The new educational approach 2020: A turnout after 3 decades.

0

It was on 29th July 2020, the educational system existing since 1986, got transformed. The announcement was made by Union ministers for Information and Broadcasting(I&B), Prakash Javedkar, and Human Resource Development (HRD) minister, Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank. The draft was prepared by a panel of experts and escorted by former ISRO chief- K. Kasturirangan. To bring about the much-needed change in the educational system of India, where students can freely learn out of their interests and capabilities, the 34-year old educational system has been replaced by the new national education policy to meet this need. This system meets the requirements of the present generation and is aiming for upgrading the quality of education and bringing more flexibility to the students and teachers.

The new educational approach 2020: A turnout after 3 decades.

Previously, affording education was hardly possible by everyone, hence a large part of our society got deprived of quality education especially talking about the remote and rural areas. With the introduction of the new education policy, each one will get equal access to education and will achieve full human potential. The aim is to bridge the gap between the existing education system being followed and what is required to be followed so that equity, quality, and integrity can be mainstreamed. Increased emphasis is on conceptual learning rather than rote learning, with developing the creative potential of every individual. The major development has been taken care of on the Right of children to free and compulsory education which was laid down in the year 2009. The elimination of ‘coaching culture’ and the promotion of regular formative assessment will be prioritized.

Understanding the four stages:

The new educational approach 2020: A turnout after 3 decades.

Besides ensuring 100% gross enrollment ratio in school education by the year 2030, NEP is also looking forward to a universal approach for all levels of schooling right from foundation stage to secondary level i.e., grade 12. The changes made are as follows covering the four stages:

  1. Foundation level-It includes children aging from 3 to 8 years. This level is split into two parts i.e., the first three years will be pre-schooling or Anganwadi and the next two years will include primary school level i.e., grades 1-2.
  2. Preparatory level- This level will include children of age group 8 to 11 and will comprise of classes 3 to 5.
  3. Middle level- Children of classes 5 to 8 and of age 11 to 14 will come under the middle stage of schooling.
  4. Secondary level- It is split up into two parts. Classes 9 to 10 in the first phase and 11 to 12 in the second, covering children of age group 14-18.

More emphasis is given to early childhood education to ensure the quality of education at the preliminary stage. Students have the freedom to choose their paths according to their interests and capabilities. Equal emphasis is given to all courses of science, social science, mathematics, arts, and sports.

Ease of language

The students will get access to their mother language or local language till grade 5, and preferably till 8th grade or beyond so that the medium of instruction is made easy and understanding becomes more suitable.

There will be more options to the students for learning foreign languages which was most commonly limited up to German and French. Languages such as Thai, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, and Russian will now be introduced to students of secondary level. Sanskrit will be made compulsory at all levels of school and will be taken as an important complementary option. Classical languages such as Oria, Prakrit, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Pali will also be made available as an option for students.

Special arrangements for students with hearing impairment have been also taken care of by implementing Indian Sign Language (ISL).

P.A.R.A.K.H

The new educational approach 2020: A turnout after 3 decades.
source

Performance, Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge and Holistic development is what PARAKH stands for. This will be now the new assessment body and will be responsible for setting up rules and guidelines for student evaluation.

For classes 10 and 12, board examinations will continue and students will be given the freedom to take their board exam in any schooling year, one for the main board exam and the other for their improvement. Emphasis will be on making the educational approach easy and also encouraging the core potential of the student.

For boosting the extracurricular activities among students, the school authorities will be encouraged to set up Bal Bhavans, so that students participate in art, sports, and various fields. This helps in diversifying the young minds and getting them connected to what makes them feel happy and interested in and hence, choosing their career path.

Interdisciplinary College Education

The system has ensured a holistic and better interdisciplinary system of education for students at the undergraduate level. Underlining the high-quality support systems, the government has also stressed upon funding of resources adequately to the socio-economically weak background. Attention to the mental health of students is also prioritized by making the availability of more number of counselors in every field, right from professional and career-related to physical and psychological counselors.

