comes clean which means your cake is perfectly cooked from all within. Moreover, the baked block will leave its side from the tin. In these ways, you can confirm that your cake is baked happily. You must stick to your cooking times also. If you left your cake inside the oven for even more 5 mins than it’s actual timing, then in no time it will become a bit hard and desiccated.

10. Cool the cake properly before demolding

It is essential to cool the cake after taking it out of the oven in a wire rack by covering it with a slightly damp cotton cloth for some time. Scrape the edges of the tin with a knife to loosen it a bit, do try this trick as it will not allow the top surface of the cake to dry out and keep it moist, also after proper cooling when you will de-mold it, your cake will come out easily. Otherwise, if you try to take it out while it is still hot it may break from the sides.

I have discussed nearly all the tips and tricks which I follow whenever I bake a cake, I can reassure you that if you follow all of these without skipping any of the instructions then, you will get that perfectly baked cake. There won’t be any complaints that the cake remains uncooked from the middle, it is not as soft and mushy as expected or it didn’t rise well. You don’t need to remember these, it’s just that repeat all of them with the recipe you accompany for at least 2 or 3 times, then it will sure shot become a habit every time you bake.

Kasol consists of various treks across the village that takes from 2 to 10 hours to reach the peak for different treks with a beautiful river flowing through the whole place that makes the place hard to ignore. Along with the trek, the place also resides one of the most popular Gurudwaras in the country, Gurudwara Shri Manikaran Sahib, that offers hot water bath to cleanse our body in the holy water. Alongside, also exists some famous temples like Jamlu Devta Temple, Naina Bhagvati Mandir etc. Kasol is definitely a place on the checklist with a lot to explore within a tiny location. Planning an unforgettable trip

Planning any trip gives you anxiety because of the need to plan a perfect schedule to have an unforgettable tour. We tend to build a certain expectations from a trip while planning itself. How often does it happen that we have thoughts about everything we are going to see or do with friends. We start procrastinating months before the trip, shopping for clothes, list of places to visit, transportation, mode of travel, the to-do list! Isn’t it?

Well, but planning can be a bit confusing without a proper research, especially being new place. Here’s everything you need to know when planning a trip to kasol.

Try to book a direct bus –

The place lies in a very closed space, somewhere between the mountains (It wasn’t meant as a temptation, but glad it worked). Being isolated, just like Wakanda there are very few possibilities to reach there, well all of them are buses. Yes, there are no direct trains or flights to Kasol, as of now. So you may opt for any other mode of transportation to get as close as you can to the hamlet. Your ultimate option has to be a bus to reach the location. So book a bus that travels directly to Kasol to avoid carrying around the luggage and ease up the travelling.

Avoid Personal Cars if Possible –

As I mentioned earlier, the place lies between the mountains, so the crooks of the road are just like life. Sometimes it’s too “steepy” and sometimes too narrow. Once you’re stuck in the traffic, it might take hours to get past as the roads have just one lane. Personally, if you’ve good driving experience for quite a few years and have driven at hill stations before, only then the cars are preferable as it comes down to impossible driving at night.

Do not book a morning bus –

The gates of Kasol are more like the gates of Heaven, they only open up when the time is right. Well, there aren’t any literal gates? But the entry to Kasol opens up at 6am and the visitors are permitted to enter up until 9am. After which the buses are not allowed inside Kasol. So, you’d have to walk or hire a taxi from Bhuntar, around 2 hours from Kasol, in case you’re late. Avoid booking a morning or an afternoon bus, basically, try reaching before 9am. Booking a bus at 5pm or after it can help.

Check the Weather Conditions –

Here’s a point worth mentioning for ANY trip you’re planning. Always check the weather conditions for the next few days of stay. Is it raining? Is it sunny? What’s the temperature? Check everything! Re-check the expected temperature and rainfall for the duration of stay and plan the accessories accordingly.

Make sure your Health is 100% –

Another most important aspect of a trip is to make sure you’re feeling okay, well, obviously? But being a hill station, it requires you to be more than just your 100%. Be sure you’re mentally and physically fit for the adventure. As we know the fact that you need to climb, walk, run and descend through a lot of inclined roads. Do make sure you can do it and you’re up for it.

