FINDING FREEDOM…

0

Self transformation is the             ultimate freedom.

* What does FREEDOM’ means to you?

* Are you happy with your life?

* Do you treat others in the way as you want them to behave with you?

* Do you follow your heart?

* Do you take 100% responsibility of your life?

* Do you consider yourself as your best friend?

If you have no answers to these questions then you are very far away from freedom. We are so delighted with the freedom we got in 1947 that caught us in the bars of such habits with whom we are unaware that the freedom we talk about start within ourselves. Nobody gives us freedom, this is what we decide ourselves that how much free we are. We always discuss about our political system, our society, our country, various common issues, etc, but we forgets the most important person i.e. we ourselves. As a result, we bind into fear, greediness, depression, anger and negativity.

Freedom is a very strong emotion and we need to start feeling it by ourselves. ‘YOU’ are the creator and designer of your own life. Try to give wings to your freedom. Let it fly and decide what type your life you want to live. What all you can do, this is what only you can decide but you need to be very sure about how you want to live your life. Take it’s responsibility and don’t ever give any right to your situations and the people to decide the way, you want to live your life. Also keep asking question from yourself like what you can do or work so that people may know you. The moment you get an answer to this question, start writing a story of your life accordingly.

Nothing is permanent so enjoy every moment. Whenever we succeed we becomes happy and when we fails, we gradually becomes sad. But start memorising, was any experience stable? The answer comes out to be a bIg ‘NO’. This is the reason that changes very important part of our life. They are the most enjoyable part of one’s life. Actually if these things will not take place in our life, we tend to end our lives just because there will be no change.

Today we failed and struggled but tomorrow we will get success. If we don’t fail today, tomorrow the success will not be as amazing as it will be now. that’s why living every moment is freedom. Success and failure, both are good friends and is a part of same coin termed as life. That’s why adopting both success as well as failure is the only intelligence.

‘YOU’ are the one who can make you happy. Sounds different but true. For the entire life I was searching for happiness all around, but at the end while taking my last breathe I realize that i forgot to search it at my own address. Your key to happiness is with you only. No one can ever make you happy. It’s a myth that any special award or any result will give us real happiness. This is unstable. Stable happiness is with us only. It is just a matter of feeling. So, be over joyed and do whatever you want to do.

‘YOU’ are the most powerful person in your life. In childhood, whatever we used to think we used to do it without any fear or remorse. It was like we can do anything. We had full confidence on ourselves. Today also, the situations are same but we face lack of confidence situation. If we decide that we can achieve whatever we want, we want to do something, we have to change, we need to be happy, we have to be healthy, we have to be successful, we have build a good relationship, we have to learn something, etc. Then we will be happy. This is what God has gifted to every person.

Failure, sadness, disappointment, sorrow, etc., is what our brain has given and we and only we can change it. This is not a new thing. This is what we are doing since birth. Imagine a person who can do all this, he must be very powerful. He is nobody but only ‘YOU’.

Freedom is precious because we need to fight ourselves for it, so get ready to become a freedom warrior and fight for it.

Time for Some Non-calendar Festivals

2

The precious time  of our life that is our college life . Everyone knows that the worlds of high school and college couldn’t be further apart. But, what parallels can be drawn between the two? From childhood to adulthood, high school allows you to gain a sense of what it will be like to be an adult. On the other hand, college allows you to fully take ownership of your time, responsibilities and who you want to become. life in college is incomplete without fest .

Birth Control Methods For Teenagers

0

I guess people have realized this fact that, when we were teens, we were very desperate to have sex. Now don’t deny please, this is a fact. Having sex when we were teenagers is something like achieving a great success for us. But being a teenager, we barely have any idea about sex. So most of the teenage sex stories results in getting pregnant. So for all those teenage who are reluctant to share their problems, this is the solution for you. Before jumping into bed, make sure you are ready with prevention.

1. Male Condom

The male condom is a thin sheath of rubber that slips over the penis. It provides a barrier that prevents pregnancy and STDs by keeping semen from entering the vagina.

2. Female Condom

It is a pouch with two flexible rings, one fitting inside the vagina and the other on the outside. When it is inserted into the vagina, the closed end shields the cervix, the sheath lines the vaginal walls, and the ringed open end hangs outside the vagina to cover the labia.

3. Birth Control Vaginal Ring

The birth control vaginal ring (NuvaRing), is a small flexible ring that a women put in her vagina for three weeks every month. It’s easy to obtain with a prescription and is very effective. It works by releasing progestin and estrogen, and therefore has many of the same benefits and side effects as the pill and the shot. It may also cause increased vaginal discharge, vaginal irritation or infection.