  • The undergraduate degree course of three to four years will now have the option for multiple exits at any point during the whole course process. The students will not be deprived of certificate and recognition and will be provided a certificate if completed one year in their course. A diploma will be provided if a student leaves the course after two years and a full degree certificate on completion of the whole course without making any exit in between. So, overall i.t’s a relief to students as their time and money will not get wasted if they need to leave the course for any personal reason.
  • To establish a high standard of education all over India, M.E.R.U. which stands for Multi-disciplinary Education and Research University will be set up. The aim is to achieve a comprehensive and multidisciplinary education.
  •  NRF which stands for- National Research Foundation will take care of research and innovation in India and will also fund the researches in all fields.

Headway to Online Education

The new educational approach 2020: A turnout after 3 decades.

For not letting education to get hindered due to any situation which makes children not attend schools, a very strong online base needs to be set up. So, the government has put forth, set of recommendations to foster online education as an alternative in the future to combat any situation that will obstruct the in-person approach of education.

Higher Education Commission of India (HECI)

The new educational approach 2020: A turnout after 3 decades.

All UGC, AICTE, and NCTE will now come under HECI and not function as individual bodies. The medical and legal education will be excluded from this branch and will continue working as a separate body. Also, public and private institutions will work under the same set of rules and regulations set up by HECI.

Adult education has been stressed upon to achieve 100% youth literacy by the year 2030. Previously, equal importance to all subjects was not given and in that process, students had to choose out of some pressure or would not feel the freedom to choose according to their interests. Now, there won’t be any fixed choices and students can choose across their streams. No barriers and limited choices will be made in vocational and academic courses, and between curricular and non-curricular activities. The introduction of vocational courses will start from sixth grade itself and will also include an internship. The burden has been reduced immensely and freedom of choice will help students select their career paths wisely.

Overall, the stake is very responsible enough and is focused on making India more literate and enhancing the quality of education. If the implementation is successful, then possibly India can come at par with countries having a better literacy rate. This step is very important to eliminate the factors hindering the freedom of choice of students which is putting a great overall effect on employment factors as well.

It is certainly not a very pleasant sight when you find a video of an unknown man outside your door looking into your peephole. This psychological horror portrays a story of a struggling photographer Aaron who is offered a contract by Josef. Josef invites Aaron to a strange remote cabin for the meeting that has a number of frightening possibilities. He starts confessing things one by one once they proceed. As the name clearly suggests, the story keeps getting creepier as we get going forward. By the end, it’ll most evidently give you the creeps of horror you’re looking for. 4. REC (2007)

Must Watch Horror Footage Films : Unravel the fear

REC is a Spanish motion picture of 2007. This movie is the original edition of the remake “Quarantine”. The remake consists of a few added scenes and exclusion of a few. Well, that’s typically the case with the remakes. Having said that, REC put on a much intense and realistic cinematic experience as compared to the remake. This horror thriller actually portrays a footage covering firefighters’ intervention at an apartment building. But the apartment building, anyhow, had other plans for them. The film is surely startling.

Scarlet is an archaeologist who is trying to find a magical stone to set things right in the world. A flock is convinced to explore the horrific route that leads to the catacombs. They start examining through the tunnels in the lust of power and money to reach the ultimate spot. Digging deep down to the surface of the Earth where 20 millions bodies are buried, doesn’t seem like a very good plan. What happens inside the tunnel is what follows. This footage movie is totally a must watch and believe me it will send shivers down your spine. Will they make it out or not? We’ll find out.

Never Underestimate an Anime Character

0
Bakugo vs Deku

It’s not every day that you see a super-powered individual capable of ripping the town open, roam around in a commoner’s guise. This holds true even for the beautifully rendered worlds of Anime. Since it is basic human nature to express disbelief, it is fairly easy to dismiss a scrawny kid talking a big game. Animes usually have their splendid and ridiculously lived in unbelievable worlds. But this should not be the judge of the Anime’s general suspension of a character as weak, based on the way they look.

