Health now-a days has become the utmost priority to most of the people. They are now realising the factual meaning of the proverb, ‘Health is Wealth’. They got to know how wealth cannot give happiness or longer life. Though it gives a comfortable life, the luxury itself costs some pages of our beautiful life. That amazing feeling one would have if they’re hale and hearty is something that is very precious.

This picture of Mukesh Ambani’s son, ‘Anant Ambani’ is one of the examples of how people are realizing the fact that being fit and healthy is a much important thing.

Water is another thing which does good to your body in all ways. But yes, people say drinking water at correct time that is after waking up, 30 minutes before meals, before taking bath and before going to the bed benefits you a little more maximizing its efficiency.

On the other hand, though your daily intake of food is well in proportion, if you don’t exercise or move your body, all your efforts for being healthy will go in vain. Yoga, Aerobics, Skipping, Running and Swimming, Cycling or just walking for a certain amount of time will be helpful. Fitness makes you get a perfect shape and strengthens your body. It will also give you a flawless and beautiful skin.

But yes, doing anything to the extremes can lead to illness. So take necessary care before initiating this step. Just make it as a resolution to be healthy from now and enjoy your lovely life ahead. Making this as your everyday habit to get up early in the morning, to exercise, to eat healthy, to think healthy and to be healthy really makes a great and good change! Just give it a try! Shades Of Life

0

HcShades of white will appear soon,

Have trust in thy till the end of the typhoon.

Shades of red confuse people,

Sometimes it is blood and sometimes it is love.

Love and hate are like two sides of the same coin,

Let’s erase the confusion giving red the identity of love for the world to be free of pain.

Shades of blue have depth,

Shades of blue have height.

Make the blue sky your limit,

Learn from the deep blue sea to be calm and clear deep beneath.

Shades of green stands for peace,

Peace is humanity, peace is something that can’t be achieved with ease.

Let’s end the wars and tear away our differences,

Then only we can seize a thing called true peace.

Life is our teacher and we it’s students need to be patient.

It gives us cues, we have to grab them and implement.

Being Happy…

0

Being happy all the time is a difficult job. Most of our lives are spent in the state of unstable equilibrium and we tend to fall off this wagon more times than we would like. Everyone has been “down in the dumps” at some time in their lives. Heck we have been upset and cried ourselves out more times than we care to admit, even to ourselves but we have tackled all these problems head on and have moved on.  Here’s what we tend to do when we are feeling blue:

1. Listening to Music:

Listening to soothing music calms our nerves, lift our spirits and keeps us happy.  Sometimes we understand the emotions of music without actually feeling them. We don’t really feel any danger or threat from listening to music unlike real life situations, so we can perceive the emotion without really feeling them.

2.Watching our Favourite movie or TV series:

Watching your favourite movies or TV series can help loads in reducing stress and lifting your moods. Because when you are watching it relaxes your brain and you don’t have to think about anything while watching. There is a reason we have evergreen movies which we enjoy all the time. They come to our rescue when we need them the most.

3. Reading books:

Reading books helps us escape into a world which is entirely our own: our happy world. People who read can empathize with the problems faced in general. Moreover, reading has been shown to put our brains into a pleasurable trance-like state, similar to meditation, and it brings the same health benefits of deep relaxation and inner calm.

4. Eating Food:

We have all turned to food eventually after a hard day or when we are down hearted, especially when it is a bucket of yummy, frozen ice-cream. We won’t say no to a sizzling plate of spicy chicken-wings either. We might as well accept that food=happiness.

5.Trying Art:

Art is a creative way to be happy. Painting, singing, etc keeps us occupied. As a result we don’t get time to brood over our problems and eventually we move on. We use the benefits of art to express our creative side and drawing skills to reduce stress and get in touch with our feelings.

6. Physical Exercise:

Being active can boost your feel-good endorphins and distract you from daily worries. Regular exercise can increase self-confidence and it can lower the symptoms associated with mild depression and anxiety. Exercise in all forms like playing sports or working out increases your overall health and your sense of well-being, which puts more pep in your step every day.

