Mirza Ghalib ki Haveli

0
mirza galib

Doesn’t the hustle-bustle of Chandni Chowk excite you? It does right. It comes out and shines for the dancing charade of people. Despite having a crowd face, it still estranges itself from the monotony of city life. You enter. You see. You observe and you believe the colorful pretense it offers. It is that point where one can move towards different religious roads from and can come back again if it seems futile a journey. In short, an escape for enthusiasts and a home for weary souls.

But have you ever tried to unveil that colorful mask? Let us shift our focus to a little left, a little beyond. See through these bangles. Just another step away from these floral garments.

mirjaTake a long walk. Into the dark alleys of Ballimaran. Towards the engrossed meanders in Gali Qasim, and witness this unknown yet really existing structure. Indeed, Ghalib ki Haveli. How awful is to witness such a peace, a silence amidst the bells!

Mirza Ghalib is one of the greatest Urdu poets in this world. He had spent most of his life in this haveli. In fact, till this date, its aura stretches hands towards all the Urdu poetry lovers and demands an exploration. The most shattering thing about it being absent from the gaze of people clearly shows that Urdu poetry no longer pleases us.

mirja-galibNow, Let us foreground all the hidden dimensions of this structure. The haveli has turned into a museum for the local and foreign tourists. The absolute relief is its free entry. You may witness a caretaker sitting at the very gate, who you can totally rely upon.

Upon entering, the aromatic Urdu poetry surely will penetrate your soul with rejoicing. It leads to a room where you can find a Ghalib’s statue in the middle. One of the side walls has his clothes hung up and the other holds the pictures of his beautiful excerpts. A long piece of wood has been tied to the sides of the walls for light work. It has got so many pigeons sitting upon it, having their ‘softgoods‘ echoing among the silence.

This room leads to the corridor where Ghalib must have spent his teenage days. The blemished walls on sides incorporate the pictures of his writings and his life as a poet, as a person. One of the pictures captures his dainty yet unacknowledged days of ‘Mushairas’ and ‘Mehfils‘. It also provides an outlook of his being involved with a courtesan, that he claimed to love in one of his memoirs:
“There are times even now when the memory of her charming ways come back to me and I shall not forget her death as long as I live.”

mirja-kOne can witness all his manuscripts of Urdu and Persian poetry, being protected under the glass frames.

On the other side of the corridor, there are some compartments hidden behind curtains. These help us discover his ways of living. A statue of his sitting in a relaxed position having a hookah says a lot about his being an alcoholic. There is a marble game that he used to play during his leisure time along with a shelf that has some of his published books.

Once Ghalib had said:

“Today none buys my verse’s wine, that it may grow in age
My poetry will win the world’s acclain when I am gone.”
(Taken from Ralph Russell’s Ghalib: A self portrait)

This last wish of his still remains unfulfilled. A visit to this place not only will make him exist in this world but also his poetry will live forever.

So, Give your travel book a new place and discover, Mirza Ghalib ki Haveli. This would definitely give this silent structure, some voice…

Nusrat- Story of a Free-spirit

0
spring equinox

With one hand on her chin and the other resting on her lap, she listened so carefully to the man describing his problems. He said, “My wife left me for something I never did, I always took care of my children, I even got her everything she wanted but she still left me. How could she do that to me”? He kept talking about his problems and she kept listening eagerly. After the man had stopped crying, she consoled him and offered him a tissue. She said, “Everything will be fine”.

Nusrat Ali Khan. That was the name written on the board which was placed very tidily on her desk, along with every other property of hers. The colleague had just left her desk after an hour of crying and complaining about his life, that had not been going well. Nusrat was a middle-aged, Muslim women. She had been working for the power department for more than 2 months now. She wore a headscarf which would cover most of her forehead. Nusrat had a slim body except for her eyes. Her eyes were always swollen but nobody ever thought she cried, not because she was a soul that laughed all the time, but no one ever really thought she had something to cry about, that is what her face suggested. That’s why everyone came to talk about their problems to Nusrat. That’s human nature. We talk about sadness to a person who never seems sad. Her colleagues didn’t really know her as much as she knew everyone. When she was asked about why she hadn’t married she had just looked away and said nothing.People just thought she was a secretive person, but never hesitated to share their secrets with her because she was trustworthy.