Never Underestimate an Anime Character

Most post-modern Anime titles have their fair share of underestimated Main characters. Ranging from the way they look, how they are built, to concluding their powers judging by a past battle, this can happen in so many ways. Usually, given enough time, every Anime turns this around. The Main Character may go through rigorous character development or glow ups that they end up being the hero they are supposed to be. So, here is a list of 6 over-the-top powerful Anime Main Characters who were underestimated by the world they live in.

Kamijou Toma

Academy City is a beautiful city-state drawing considerable inspiration from the eye candy that is the Tokyo Cityscape. Sprawling with students from all over the world, the city is the perfect destination for everyone living in the ‘A certain magical/scientific’ world. The only restriction? You have got to have esper powers.People of the said universe is capable of emitting super powers. These are called esper powers. This may range from simple telekinesis to much more complicated powers like space warping and matter manipulation.

Toma
Toma

Espers of the said world are usually graded by their ability levels and goes from a basically powerless Level 0 to a massively destructive Level 5. Though superhuman individuals with Level 5 abilities exist in Academy city, Kamijou Toma is your everyday Level 0. Now, A certain series isn’t really an Anime title that displays hard work and perseverance or Mind over Matter. Toma is simply underestimated for him being a Level 0 and that will exactly be the downfall of his opponents.

Blessed with the broken ability that is ‘Imagine Breaker’, this teen is capable of negating any esper or magical power upon contact with his right arm. This put him in a lot of tight spots. But Kamijou Toma is so easily overlooked and underestimated that he had actually beat multiple Level 5s on multiple occasions. If you have not already, be sure to give ‘A certain Magical Index’ a watch.

Saitama

Saitama is the epitome of underestimated main characters. Having gained planetary level powers by just doing situps and push-ups, this bald-headed superhuman is a hero just for fun. The One Punch Man universe has quite the array of superpowered beings. From the ever-upgrading Genos to the subtle hero WatchDogMan, Saitama is sure in a league of his own.

Saitama
Saitama

Saitama is so powerful he can finish off any enemy in just one single hit. Hence the name, One Punch Man. Despite being the most powerful hero in the series so far, the world is yet to know the actual raw power this hero has. This is partially due to the fact that Saitama fluked his hero test which ended up with him being a B-class hero. To add up on that fact, the hero King, who is apparently just a fake that salvages Saitama’s spoils, steals so much credit that everyone believes King is the most powerful hero.

Saitama has been getting some attention in the series. It is still unclear if the hero will work his way up to be the most recognized hero in the OPM universe.

Kuroko

Basketball is a game of pure skill, extreme athleticism and total hard work. One look at Kuroko and you’ll come to the same conclusion that everyone else draws from him; too weak. And that is exactly what Kuroko wants you to think. Being the phantom sixth member of the team that produced the best five basketballers in the anime, Kuroko’s playstyle blends perfectly well with his physique.

Kuroko
Kuroko

Kuroko is the main protagonist of the sports anime Kuroko no Basket. It is due to his weak appearance that he can hide in plain sight. He would seem so worn-out and harmless that everyone simply ignores him or doesn’t detect his presence at all. This allows Kuroko to do quick steals and passes that changes the entire game without the opponents knowing what’s going on for the most part.

Mob Psycho

Kageyama is a force to reckon with. Clearly, not aesthetically. His weak appearance, as well as his slow and laid back personality, makes him seem totally harmless. Psychics rule the world of Mob Psycho. Most with their own special abilities and skillsets. To an ordinary person, Kageyama would seem like a normal teenager doing normal everyday tasks.