7. Stay Alone for a while:

Spending time alone helps us prioritise our actions. Getting in touch with nature, feeling the wind in your hair surely makes us feel alive. Going for a walk in the morning or evening and listening to the sounds of nature keeps us sane.

8. Think Positive:

Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. A positive person anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty. You can do a no of stuffs like list all the things you have to be happy about. You can also remember all the happy memories with your friends and family.

9. Travel:

Travel is good for lots of things, but it can also increase mental well-being – and not just in the short-term. Travelling can make you a happier person by building self-confidence, providing new experiences and memories, breaking routine and allowing you to meet people from all over the world. Even taking a ride around the city helps.

10. Talk to friends and family:

And the most important and easiest way to be happy is to surround ourselves with people who care about us and love us. Hanging out with friends and just listening to their banter is enough to forget our anxieties. Moreover they give constructive feedback which will eventually help you.

Because Happy people = Happy life

Interesting answers given by Bollywood leading ladies in interviews

In an industry where men still get the best of the roles, bunch of women are rewriting the rules. Seeking out layered characters even in popular mainstream movies. In 2013 Deepika Padukone went from easily likable Naina Talwar, in Ye Jawani Hai Diwani, to the wacky daughter of Tamilian boss in Chennai Express and then topping that year with a feisty performance in Ram Leela. Kangana Ranaut played an evil mutant in Krrish 3, bringing the right measure of vulnerability to the part. In Ghanchakkar, Vidya Balan sportingly amped it up, in a shrill sartorially challenged housewife, who opened her home to a pair of gangsters. Nimrat Kaur braught a powerful poignancy to the role of a neglected housewife who begins a tentative relationship over handwritten notes in the Lunchbox. These four leading ladies behind significant performances, shared their thoughts about the industry which I am bringing to the readers.

Does there always need to be a little fear or pain inside an actor to create great performances?

Vidya-“I have heard people say that there should be a certain hunger in the stomach, sometimes that helps you deliver a good performance, whether you are a musician or an actor, but I really think that I need my stomach to be full. I don’t think that fear is a nice place to come from. I think certain amount of nervousness is fine but fear is not something I really connect with.”

Who is the actress you grew up admiring?

Deepika-“Well, I grew up in a sports family where films were not the important part. It was just that one Yash Raj’s film or that one Dharma film which looked like wholesome family entertainer, which my parents could take all of us to watch. So, I did not grew up watching or idolising anyone.”

Do you remember the moment you announced to your family you want to be an actor?

Nimrat-“It was tough and difficult to tell my parents because during those years, Bombay had lot of baggage about it, specially for middle class families from simple places. Everybody was full of notions like “ladki akeli bhaj rahe ho, pagal ho gae ho, kya baat kar rahe ho”. But once you get past that hurdle it becomes fine.

Given that acting in films is a fickle profession for females, do you find yourself thinking that after an age roles will dry up?

Kangana-“People very conveniently ask these questions to women but they would never ask this question to men. .This question itself is unfair and should not be asked. But still I think this generation still has a baggage of this question, we should make a change so the next generation would not be asked this question. An actress should not necessarily look a certain way in order to perform a certain role, I belong to this industry and if tomorrow I am not playing a superwomen, I would still want to use my skills and my experiences some or the other way. May be I would want to write, direct or produce because this Industry as much belongs to actresses as to heroes.

Is there a peace of criticism or rejection that stayed with you?

Vidya-” I faced a lot of criticisms as you may know, specially for my dressing. I don’t know what was wrong, I still do not know. I remember reading a blog which said ‘she is so badly dressed she should not step out of her house. That was a very harsh comment for me.”
Interesting answers given by Bollywood leading ladies in interviews
Kangana- “In my case, people have said many rude and mean things to me but the worst phase of my life was when someone targeted my sister when she had an acid attack. Her case was badly scrutinized and some blogger wrote really rude things about my sister.”
Nimrat- “It was when someone once suggested that I should consider plastic surgery as that is the way to actually get some good work. I felt like people sometime forget basic human decency. Just because we are in a profession where we are easily accessible does not mean anybody would just come and say whatever they want.”
Deepika- “Recently in some magazine I was written off as a non-actor which was really hurting. On top of that they wrote she is tall, she looks great and she wears amazing clothes, but there is nothing more to her than that. That time I felt all my efforts went down the drain because if I am regarded as an actor, I want to be known as one.”
Well, these were some of the things told by the top actresses of Hindi cinema, we wish them all the best and we hope that they will engage and entertain us in a manner they always did!