She was wearing a yellow colored salwar kameez with a white border. She never wore jewelry, except for the one ring on her little finger. One of Nusrat’s colleague who was very senior, came up to her and asked, “Don’t you ever get tired of hearing all those sad stories? You shouldn’t be listening to these sad people dear. You don’t want all that negativity in your life, you do have a long way to go.“ Nusrat smiled very gently and hummed in agreement, in a very soft voice. The senior woman had gone back to her desk but her words remained on Nusrat’s mind. The words echoed in her ear “You have a long way to go” and on her leather chair, everything flashed inside her mind.

She had been standing in the kitchen when she got the call from her husband. When she picked it up, she heard a voice that was unknown to her.
“Who am I speaking to ?” the voice asked. “Who are you ?” replied Nusrat in a surprised tone. “I am Ahmed. I have this phone from a man who had just been in an accident. He was taken to the hospital. Can I know who I am speaking to?” said the voice.

When she reached the hospital she already knew everything because she had felt something painful in her heart, and when lovers have pain in their hearts, the pain is never wrong. He had died on spot, and she had lost him.

She was a widow now and she lived with a big family of her husband’s. Her mother in law was a beautiful lady and she also happened to be Nusrat’s mother’s sister. She had married her cousin whom she had fallen in love with. Luckily her family had shown her mercy for falling in love because the boy was from their religion and from their own family as well. The old woman loved her niece-cum-daughter-in-law dearly and she had supported her when they found out her two children had cancer. The elder one was 9 years old and the younger one was soon to be 6. Both Nusrat’s daughters were being treated and she was always on the side of their beds, holding their hands. On the day before her death, her youngest daughter had given her a small ring for safe keeping. She said, ” Mama, it’s too loose on my finger now, keep it on yours till I get fat again”. So she wore it on her little finger.

muslim-girl-praying

Nusrat kept praying to God, praying that she would be able to keep them. Somehow her prayers never flew out of the hospital roof and she lost them.

Her father in law was a man of his pride and ego. After the death of his wife he had been getting irritated with everything around the house and when someone from inside the family had told him that his youngest daughter in law has been roaming in the cities of Srinagar with some unfamiliar man, it was just an icing on the cake for his temper. He couldn’t afford a woman with such a character, fooling around and spoiling his name in the streets. After all, he was the man who followed religion. The good wishes of the family had even told him that taking the kids to the hospital was just an excuse for Nusrat to meet her new “lover boy”. Oh! How she had begged and how he had dragged her out of the house. ” You stay out of my sight you characterless soul. You ate my grandchildren, you ate my son. I won’t let you spoil my name too” he said, each word was accompanied with a blow. “Where will I live? You are my family!” she cried. And she had lost them too.

After the rumor spread like any other rumor in a small city, her parents disowned her. It’s almost funny the way people let go of hands when they feel the dirt on it. Nusrat rented an apartment and never left it for almost a year. Nusrat hadn’t eaten for a whole week. She survived on the nails of her fingers and toes which sounds gross but ask a person with a broken heart he’ll tell you how it fills up a stomach. She sat on the bed and never slept on it. When there were no more nails to chew on, she pulled her hair. One by One. One by one, she pulled every strand of her hair. Some she kept for her daughters and some for her husband. She pulled her hair until she had none left.  One day she woke up and saw her baldness in the mirror and I am not talking about her head, but her soul. She knew she had gone bald inside. Her eyes were swollen and never got back their own shape. the little ring on her finger had found a permanent place and she never took it off.

Nusrat got a job after a year of mourning in the apartment. It was time for her to mourn in public. She got a job and hundreds of scarves in bright colors. While the words of her colleague echoed in her ear, all this flashed inside her brain. She smiled and whispered to herself.
“Everything will be fine.”

That Moment of Departing

0
aceacdcdbebbfede

It is the most painful moment of your life when your loved ones go away from you very suddenly. You would have not even thought that this can happen and suddenly the day appears in front of you when that person comes and says you I’m leaving.

Now it’s very hard for me to pen it down the same situation.

The day still flashes out in my memory when we had met. That beautiful lovely morning sharp at 8:45 a.m. I find him waiting for me at the main gate. It was a very unexpected situation for me. I was shocked and surprised at that moment couldn’t think of how to react. But somewhere I was very happy deep inside my heart because someone whom I had never expected, had done that. Because the day before only we had actually started speaking to each other properly. But after that day we became really close friends and yet we are and hope to be the same in future too.