Kageyama
Kageyama

Apparently, there is a very big power lying dormant inside Kageyama that allows him to manifest extreme Psychic powers. Everyone who disregards Kageyama as a weak brat would get themselves in serious trouble once Mob (Kageyama) flips. He is an all-powerful entity capable of wiping out everything and everyone in his way.

Mob Psycho Season 3 is expected to drop in 2021.

Goku/Vegeta or every fighter in the DBU

The Dragon Ball Universe is weird. It has quite the amount of cosmic entities hell-bent on destroying the Saiyans; the shows central race. Imagine being an extremely strong individual capable of destroying planets and be overlooked by puny humans. Apparently, no one is as strong as Mr.Satan. Mr.Satan, simply put, is a free-loader feeding off of Saiyan glory.

DBZ Universe
DBZ Universe

Every character in the Dragon Ball Universe is quite strong when compared to Mr.Satan. Having trained all their lives, they all pack quite the punch. Even Mr.Satan’s own daughter Videl is much strongest than the alleged world’s strongest man. All in all, DBU paints a brilliant picture of how masses can be brainwashed into believing something absurdly ridiculous.

Hinata Shoyo

A 172 cm tall middle blocker is probably one of the strangest as well as rarest of all volleyball trivia. For starters, the middle blocker is supposed to be tall as they are required to shut the opponent out and keep the ball in play as well as jump high and spike the ball across the net. Now, for someone as short as 172 cm, this will seem quite impossible. But that is where Hinata Shoyo from Haikyuu!! sweeps his opponents off-balance.

Hinata
Hinata

Hinata Shoyo goes quite very far in terms of stamina and speed. Devoid of any good technique or game sense, this speed and stamina would seem pretty useless in volleyball. But, the key point is, Hinata can jump, really high. And that makes a world of difference. Couple that with the pitch-perfect sets pulled off by the Karasuno setter Kageyama, and that is one deadly duo at play.

Haikyuu!! To the Top Part 2 is set to be released sometime in August.

Never Underestimate an Anime Character
One for All vs All for One

Some special mentions that would best be included are Naruto for his cockiness, Asta from Black clover for being the best naruto rip-off ever, Slime from That time I was reincarnated as a slime, etc. Now, that seems to stress a point pretty well. Never judge a book by its cover. Especially if it’s a Manga. You’d be missing out on the world.

New Product Development- The ultimate solution to stand out in the market

0

Ever wondered how to set up your business again? or How to cope up with competitors post lockdown in this pandemic? or Want to start a full-fledged new company? Answer to all this is “Developing a new product”. So, what exactly is new product development? It is all about bringing out a new kind of product from a company. This product is such that it is never made by them before. But it is observed to be a product of some other company. Also, it can be altogether a new innovational product in itself.

Most consumer goods are not just highly technologically based but also have aspirational and lifestyle levels. Old Indian firms have begun to diversify into various fields like IT, Telecom, Insurance, etc. Regulation is one of the drivers of this. For example, rise of insurance companies in India targeted at different market segments. Moreover, environmental changes have had a big impact on new product developments.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW PRODUCTS IS NOT A LUXURY BUT A NECESSITY!

Factors contributing to new products

New products have become a priority for 65% of companies around the globe. The evolving consumer lifestyle is the most important factor in developing a new product. The surplus capacity that a firm may have at a given point of time is the key factor in this. For Example, the rise of the wellness department in hospitals. The doctors aim not just to treat the particular issue of patients but focus on overall health and wellness. There are also changes in customer preferences. For Example, the customers nowadays prefer to cook in less time due to tight schedules of jobs. They prefer buying instant products of Curry, Rice, Pasta, Noodles and so on.

The technological changes with progress in time continue to challenge the markets very regularly. To remain competitive, companies need to have a good relationship with technological institutes and universities and also focus on R & D. Also, Government Policies play a significant role to encourage or even discourage competition and entrepreneurship, motivating firms to launch new products.