Arles Amphitheatre, France

This two-tiered amphitheatre in Arles, a major tourist attraction, had to be scaled down from its original design due to unexpected limitations, impacting spectator capacity. Transformed into a fortress with four towers post the Roman Empire’s fall, it hosted its first event, a bull race, to celebrate the capture of Algiers. It’s one of the best theatres in the world.

Conclusion

These ten Roman amphitheaters, with their distinct histories and architectural features, continue to captivate and educate. They serve as enduring reminders of the Roman Empire’s architectural ambition and cultural influence, standing as proud symbols of a bygone era’s grandeur.

WILL THE CLAWS KEEP ON ATTACKING FOREVER..???

Hugh Jackman, the incredibly talented Australian actor, who has been portraying one of the longest fictional characters ever portrayed on-screen, carrying the role for more than a decade, confirmed that the upcoming, third Wolverine movie would be his final performance as the legendary x-man. Of course, that doesn’t mean an end for Wolverine himself. When it comes time to pass the torch, the adamantium claws, I believe these actors would be more than capable of taking on the mantle of Marvel’s most badass mutants and I personally feel these actors  hold more chances of becoming the next Wolverine! In this article, let’s take a look at the male actors who, I believe, could take on the role of this iconic character…

10) Michael Shannon

Besides being almost indestructible, Wolverine is a deeply traumatised character whose emotional scars run deep and who better to bring out the wounded and primal side of this animal more than General Zod himself? Not really known for playing upbeat and civil kinds of characters, Michael Shannon’s roles in Man of Steel and 99 Homes can show that he can pull off ruthless and rage-filled roles, which is ideal when your character needs to go berserk at a moment’s notice. However the real appeal comes from how well he captures pain and loss, something integral to Logan, just as much as his brutality.

9) Scott Eastwood

Scott Eastwood is better known as a supporting actor in large-scale features like ‘fury’, ‘gran torino’ and ‘suicide squad’. The son of legendary actor, Clint Eastwood, could provide a fresh-faced for

the character providing Logan with a more youthful look. We’ve seen hints that he can play a rather beaten and violent individual in smaller roles but given the chance, we think he could reinvigorate the aged  X-Man. He’s young enough to play Wolverine at almost any point in his life so he could be brought in into any timeline with relative ease.

8) Michiel Huisman

He made us fall in love with Daario Naharis in “Game of Thrones”. So why not give a shot at him essaying the Wolverine? As Daario Naharis, he showed off that he’s very much at home. With effortless charm and kicking all kinds of ass which is what Wolverine does on a minute-to-minute basis we have no doubt that he could also bring some of the more sombre aspects of the character to life. But in all honesty, we just love to see him breaking some heads letting out snide remarks and more than likely betting one of his fellow X-Ladies before the day is done. Besides he’s already got the hair down.

7) Scott Adkins

The majority of this actor tends to lean towards the b-movie side of things. His most well-known role, being that of Russian fighter “Yuri Boyka” in the “Undisputed Franchise”. Why would we throw him in the ring for a chance to take on the Wolverine style? Because the man is an absolute beast! His fighting prowess and physique can’t be denied. You needn’t look any further than his fight scenes to show that he could easily bring out the Canadian death machine’s most violent side. Throw in a set of claws and I think Adkins would rack up quite the cinematic body count.

6) Charlie Hunnam

As Jackson in Sons of Anarchy, we were presented with a deeply flawed human being, who, despite his bad decisions and tendency to find himself on the wrong side of the law was willing to do anything for his family. In Pacific Rim, we were given a natural leader whose determination and charisma never fell out of place, despite the light-hearted feel at the movie. All-in-all Adam knows how to portray a broken character and knows how to have fun too. That’s the recipe for Wolverine if we ever heard one.