As days passed by our bond became more and more strong and we had started sharing almost everything about each other’s life, future plans and we had also made few plans for ourselves to accomplish in future.

But now those plans don’t have any hopes of getting fulfilled, it just remained in words, tears are rolling down my eyes while saying these.

He is going away from here to start his new journey in a new city.

It’s not that I’m not happy for him but I had never expected him to depart from here so soon and so sudden where I’m not even having a prepared mindset for accepting the fact.

I wish I can stop him from going, I wish I could tell him all these. Tell him not to go and again not leave me alone like before. I don’t know how shall I express my feelings. Suddenly I become very upset whenever this scenario comes in front of my eyes and comes to my mind. I see everything becoming dark around me. Cannot find any hopes any way of stopping him rather than becoming helpless and watching him go.

After coming to this city this was the first time I had got such a good, trustworthy and close friend. Who actually use to care for me truly and from the heart without any expectations.

I don’t know if I can ever meet him again in my life like this. And share such beautiful moments with him again. Spending time with him was like being in heavens. That peace of mind, that happiness everything used to be there. I can never forget the moments spent with him throughout my life.

That Moment of DepartingEveryday my mind and my heart counts the days that are left for us to be together and now only two more days to go and my friend will leave from here and all I will have is his memory.

My eyes get filled with tears thinking of that day and that moment when he will go, the actual day of his going. The feeling makes me weak from within.

It would not have been the same if I had hopes of meeting him again but it is very hardly possible in our case. The fact is I cannot think of it because somewhere deep down my heart I know it is never going to happen and we are never going to meet again and have the same moments.

dima_goroziya / PixabayWhenever I ask him ‘can we ever meet again like this, can we ever share the same moments together??’ he always says with a smile in his face ‘yes we can, maybe I cannot come at that moment itself but I will definitely come and we will definitely meet’ but the harsh truth is perhaps we cannot and forever we cannot meet and that is known to him as well. He says all these just to stop me from crying.

Here I end it because beyond this I cannot write anything more. And yes my dear friend if we meet again with you, you will see me writing my next article again about us. I will be missing your presence a lot, that place of our meeting and that evening tea with you. Hope to have the same moments very soon as you said…!!!

The Rider

rider

Imagine yourself pushing against the wind, feeling the thump and making love with it…kissing away the slight drizzle and enjoying the chilliness. Moving ahead and nowhere to go and yet keep riding…just changing the gears and shifting the speed, with the debonair yet keeping it safe…this is called bikers first love…

The way a rider explores a road cannot be explained by anyone else. Maybe you must be having friends who are total maniacs and obsessed with automobiles, especially bikes. Yes, the one who may ignore a hot chick for a while to get a good look on a bike passing by. Who has the detailed information on mechanics of every bike just by looking at it? So have you gone on a ride with them, I’m sure it will be worth an experience…speed and shivers at a time. If you are scared of that deathly road and strong winds then you must be yelling at him after the ride ends…also thanking God that you are alive. Wink. Wink.

veenu-biker-17Going on a road trip with their love is their ultimate motto, exploring the surrounding. Whenever you see someone riding their bike slowly along the corner side of the road. Then surely that person is lost in some deep thoughts about his future and obviously about his bike. This kind of people doesn’t like anything which doesn’t include speed or aggression. They don’t want anything to be easy going, they can’t simply adjust in a laid back surrounding. They may seem to be lazy but when they are out on a ride then their hyperactivity may go to insane levels.

Whenever they feel depressed or let down, they just put on their helmets, kick starts the wildness and let go things beyond. This single ride can motivate them and bring them back to life, as it gives them ample amount of space and time to think and analyze the matter. They may forget their wife or girlfriend’s birthday but they would never forget the servicing date of their beast. They may forget to have food but the petrol level never goes down. Yes, this is their life and they have chosen it.

RiderWhenever it comes to their wheels, they get over protective and are highly possessive about it. The person may buy new automobiles but if he is a true rider, then he must have still preserved his first junkie bike. He may show it off proudly saying this is the one who taught me many lessons of life as it has been a special part of me. The society may find it difficult to accept the maniacs but they can make wonders by those wheels. This relationship between a living being and a non-living thing may sound absurd to normal people but for bikers, I’m sure this article would portray their life.