Let’s check out the major steps involved in new product development

1. Idea Generation

New Product Development- The ultimate solution to stand out in the market

The idea is the way to product development. It is formed by three ways. Firstly, “Internal’” that is ideas given directly from the employees and R&D team members within the company. Secondly, “External”, where ideas can originate from distributors, suppliers, competitors, and customers. Thirdly, through “crowdsourcing” that majorly opens doors to innovation and also creates extensive networks.

2. Idea Screening

The purpose of this is to reduce that large number of ideas. Companies must spot valuable ideas and drop the poor ones as soon as possible. This is done by asking questions like “Is the idea real?”, “Can they win over the competition?” and “Is it worth doing?” So, an idea is evaluated on these grounds and from the customers’ perspective.

3. Concept Development and Testing

In concept development, it is important to distinguish between 3 parts. Firstly, the product idea, the idea for a potential product that the company sees itself endeavoring to the market. Then the product concept, complete version of the idea that is stated in meaningful consumer terms. Lastly, the product image shows that how consumers recognize an actual or potential product. Then comes the concept testing phase. It calls for testing new-product developed concepts with groups of target consumers.

4. Marketing Strategy Development

New Product Development- The ultimate solution to stand out in the market

After removing the unwanted ideas, the next steps help in conceptualizing the marketing strategy. The useful aspects to look out for this are the target market; the planned value proposition and the sales; market share and profit goals. It describes the product’s proposed price, distribution, and marketing budget. The planned long-run sales, profit goals, and marketing mix strategy are also analyzed in this phase.

5. Business Analysis

In this, companies examine the new product’s financial attractiveness by forecasting the sales revenue and the cost invested. Also, companies try to find out how the product will fit into their main objective; how people will shape it; and find suitable skills, reserves, and cashflows. The economic prospects and viability of the product will be carefully gaged in this step.

6. Product development

New Product Development- The ultimate solution to stand out in the market

After receiving the green signal from business analysis, the concept goes to the development stage to the developmental department. It is required that the new product must have the required practical features and also convey the expected psychological characteristics. The R&D department develops and tests one or more physical alternatives to the product concept. The products generated undergo rigorous tests to make sure that they perform reliably and effectively.

7. Test marketing

Test marketing provides the marketer experience with marketing a product before going to the elevated expense of a full introduction. The amount of test marketing needed varies from product to product. Alpha and beta testing methods are used widely by companies. Through this, companies find out the responses of customers on a small scale. Thereby, acts as a precautionary step before launching the product.

8. Commercialization

There comes the last stage of new product development. After the product runs successfully in the test environment, it is open to launching in the actual market. For this, companies have to follow a four-step process. Firstly, deciding when to launch. Then comes launching the product at which particular locations. Then the question arises to target which type of audience. Lastly, how to launch the product whether by promoting digitally or in stores directly.

Examples of New Product Development

New Product Development- The ultimate solution to stand out in the market
Pulse candies

In February 2015, the DS Group – manufacturer of brands such as Rajnigandha (Pan Masala) and Catch (spices) entered the candy segment with Pass Pass ‘Pulse’. Kaccha Aam (26%) and Mango flavor (24%) together claim 50 % share in the HBC market. Raw mango was thus the choice of flavor. In India, the common practice is to eat raw mango with something tangy and spicy. Be it “aam panna” or a slice of raw mango sold on the roadside, it is incomplete without the tang/spices. That’s how the DS group got the idea of a powder-filled candy.

Recently, due to coronavirus pandemic, leading FMCG companies have moved in the hygiene and health space. ITC’s Savlon expanded to products like hand sanitizers and disinfectant spray. Also, the hand sanitizer market has ballooned by 340% in May 2020 as compared to 24% from December to February. Renowned Paints Company, Asian Paints has also launched its first-hand and a surface sanitizer “Viroprotek” in May 2020.

With new startups by people and innovations by companies, new product development will unleash new heights. Also, nobody needs to be an inventor to master new product development. It can be achieved by keeping in mind that the product has to satisfy the customer’s needs appropriately.