5) Karl Urban

He’s already breathe new life into one iconic badass, so why not another? Urban has already shown what his talent is, in cinematic masterpiece like The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well as reboots like star trek series. But we really have to throw light on his interpretation of ‘Dredd’, the role that finally gave the gritty futuristic judge the respect it deserved. The darkness of the character is stone-cold approach to killing and his ability to speak to the source material, Urban just keeps ticking the boxes of what would make a great Wolverine. In fact he’s one of the few that we think could actually pull off the characters.

4) Joel Edgerton

This actor has more than proved he’s a Hollywood heavyweight. With roles like ‘black mass’ and ‘The Gift’, reflecting that he can play a tormented soul working on the fringe of society. Fully encapsulating the lone wolf element of Wolverine, the role that really brings him to the forefront is that of ‘Colin’ in ‘Warrior’. He showed that he can not only bulk up to an obscene degree but also that even the nicest of guys can be a badass. It’s pretty much sure that if he is to slip into Logan’s shoes, then we would get a character just as likely to reflect on past pains as he is to snap a man into half.

3) Richard Armitage

You might know him for his towering performance as the short statured Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit trilogy. But what showed that he could easily channel the flawed hero archetype is his work on the small screen and that is where he really shines. He fluctuated between sinister and sympathetic as Guy of Gisborne and Robin Hood and was downright terrifying as Francis Dolarhyde in ‘Hannibal’. As far as portraying men with shattered like, he’s trying to contain their inner monsters, he has quite the extensive list of qualifications and we’d be more than happy for him to let Wolverine out of the cage.

2) Tom Hardy

This man has brought all roles he has ever portrayed to life and put his own stellar spin on each of these real-life and fictional icons and I feel that his take on the Wolverine would be no different. Look no further than the ‘Dark Knight Rises’ and ‘Warrior’ where he broke all kinds of bones. Of course he’s got the charm to match and seeing Tom Hardy with a pair of adamantium claws would be a pretty terrific epic!

1) Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman still is Wolverine. Might sound a let down? Well..it’s just that I’m not prepared to see my favourite actor from giving up the crown just yet. For over a decade, he’s been tearing bad guys apart and setting the trend for other superheroes to follow. He is one of the few people we have to thank for the current explosion of quality superhero films and it’s almost criminal to have to see him go right as the jar is beginning to peak, especially now that Deadpool has finally entered the arena.

Thus the claws aren’t meant to come in for one last time! We need them to hit out for more and entertain us as they have been doing for past decade. Perhaps someone from the list above mentioned, will still continue to fill the shoes of the legendary superhero! For, the claws are never meant to be down and will sprout out at any moment!

In Love With My Best Friend

In Love With My Best Friend

According to Hindi movies girls always fall in love with the right guy, their kind of guy, but reality is not always this veridical, we don’t always fall for the hero. Or may be the hero doesn’t seem like a hero. Even when heroine falls for the villain kind of guy, he changes the very course of his life just to be with the heroine. Eternal love huh, but does this happen in real life? I would totally disagree, or maybe I am genetically mutant.

“We don’t choose who we fall in love with; neither we have the capability to decipher what is right and what is wrong.”

When we fell in love with someone their flaws became inconspicuous and we are only able to see the optimism in the person, which makes it even more inconceivable for us to prevent our self from falling for them.

We fall in love with the person who is all right and all wrong at the same time, and you know you love them except sometimes they drive you completely insane; no one can explain it. And the reason is that love is perplexing, because it is love if it didn’t have hurdles then what will be the point?

In Love With My Best FriendThis is exactly what happened with me, after being best friends with him for more than two years, we went a little further. We both knew this for a while but never had the courage to actually tell the other person, it was just that the feelings have been there but actually saying the words would make it all the more real. Which we both weren’t ready for!!

Now when I look back I can’t seem to decide if that exceptional trip was the best trip I ever had, or maybe not. It was the best because those were the days when he and I had a chance to be with each other, without any disturbance from anyone or anything. We weren’t alone; we were with another couple, so giving them privacy was a very good way to get privacy our self.