Dedicated to all those riders out there. Be safe and enjoy every journey…

Popular elements of science fiction

Science fiction (SF) is a genre growing in popularity through both novels and movies. Even though it has a very small target group, it manages to satisfy and impress everyone within that target group. Here are a few subgenres that are pretty commonly addressed in SF.

  • Time travel

parallel-universe-traveller-feat-e1444181796279This is one of the most interesting topics in SF. Any script based on time travel must be well built and must be consistent without loopholes. The grandfather paradox is the classic topic often touched upon in time travel and never manages to disappoint the one reading the story or viewing the film. A topic rich with endless possibilities and consequences, this sure is the most popularly known, intriguing subgenre of science fiction.

  • Space opera

science-fiction1Bored of living on planet earth? This is adventure science fiction set mainly or entirely in outer space or on sometimes distant planets. Space opera gives you a feel of what you can expect about life in other planets. Space exploration because of a rotting and slowly dying planet earth sounds like a highly probable setting of such stories. Just as in these stories how the planet slowly dies, this field of science fiction as well, hasn’t been doing any good lately, constantly overshadowed by vibrant and energetic genres that make space opera look too simple. These are the kind of stories that can be read/watched once, with no thoughts to take back home. Simple subgenre and easily understandable.

  • Superhuman

supermanIt is obvious that superhero movies are the ones that have the greatest peer group. The subgenre that is easiest to write also has endless possibilities to attribute content to the script. These are often termed as low-grade science fiction as they are not built up upon proper theories. They are much famous as comics and superhero movies. These stories usually focus on the alienation that these beings feel as well as society’s reaction to them. This subgenre is closely interconnected with another popular subgenre: Biopunk. The main underlying theme within these stories is the attempt to change the human body and engineer humans for specific purposes through enhancements in genetic and molecular makeups. Many examples of this subgenre include subjects such as human experimentation, the misuse of biotechnology and synthetic biotechnology.

  • Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic

post-apocalyptic-churchThe human civilization is coming to an end because of war, pandemic, astronomic impact, ecological disaster, or some other general disaster. This is the cliché setting for an apocalypse. The introduction of zombies seems to be a popular choice for such plots as it combines science fiction with horror. Not a fan of movies or books? Apocalyptic science fiction is quite popular in the field of gaming too. Post-apocalypse deals with how the humans struggle to start a civilization soon after an apocalypse the reason for which remains hidden most of the time.

  • Modern science fiction

Think out of the box by putting a cat in the box. This line summarizes this subgenre. A large variety of concepts emerging from existing theories in quantum mechanics form a basis for the development of such stories. Schrodinger’s cat coupled with Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle squeezes the mind of the well-educated public. ‘Life-changing’: people call it because it makes them question reality and transports them to an uncertain world which doesn’t have a science rulebook to follow. Parallel universes, another intriguing concept forms the other part of this subgenre. A single universe diverges into many from every point where a decision has to be made. These concepts applied to various situations in life gives us a story to remember and cherish.

Healthcare and technology

Healthcare and technology

In his last days, Steve jobs, one of the greatest visionary to have walked on this world told Isaacson(his biographer) that the next revolution is going to be healthcare. That was in 2011. Here we are in 2016 and now if I just fall ill, I can easily talk to my doc about the app and my medicine gets delivered at my doors the very next day. Yes. There is no doubt that the healthcare revolution has started but my only concern is what form is it going to take.

It could either be a beautiful relationship between health and technology or it could turn like an arranged marriage that screws up both sides. What I mean is that there are apps that have started giving free consultations and even highly discounted medicines. It may sound good but it’s just going to ruin the whole profession.

Human perception is very changeable, for eg if tomorrow we read a news that gold is just like any other metal with very limited usage, you will see it selling cheaper than aluminum. It may sound strange but this is how the consensus works. Once you decrease the value of something it will never go up. Every professional needs to keep increasing his knowledge in order to innovate new ideas and that comes at a price. Why would any professional work if he knows at the end all he is going to get is a thank you.

But it’s not all bad. There are companies that are building an artificial intelligence app that can suggest you treatment options based on your symptoms. I bet the day is not far when your smartphone phone will scan you and let you know there is small stone developing in your kidneys and you need to get it operated ..what a cool world would that be!!!!