4 Ingredient Eggless Oreo Chocolate Mousse You Must Try

0

This 4 ingredients eggless oreo chocolate mousse is a super easy yet quick recipe that even kids can make for themselves, yes it’s so simple but tastes delicious. Who doesn’t like to crunch on those chocolaty yummy oreo shots with a cream-filled center sandwich between the two cookies, one of the favorites among all the kids there? The best thing about this recipe is that it requires a minimal number of ingredients to taste that good and the prep time is just about 20-25 mins.

Unlike variations with ‘Oreo’

Oreo cookies are so versatile that you can experiment with it in numerous ways. By exchanging any sort of base for your recipes such as cakes made from Oreo, Oreo ice-cream, and whatnot. It won’t be wrong if I assume that the 3 ingredient oreo cake has become the most tried deed in this lockdown period. Chilled Oreo milkshakes dressed with some ice-cubes with a drizzle of chocolate sauce all over it tastes so yum, especially in summers. Oreo fudge is another too quick and easy recipe to prepare and it melts so well inside the mouth with each bite.

Have you ever tried making oreo flavored mousse? if not then you’re absolutely at the right place. Just try out this recipe once and you will be amazed by this delicious fusion of whipped cream with Oreo.

Mousse: Everything you need to know

A mousse is a soft and slushy side-dish with a light and airy or a thick and fluffy texture which depends on its preparation method and can be served in desserts. It first originated in France in the early 18th century and the first variation that became popular was one with chocolates. The main ingredients are whipped egg whites or whipped cream, chocolate, or any fruit puree. Though in this blog, I have brought up the egg-less variant which doesn’t make any compromise with its taste, texture, and feel. This recipe is perfect for around 6 servings. Mousses are typically chilled in the refrigerator before serving, which gives them that condensed texture.

At the moment, Let’s just dive into the recipe!

Oreo flavored chocolate mousse garnishes with pomegranate seeds.

Ingredients-

Oreo biscuits- 10 pieces

Butter- 1Tsp

Whipping cream- ½ cup

Dark chocolate- ¼ cup

Method-

  • In a mixer grinder jar, take 10 pieces of chocolate oreo biscuits along with the chocolate cream. The cream will enhance the richness of the mousse to the next level. Grind these biscuits to a fine powder, you can also use the pulse mode of the blender for about 2 minutes.
  • Now, add this fine oreo crumble out in a fresh bowl, and divide it into two parts.
  • From this prepared crumble, take out about 12 teaspoons in another bowl and keep the remaining aside. We will use this as the endmost layer while assembling our mousse.
  • In this, pour the melted butter all over it and give a good mix. You can use salted or unsalted butter for this whichever is available with you on time. Though it won’t make any difference in the taste. Soon, you will notice that the mixture will pile up quite well.
  • Now, take 6 mousse cups ( basically regular small-sized glasses used for serving custard or pudding ) and fill around 2 teaspoons of this butter-mixed crumble in each of them. Press the oreo crumbs slightly to even it bit at the top-surface. Our first-layer of the mousse is ready, you can also keep these glasses in the fridge till you prepare the oreo-flavored whipped cream.
  • Take ½ cup of chilled whipped cream in a bowl and beat it with an electric beater till you notice stiff peaks. When you flip the bowl upside down the cream remains immobile, this is the indication that the cream has been beaten perfectly and is all done. This will take around 8-10 minutes. One tip to get that perfect whipped cream is the cream must be very cold along with the beater and the bowl used for whipping. If you’re doing this in summers then I would recommend placing the bowl over another bigger bowl with some ice-cubes inside it. This will make sure that the temperature is maintained when the cream is beaten. The whipping creams are already sweetened, so I eliminated adding sugar in the recipe. If you like more sweet, then you can adjust the sweetness by adding sugar while whipping the whipped cream. Do add powdered sugar not the crystal one.
  • Now add the remaining oreo crumble to this whipped cream and mix everything well with the help of a spatula.
  • The next step is to fill this mixture in the piping bag. No need to worry if you do not have it, you can use a spoon or regular plastic bag to fill.
  • The piping bag is ready, let’s fill up the glasses with the mousse. Fill the mousse throughout the glass leaving ¼ space at the top. Keep in the refrigerator for around 15 minutes or until the mousse fixes a bit.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate glaze which will act like ‘cherry on the cake’ for our mousse. This will accompany with the oreo flavor by giving it a chocolaty hint. Take ¼ cup dark chocolate in a bowl and melt it by placing it in a double boiler. Keep on stirring the chocolate until it melts smoothly. You can also microwave it for around 10-15 secs. And your glaze is ready. It is that simple!
  • Take out the mousse filled glasses from the refrigerator. After the glaze cools down, pour the melted chocolate generously all over the mousse. Add approximately 2 tsp in each of them. Again you need to refrigerate it for around 5 minutes.
  • Our mousse is almost done. Garnish it with some crumbles of Oreo cookie at the top.
Oreo chocolate mousse with some Oreo crumbles on the top