Be Ready to lose communication –

We are not unaware of the fact that how bad our phone network gets when travelling. Nonetheless, you have to be ready to have really bad signals throughout the trip no matter where you go. It is very rare to find a signal for your phone across the valley. Make sure to contact whoever you need to whenever you get a signal. However, it is impossible to connect with someone after you’ve started the trek, so inform the ones who are needed to be informed beforehand.

Things you need to carry

Suitcases start getting filled a month prior to the trip, Right? Can we just agree to the fact that we cannot decide our “good” clothes and throw everything inside our backpack. Our luggage consists of everything we’re confident about that we’ll be needing them. 3 of the most important factors that will help us decide what we need are Health, Safety and Photographs, the last one is the most important, however (Just kidding). You’re free to carry whatever you wish to as long as you can carry it.

Some of the most important things you NEED to carry are :

Handy Backpack –

You need to have a handy backpack with you for the trek as you cannot carry heavy luggage, the handy backpack will help you store the essentials for above.

Sweaters & Jackets –

The weather throughout the year follows as cold, colder, coldest. A chilled breeze is always flowing through the valley. Sweaters and Jackets become almost necessary after June.

Medicines –

It is very important to carry a medicine box along with you for basic medication such as for cold, cough, vomiting and acidity and also prescribed medicine (if any). We never know what can go wrong, so, better safe than sorry, right?

Trekking Shoes –

Trekking shoes are very important part of the adventure, and “very” can’t be stretched enough. You need to have a pair of trekking shoes along with you on the trip. Normal sport shoes will not be enough for the trek. If at all the shoes get spoiled in the middle of the trek, there is no alternative. You can’t go back, you can’t buy/borrow shoes in between, you can’t go forward and you certainly can’t walk barefoot. So remember to bring a good pair of shoes in which you trust.

Torch Light –

Torch light is also one of the most important accessories to be carried as it becomes very risky to even walk at night and pro tip: the flashlight on your phone won’t do much good.

Sunglasses –

Well, it never hurts to carry a pair of Sunglasses, does it? Protects from the sunrays and add a charm to the face for the photographs.

Energy Drinks –

Definitely not the kind of energy drinks that came to your mind on your first thought. Carrying a glucon-d, ORS is beneficial for the trek as it is highly energy consuming.

Protein Bars –

Along with the energy drinks, protein bars or any other food item is much necessary to minimize any sort of risk. There are food stalls along the way but make sure you carry your own too.

Credit Cards –

This becomes an optional part for most of the members in a group, but carrying a credit card helps a lot as there are risks of running out of money. However, it might not be a very big issue in a group.

Camera –

Last but not the least, to capture every moment along the way and to store the photographs in the memory box forever. You’ll need a camera. Yes, It did not need a special mention, but if I wouldn’t have mentioned it, I would’ve regretted it.

The first place associated with Kasol is Kheerganga, the 12km trek is one of the most exciting and yet spine-chilling adventure and everyone who plans to visit Kasol definitely need to visit Kheerganga. The journey of 12km embarks through the mountains with narrow roads and waterfalls along the way. Being there at the moment, will definitely make you feel like having a walk in the heart of nature, as above you are from the ground level, so below you are from the peak and being at the centre of a mountain feels magical.

2. Hot Spring Bath

As the name makes it obvious, Hot spring bath is one of the main attraction of Kheerganga, it is just a naturally occurring hot tub until you step inside feeling the stress draining out, the bath is definitely worth the 12km trek and you cannot forget it, ever.

3. Gurudwara Shri Manikaran Sahib

One of the most popular Gurudwaras in the country is located in Kasol, it has a flowing river across the gurudwara and also offers hot bath. No doubt, that it is one of the most beautiful places in Kasol and Gurudwaras in the country.

4. Chalal Trek Trail

The trek trail is the path that leads to the Chalal trek, you can find the flowing river and pebbles along the path of the trial. It will surely be one of the most memorable walks of your life.

5. Tosh