All we can hope for Is that there must be a company which is working hard to make it a reality and when they do ..we hope the bozos haven’t ruined the whole market with cheap apps with tons of problems.

Mistakes

drinking-water

  1. Drinking water while standing

    – Most of us drink water while standing in the kitchen or when we are out hanging with friends or even randomly just anywhere. Even in the wildest of your dreams you could never have thought how immensely dangerous the consequences can be in the long run. Drinking water while standing makes the movement of water through the organs brisk and rapid. It flows at such great speed that it doesn’t filter the harmful particles and carries it along only to deposit it in the lower organs of your body like kidney or bladder. It can cause stones to develop in the kidney and cause a lifelong stomach and heart problems. It can also cause incurable knee pains. Although it might take several years but when that happens, it will become difficult for a doctor to help you.

  2. Long hours in-between food intake

The work culture and tough life of the working populace make it difficult for them to keep a check on the timely intake of food. Even if they eat healthily, it doesn’t work and at times causes severe stomach ache or a headache. The reason is simple. No matter how healthy you eat if you cannot eat something at an interval of two to three hours, it is bound to cause problems. You will gain weight in spite of eating less and it will also cause gastric issues. On the other hand, if you eat at an interval of 3-4 hours, even if it is something very light, you will lose weight as a result of the thermogenic effect of food.

  3. Taking milk empty stomach

If milk is the first thing you are taking in the morning then it is advised that you take it with a toast, a biscuit, a fruit or anything solid. Lest, it can also lead to stomach disorders.

FIVE TECHNOLOGICAL INVENTIONS THAT HARM SOCIETY

0

Our personal life is highly dependent on technology. With its advancement over the years, the role and impact of technology in our lives has also changed. The way we live, the way we travel and the way we learn has undergone so many changes with this technological advancement.

Here we will discuss five different technologies whose overuse can cause much harm.

MOBILE PHONE, I-PAD, I-PHONE:

iconic-mobile-phones

Mobile phones, I-pads, and I-phones play a huge role as far as technological advancement is concerned. It is needless to say that these names come first when we discuss the harm that technology causes. We isolate ourselves by walking around with our I-pads or by staring at the screens of our latest mobile devices even when we are around other people. The overuse of these devices lead to unhealthy sleeping habits and thus, hearing and eye-sight problems. Studies have observed that it even reduces our lifespan. Isolated people lose the ability to read body language.

COMPUTER, LAPTOP, AND The INTERNET:

These are indeed, things that we can’t live without, in our daily lives. But the overuse of these technologies can cause only more harm than good. Children waste a precious amount of their time on gaming and surfing the internet, which will eventually make them lazy. The improper use of the internet can also make them victims of cyber bullying. The constant streaming of violence in video games, televisions, and YouTube causes people to become desensitized to atrocities that happen in real life as well. If in earlier times, electricity had been used only for the purpose of night lighting, with the advent of technology, it is used at all times, to keep one’s gadget running.

LEATHER TECHNOLOGY:

leather-technology

The Chinese and Indians are world leaders in this technology.  We demand leather products – shoes, bags, wallets, belts and the like, without ever thinking about the negative of it.  The skins of domestic and wild animals like goat, lamb, buffalo, deer, ostrich and snake are used to make such products. Sometimes animals are even poached and killed illegally for this purpose. Thus it breaks our ecosystem.

NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY:

Nuclear technology provides us with different things which include electricity and the fuel which is used in submarines and weapons, but the aftermath of it is pollution of different kinds (eutrophication and radioactive waste). We still remember the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during the Second World War. Nuclear technology can cause harm that can last up to different generations – even after five decades of the incident, children born in those places are born with physical defects.

PLASTIC AND POLY-PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY:

Many empty blue and green water bottles. Shallow DOF.

This is a technology that is most widely used. A sea change in building technology arrived in the 1950s with what is known as ‘The Age of Plastic’. From mobile phones to bottles of medicines, nowadays plastic is used to make even the most trivial of things. The harmful effect of it is that carcinogenic neurotoxins and hormone disruptive chemicals are the standard ingredients and waste products of plastic production and these find their way into our ecology through the water.

Concluding, we can say that any technology which is used judiciously is useful. Overuse leads to harm.