4. Birth Control Pills

Pills are one of the most popular forms of birth control because they are effective, convenient, safe to use and easy to obtain with a prescription. Girl take one pill each day, which delivers hormones that prevent eggs from leaving ovaries and make cervical mucus thicker, which keeps sperm from getting to the eggs.

5. Birth Control Shot

The birth control shot (Depo-Provera) is a good option for girls who aren’t good at remembering to take a pill every day, since the injection is once every three months. The shot contains the hormones progestin to help prevent against pregnancy by working in the same way that birth control pills do.

6. Contraceptive Implant

This is a thin, flexible plastic implant (about the size of a matchstick) that contains a hormone and is placed under the skin of the upper arm. But the implant doesn’t give protection against STDs. So I guess you need the condom too in this process. About 1 of every 100 girls using this method will get pregnant. So it is a highly reliable method I think.

7. Contraceptive Patch (Ortho Evra)

This method is a non harming way. This patch contains hormones that are absorbed through the skin and prevent the ovaries from releasing an egg. It needs to be replaced once a week for three weeks (basically that week is the period week). One demerit is it also doesn’t provide protection against STDs so condom should be used. The failure rate of this method is 9%.

8. Intrauterine Device (Iud)

In this process, a doctor inserts the small, flexible, T-shaped birth control device into the uterus. This process also doesn’t provide protection against STDs. Out of 1 in every 100 women using this process, will get pregnant so the failure rate is about 0.2%-0.8%.

There are suitable  tracks for this kind of activities on the peak of Palandöken, in the towns of Uzundere  and İspir. The rugged and dramatic terrain of mountains surrounding Erzurum offers sure and exciting biking trails to the adventure lovers. The beauty of the countryside, flora and fauna and Turkish lifestyle is best experienced on a bike’s seat as you meander through lush green hills and dales. Skiing:

The Palandöken Mountains provide an excellent skiing experience owing to their great height which makes for long descents. Being one of the highest altitude positioned provinces of Turkey, Erzurum has the coldest of climates, remaining covered with snow for 4-5 months during winter. The vast open spaces, snow clad mountains and the height of skiing slopes are enough to pump up the adrenaline in any ski enthusiast. The Palandöken Ski Centre situated in southern Erzurum, lies in the east-west direction the summit at a height of 3185m.

Ever imagined flying like a bird? And imagine you are flying, with the Turkish mountains in the backdrop. And as you fly high, the beauty of paragliding at Erzurum remains incomparable. The picturesque views of the rugged terrain, the valley and the mountains, and settlements give thrill and amusements with breath taking experience. As you look below, you will see the rows of local houses like tiny dots on the mountain landscapes, and if look along the horizon you can trace the coastline for hours. There are proper and specific points for paragliding around the city, particularly in and around Palandöken Mountain Ranges and Tortum Lake.

Why Genetic Engineering Concerns You?

0

I am sure you  have heard a lot about genetic engineering in newspapers,TV shows, the internet, etc. Perhaps, sci-fi movies like X-men have also aroused your imaginations as to what miracles are possible merely by altering genetic material. Surely, it must have raised curiosity and wonder into your minds as to what exactly is genetic engineering and how does it concern you as an individual.

Why Genetic Engineering Concerns You?

So, what does genetic engineering mean?

Genetic engineering is the branch of biotechnology that deals with the manipulation and alteration/deletion of genes (a portion of the DNA strand responsible for physical, chemical and behavioral traits of a living entity) with a view to satisfy certain objectives. Therefore, in a nutshell, genetic engineering is the Editing of the Blue Print of Living beings. This editing provides the scientists with astonishing power over living organisms and also over the natural balance at large. This power can be either a force for good or a force for evil. As citizens of a global village, it is our duty to know what exactly are the changes being done in the fabric of nature so that we may scrutinize and analyse the elements of the new world being built.

Let’s take a look at the changes being brought about by genetic engineering in the present as well as the near future:-

(1) Engineered babies:-

Why Genetic Engineering Concerns You?

It may seem straight out of science fiction but this breakthrough is near at hand. Already, rapid advancements are being made to identify parts of the Human DNA responsible for different physical and behavioral aspects of a person. After this is done, it is only a matter of time when the recently discovered CRISPR technology is used to cut off undesired genes and introduce the desirable ones. Perhaps, one day very soon parents would encounter such advertisements as follows-

“Opt for a designer baby today. Want your baby to have straight hair, curly hair, blue eyes, brown eyes, higher intelligence, good character? Visit us today for the best deals!”