This dessert not only seems to be so adoring and embellishing but tastes heavenly. You can reorder the elements of the mousse as per your choice whichever way you feel it more presentable. It’s the perfect go-to dessert for a kids Birthday party or even some sort of functions or house gatherings. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to go and impress your family and loved ones by making this delightful and piquant mousse for them.

Merry eating!

resignation-letter

You need to take full care of a resignation letter compilation from the beginning itself. A letter starts by mentioning your personal details. These details start with your mane, street address, city/state/province, phone number and e-mail address respectively. These personal details should be filled with proper notice. You must not leave any chances of error.  Once you are done with personal detailing, then mention the date in a formal format. It should be in a way like “Month name date, the year” which is August 1st, 2020.

Mention the employer details in your resignation letter

The employer details are equally as important as your personal details. It is a formal way of presenting your resignation request. The detailing includes Employer name, Employer title and the company name respectively. Do not mention all these three things together. Use three different lines for mentioning three different details. Then give some space and greet the sender with proper salutation before writing the main content that is the body of the letter. You may use salutation words like Dear or respected.

Everything goes well if you are able to express yourselves clearly. The body or content of your letter is a place wherein you need to be super good and damn clear. Also, don’t mention the full story behind the reason for your resignation. It needs to be straight-forward. Try not to stuff up your language.

Body of First paragraph

Start by stating your name and the position you are resigning. Then mention the effective date that is your last working day. Usually, it is two weeks from the day you give a resignation notice. Remember that this letter is just a formal notification for your company that you will not be working in there anymore. All the reasons and back story is already known to the authority.

Thank them for giving you such a good experience. Mention that you enjoyed your full time of service. This positive mote is good for you. Nothing should be left on a pessimistic note. You never know when you would need somebody’s help. So, leave keep your tone of gratitude and optimism.

Or in some cases, you must mention that you will work up with the team to get everything done as a final touch. See for yourselves what fits in your situation. With this, you are done with your content of the letter.

“In the middle of the difficulty, lies an opportunity.”
Albert Einstein

India has proved this quote true. It has emerged to become the second-largest manufacturer for personal protective equipment (PPE) kits. This happened within a short period of two months after the pandemic arose in India in March 2020. PPE kits mainly include masks (surgical and N-95), gloves (surgical and examination), coveralls and gowns, head cover, goggles, face-shields, and shoe cover. India has efficiently begun to manufacture these PPE kits due to the widespread Coronavirus pandemic.

Challenges faced for manufacturing

Currently, China is the world leader in both the manufacture and export of PPE kits. India imported lakhs of PPE kits from China but the kits received were faulty and of low quality. The US and the Asia Pacific have a combined market share of 61 percent. The US has 33 percent and Asia Pacific Region has a 28 percent share of PPE kits. On the other hand, Europe has a share of 22 percent.