Look at you, gorgeous young lady eh!” Zoya hated herself for this but she went weak on her knees and her heart was beating frantically, she felt like sixteen again. Shekhar was the face which had troubled her all her life, he had those eyes which disturbed her dreams quite often, he had the smile which always gave birth to thousand butterflies in her stomach. Why does he have to be so disturbingly handsome, in fact, he looked a lot more handsome now, and sexy too. Furiously she reprimanded herself such idiotic thoughts.

As he sat across him, she couldn’t help but lose herself in those dark embers behind the glasses. They were engaged in a normal discussion like who is doing what, family and hobbies, from the surface everything looked very calm but Zoya’s heart was doing a somersault, it felt as if she had gone back in time and she was the teenager looking at her hero with stars in her eyes. Soon, the coffee finished and it was time to part.

As she got up to leave, she blurted, “Mind if we become friends on Facebook?” God that was so childish, Shekhar gave her a very curious look, she had no idea what he was thinking at that time about her. He took out the smartphone from his pocket, punched on the screen and said, “There! Friend request sent.” Sheepishly, she also took out her phone and said, “Accepted.” Zoya had no idea what future had in store for her. Shekhar was the guy she had a major crush on which always remained unreciprocated and he is the one responsible for all her childish miseries because he had captured her heart way back in time and much to her horror, Zoya realized that she still felt the same for him. He was the reason why she always accused her boyfriends every time she had a break-up. His being disturbingly good and alarmingly gentlemanlike was the reason all the other boys looked like buffoons to her.

On her way back home, she cursed herself, she mocked animatedly, “Mind if we become friends on Facebook?” Gawd! That’s so old school, I should have asked him for his number.

Shekhar on his way back could not help but think about Zoya, her mesmerizing smile, those intelligent eyes, wavy hair cascading down her waist. The best thing about her has she had no idea how beautiful she was, had it been the case she wouldn’t have dressed in a pair of torn jeans and a T-Shirt which was way too lose for her medium size. Unconsciously, he took out his phone and went to her profile, and started browsing her photos. She was a beauty and in some photos, she looked drop dead gorgeous but she always shied away from all the compliments blaming on makeup and camera. She hardly had any idea how many of the men on her friends’ list passed subtle comments expressing their interests in her. She was either too smart to handle so many admirers so very indifferently or too naïve to realize their feelings for her. Either way, she was unique and truly admirable.

As he flipped through her posts, he couldn’t help but notice that she was a very creative soul. She sketched the misery, joy, hustle bustle of life in a very simple yet heartwarming manner. His phone rang, it was a tipoff of some scoop. He asked his driver to take a U-turn and drove towards his studio instead of heading home. The next few hours went like a whirlwind, he got really engrossed with his time, doing research, interviewing the people involved. He also sent out the field journalist for the first-hand information regarding the new twist in the hunger strike of the University students over the molestation of one of their students by the Youth President of the ruling party. The new twist in the tale was, the local leader of the ruling party was planning to apply force to make the students succumb. Shekhar and his team informed the police beforehand and they had the situation much under control and now Shekhar was to tighten the noose around the neck of the ruling party until they devised a plan to serve justice.

She logged into Skype to see if he was still online, she was two hours late, she thought he must have gotten busy with his office work. She logged in to see a few missed calls from him and a voice message stating how much he missed her. No sooner did she finish with his texts and voice message, she had an incoming video call from him. She picked up the phone and was taken aback by a crowd of people who had captured her screen and all were smiling at her.

She was literally bowled over, he wished her right at 12 a.m IST. After he cut the cake, he waved plane tickets to her. He was holding two in both hands. He asked her to pick any of the two. She chose the one in his right hand, he said, “Damn! You just missed out a foreign trip. You are such an old school girl. You want the guy to cross seven seas to meet you.” Zoya was undergoing the myriad of emotions, it was too much for her to handle in just one day.

As Zoya prepared to sleep, she decided to give her 100% to this relationship, her heart wanted to check out the profile of Shekhar but decided against it. She decided it was about time she moved on, moreover, it was nothing more than a childhood infatuation, she knew nothing about that man except the things that were telecasted on TV.  Farhan was flying down to her city or rather her country next week, she had to apply for the leave because she wanted to give all her time to him. It was not just her time which she intended to give to Farhan but all her love and loyalty too.