(2)Overcoming diseases and old age:-

Why Genetic Engineering Concerns You?Many terrible genetic disorders like Down’s syndrome, sickle-cell anaemia ,Turner syndrome etc., are permanently curable by removal of the defective genes causing them. Moreover, several new genes can be introduced that increase immunity against a host of other diseases. Perhaps, even cancer and AIDS can be totally eliminated by the appropriate genetic manipulation. With further understanding of the genes responsible for the bodily changes resulting in old age, we can expect the slowing down of aging by genetic manipulation. With enough luck, we might even be able to reverse aging! Our generation may in fact be the first to enjoy a longer and disease-free lives with our family!

(3)Genetically Modified plants and animals:-

Why Genetic Engineering Concerns You?Most of the advancements in genetic engineering have been done in the arena of agriculture. In the early days of modern genetic engineering, scientists exposed plant genes to radiation with a view to create useful genetic mutation purely by chance. In the modern times however, the methods have been refined and slicing up the undesirable genes and adding the desirable ones is done using CRISPR. Already , several GM food crops have reached the market . These include pest-resistant,nutrient-enriched and drought-resistant varieties and those with longer shelf lives. This means we can win the battle against hunger and malnutrition with Genetic engineering soon!

A cause of concern:-

Why Genetic Engineering Concerns You?Till now, you have seen the miracles caused by genetic engineering but like any other scientific knowledge,it isn’t without drawbacks. Some such ethical and scientific dangers are:-

  • Firstly,it can distort the idea of “humanness” as we experiment with hybrids constituted by combination of human and animal genes.
  • Secondly, introduction of “designer babies” also poses a unique dilemma and may create a sort of divide/discrimination between the “designed” and “natural” human beings.
  • Thirdly, GMO need to be thoroughly tested lest they cause greater harm than good for humanity as well as the natural ecosystem at large.

Despite all the red signs revolving around Genetic engineering, it can be concluded that it is more of a blessing to the human society. In reality, it can be even said to be mankind’s next step in the direction of evolution. Through careful observation of the ethics surrounding it and the active role of organisations like the Genetic Engineering Approval Committee (GEAC) it is possible to develop genetic engineering as a tool to build up our civilization. Let us all move ahead to a new future free of diseases and suffering!

A poem You Can Relate with Your Soul Sister

2
soul sister poem

A Soul Sister is a girl who is a part of your soul. Just as the soul resides in the very depth of your heart, she holds a place in that depth of your heart. In life we meet a lot of people and connect to many but some relations are so special that they have a direct access to our soul. To the sunshine of life, Soul Sister:

To the absolute queen: She is the one in a million. She has her own ways of dealing with life and that is one of the reason she is an inspiration.
Hey Soul Sister!! You’re a blessing in my life
No Diamonds no Rubies shine brighter than your eyes
To the world you’re wearing that invisible crown
Your smile has the power of chasing away frown

Admirable!! Isn’t she?!! : To all the qualities she has, she is an endless beauty with a nature that cannot be defined with words. Any word used to admire her is insufficient.
You’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever known
I admire you for every quality that you own
Only angels can send a person with your role
You are a flawless beauty with a beautiful soul

To the times we spend together: Everyone knows how close we are to each other and the time we spent with each other since childhood strengthened the bond with each passing step together.
You are my superhero we’re the partners in crime
And how can we forget the good old goofy times
The smiles, the laughs, the giggles, the talks
Those memories are bundled with strongest locks

To the phenomenal bond we share: She is my first best friend, she is my mentor for life, she is my soul sister and one of the most important person in my life.
There are times we’re unable to talk for days
But whenever we talk it’s the same old ways
It’s not always important to speak your heart out
Some people talk to us with eyes and not mouth

Nothing can change my love for you: Some people in life are forever kind of people. You know no matter what they will always be the same for you for a lifetime and more.
For you I can always walk that extra mile

We’re holding hands with the forever smile
Although fate has a power to alter things in life
But no one can change what true love decides

I would like to conclude with a few lines
Hey Soul Sister!! May you prosper like you dream in life
May the heavens let this angel show all her magical sides”

Must Read Review of Kaabil

0

How one does not root for Hritikh Roshan in Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil. He plays a visually impaired young man, who systematically plots revenge on those who brutally violated his blind wife. Hritikh puts a committed performances but the film is weighed down by many contrivances. The most evident among them is glaring dichotomy at its core. The director of the movie gave us leads who refuse to be pitied because of their visual disabilities.

They have jobs, they are independent and seek companionship and love. It is a refreshing upgrade from the old cliché where handicaps were shorthand for helplessness in movies. But then the script places these characters in a landscape straight out of eighties Bollywood. One that is dominated by smutty eve teasers, political baddies and corrupt cops.