In Love With My Best Friend

The moments that we spent their will be the moments I will always cherish my entire life, I guess he will too. Holding his hands, being in his arms, getting pampered, softness of his lips, warmth of his body and his fragrance, will be certain things I will never lose hold off.

Those were the most memorable days of my entire life experience not that that I had much, but once you came close to one another, it becomes really difficult to actually go back to what we always were- BEST FRIENDS.

In Love With My Best Friend

Just because we are friends and we know each other to the very core, we love each other to the maximum limits possible, and have been intimate with each other, don’t mean we can carry our relationship. As “two wrongs don’t make a right”, two emotionally deprived people can’t say together.

It’s not like we didn’t loved each other before going on the vacation, it was just that we were never single at the same time. We did have a longing for each other since a long time, but we were just suppressing it. Somehow we thought that it will spoil everything between us, we were too good as friends that we didn’t wanted anything to plunder that between us, even- LOVE.

So that was how I got to the consummation that may be the time spent on the trip deteriorated what little we had between us, because it was so difficult on being friends and impossible to be in a relationship. “But few days spent with the love of your life are far greater then living in oblivion”. And thus I will never be able to decipher if what happened was good or not, but whatever it was, they were the most splendiferous days of my entire being. After all what’s their not to like, every girl likes affection, love, pampering from the person they love. I had that for two complete days, only to realize that I will never have it again in my entire life.

Yes, being in love with the one person you entrusted with all your secrets can be the greatest thing you can ever have in your lifetime. But you just know when it’s not meant to be, and there is no point in trying. The same was the case with us; we came to a point together only to go back the distance our separate ways. We were always there for each other in the time of crisis, and now when we are in the most fucked up situation ever possible, we had to get out of the situation on our own.

This all wasn’t easy for us, but we had to do this we didn’t had any choice. If we would have gone with what we felt at that moment, it might have turned into the most disastrous thing ever possible or maybe not but it would have deterred the most precious thing that we both cared for our- FRIENDSHIP.

In Love With My Best Friend

“A guy and a girl can be just friends, but at one point or another they will fall for each other, may be temporarily, may be at the wrong time, may be too late or may be forever. May be it was just temporary for us. Period.”

Jammu – Story that Needs to be Told

0

I am from Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. I have been living outside of my city for years now. But what I have experienced in the past few years has definitely been an eye-opener. People outside of J&K consider Jammu and Kashmir to be the same cities. I have been answering questions as simple as “Does it snow in Jammu?” and as intense as “How bad is the situation back in Jammu?”

It hurts me too much. So, I guessed, it’s only fitting if we put out the truth for everyone to know. We all deserve clarity.

Is this what we have become? Presuming the condition of a state half of us have never even been to? I agree it is a human tendency to assume things based on any knowledge they gather about a situation but isn’t being curious to gain full knowledge about a topic, also a human tendency?

We see an article about a celebrity’s pregnancy and we’re googling names that fit the baby. A cricketer tweeted about being on dinner – the media interviews the restaurant staff to know what he’s eating. Everything and anything that has nothing to do with the common man’s life is being shown and talked about. But what about the more important stuff? What about the houses burnt in Bengal or the situation in Jammu and Kashmir? Does anyone know the entire story? Does anyone even bother knowing what parts of the state are being even remotely affected? Is anyone curious enough to know in which district does the epicenter lie?

People only know what the media shows and that is how it has always been. Of course we rely on media, it’s our source of information to distant parts of the world. But believing that what we are being shown is the entire truth is idiocy.

A lot happens what we know nothing about. A lot happens that the media does not bother telecasting. Hence, we are told half the story and the rest half is left to our imaginations. To give a brief example, how many of you believe that Jammu is in the same condition as is in Kashmir? How many of you know that Jammu has been peaceful all this time? The tricolor has never been used as a washcloth in Jammu. Jammu does not see a curfew as we speak. The riots in Kashmir have not reached Jammu.

We don’t know the whole story, we rely blindly on what is being told to us. Assuming a state has completely given into something that is destroying its integrity is mindless. Curiosity is a must in today’s world. It’s high time we use it for the right reasons.