So, how did it happen for India? With a nation with having a population of 1.3 million, it was very difficult to depend on the imports. Dr. Sanjiv Relhan, the Chairman of Preventive Wear Manufacturer Association of India stressed upon the one significant fact. There were 100+ firms in India making the gowns, bodysuits, and other gears like masks, gloves to fight coronavirus. But the problem came into highlight when no one was making the sealed bodysuits. Such bodysuits use tape and worn by the doctors to protect themselves from this harmful virus while treating the patients. The issue of shortage of unique tape sealing machines was also creating havoc. There was a lack of standardization in this and cheap kits from China was creating more dilemma.

Implementation of a powerful solution

The government came into action in early January 2020. Under the leadership of Smriti Irani, the Textile Ministry team has been taking many crucial steps. It is ensuring that only certified players are eligible to make the kits. These players include Nair Matrix Clothing, Arvind Ltd, Rich Global Exports Pvt Ltd, and so on. These firms across the entire supply chain are successfully supplying PPE kits to the government. Within a month, 14 manufacturers cleared the technical testing and the number of manufacturers grew to 52 in next month. This continued to grow further. Some manufactures are now using ultrasonic sealing waves. This helps in sealing the edges of the bodysuits just like using an iron to stick the stickers on the t-shirts.

Moreover, India has started to use the alternative of Nitrile power-filled gloves by replacing them with lactic gloves. This is because lactic gloves are less costly. The fabric of the bodysuit used is non-woven which helps to optimize the costs. But the variety of lightweight woven fabric is also used by many manufacturers. These PPE kits ensure to cover the overall body of the frontline workers with the provision of a zip-up facility. Also, the Textile Committee is sincerely doing the work of establishing laboratories for the testing of textiles and textile machinery. They provide the tests for inspection and examination considering the factor for the quality of textile products and textile machinery.

Growth in productions of PPE kits

When compared to March 30, India produced 8,000 PPE every day. Stating the recent scenario of May 18, India produced 4.5 lakh PPEs per day. Arvind manufacturer produces 15,000 PPE kits per day and serves through their plants situated in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Ranchi. Their executive director, “Kulin Lalabhai” also applauded the government of India that works with the textile industry from scratch. For Shahi Exports, only 5 of its 58 plants are into service for manufacturing these kits. Out of 1.2 lakhs, only 750 employees are deployed on the plants. The company now successfully makes 20,000 bodysuits per day. It has supplied over 9 lakhs kits to “Hindustan Lifecare Limited (HLL)” in Kerala, the Central government’s agency in charge of medical procurement.

There is immense growth in this arena which is highly commendable. In just 60 days, there was a 56-fold growth. It is estimated to be 7,000 crore industry in the future. India has so far an inventory of 15.96 lakh PPE kits. Another 2.22 crore kits are in the process of manufacturing for future requirements. The interesting fact here is that more than 600 companies in India are now certified to produce PPEs. The global market worth is certainly to be $92.5 billion by 2025.

Future scope and improvements in PPE kits

There is a high demand for PPE kits for frontline workers due to increasing cases of Coronavirus in India. Thereby, these are banned to give in export too. In a recent webinar, the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has emphasized for the lifting of the ban on export. This is possible once the local manufacturers can meet the Indian demand well.

Also, the government is boosting this business on another level by helping the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The World Bank and the Asian Development Bank are providing trade finance programs to MSMEs. Also, they have decided to tie-up with technological companies. It will set up the analytics to maintain optimum stock levels, limit wastage, and avoid stock-outs of the kits. Some Government institutes like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) are finding innovative methods for testing the kit’s materials. With these practices into place, it will improve the quantitative and qualitative requirements of PPE kits. This good news will spread positivity within the frontline warriors. They are able to gain more confidence in their work and are giving their best to combat this pandemic.