This movie is kind of film that plays out the abandoned warehouses and whose characters do not deliver dialogues but punchlines. All these things are so outdates that you cannot help but croon. The plot sees Hritikh’s character Rohan Bhatnagar and Supriya played by Yami Gautam fall in love and tie the knot, shortly after they set up on a date. The script does not bother with any back story of how they became blind or why neither has any family in their lives.

But talking about it, I am nit-picking. If one watches the movie’s trailer one can easily predict the story. Rohan sets a plan to playback perpetrators, after a barbaric incident they commit, which shatters Rohan’s life.

Namely the neighbourhood bad apple played by Rohit Roy and his corporater brother Ronit Roy, who are protected by thuggish cops Played by Girish Kulkarni and Narendra Jha. There are sharp surprises in the manner the director executes Rohan’s revenge plan and shrewd twists, build around seemingly innocuous values. But the novelty wares off when the same trick is employed over and over again. Plus the film is written with plot holes which are as huge as crators.

Some of these might have been easy to overlook if the film had anything new to offer. But this is a B movie from the eightees which neither includes subtext not nuance.

Yami Gautam has a nice presence, but Rohit and Ronit Roy are characters plucked straight out of a handbook Of Bollywood clichés. The film then is redeemed to some degree by the sincerity and conviction of its leading man. Hritikh makes the audience care and makes them invested in their pain. Even when the film turns increasingly violent and practically implausible, his commitment does not falter. He is the soul reason the flick does not derail and is very much worth watching!

Are you Lifting with Right Intensity ????

0

“Is my training intense enough? Am I pushing my body hard enough and getting the most out of my training?” We have all fallen victim to the “more is better” mentality… If it’s easy it can’t be effective.  I have to give 110% all the time. Focus and drive have to be the backbone of my training period. I don’t know if that’s all true, but before we can say how important intensity is to our training, let’s define training intensity.

When I think of intensity, I think of drop sets, super sets, forced reps, any training technique that enables you to push past the point where you would normally stop. The goal is fatigue and consequently failure. I would definitely say that in order to reach failure, you need intensity. But what is failure?

I tend to think of muscle failure as the point in which your muscles can no longer contract. Why? From my understanding, your muscles fail because they run out of neurotransmitters and they can no longer fire or carry the signal to fire. To the best of my knowledge, and I’m certainly not a medical professional, muscle failure is directly related to your nervous system, just like over training.

I’ve heard people say that the main objective of training should be to “train” your nervous system. These people say that doing heavy compound movements such as squats will have a profound effect on your nervous system, and in turn your body will crank out a synergy of hormones such as testosterone, growth hormone, and IGF-1

Okay, so back to intensity. What I want to know is this – can training intensity exist even if you don’t do drop sets, super sets, giant sets or any of the other principles used to promote muscle failure? For example, I want you to think of the most intense triceps training routine you can imagine. Maybe it’s giant sets over and over, using tremendous focus and taking little time in between sets.

Now compare that to heavy squatting. Maybe you only do ten sets of squats and you rest five minutes between sets, whereas with the triceps routine you do upwards of twenty sets all together and you’re doing super sets with very little rest between sets.

Which is more intense? Off the bat, the triceps routine looks rough… But ten sets of squats is no picnic either. The one thing I can say for sure is that I would feel far more spent after the squat workout. There is nothing really that intense about it; it’s just ten straight sets with ample rest in between. However, I know for sure that my nervous system would be shot after the squats.

People tend to think that if you are to reach your full potential, you must subject yourself to the most painful and trying measures. I don’t believe that being the hardest working bodybuilder makes you the best or most successful. Bodybuilding is not simply about subjecting yourself to the greatest amount of pain and suffering possible.  Training eight hours a day won’t make you bigger and eating one meal a day won’t make you more ripped. Effectiveness is not solely dependent upon the level of challenge. To me, being a fitness enthusiast means knowing what to do, when to do it, and how much of it to do.

Sometimes parts two and three of the definition of intense say it all. On one hand, you can train with focus, determination, and zeal. I relate this to the crazy triceps workout with giant sets and drop sets and small rest intervals. On the other hand, there’s the part of the definition that refers to the strength of the feelings elicited. I relate this more to the squat workout and feeling nauseous and totally spent afterwards.
The bottom line is that training has to be a combination of different types of intensity. It has to be both squats and leg extensions. You have to pick your battles. Some days you’ll be stuck and some days you’ll break new ground. But if you are able to create the right type of balance by recognizing what is necessary, how much to do and when to do it, you’ll never have to question whether or not your training has enough intensity.
