start up culture in India

0
startupIndia

There was a time when every youngster ambition for life was securing a good job and lead a smooth life. But, young generation’s perspective towards making right career choice has been changed with the changing time. Today’s youth wants to take risks, wants to fail, wants to retry, wants to explore because today’s youth wants to LEARN.

This attitude towards learning has contributed largely to the growing craze of start up culture in India.

The government on its part is also launching several new policies to aid the young entrepreneurs. People are resigning from their high paying jobs just for the sake of start up. They want to be their own bosses. They are coming forward with new and innovative ideas.

Start up culture is for those who want to work unconventional. If you are a 9 to 5 sort of guy, start up is not your cup of tea. You better stick with your conventional job.

Unconventional is not the only word for start ups, it also contains a high risk factor. You may rock the world with your fresh innovation or you may end up losing all of the investments you put in your start up. Even if you are working for a start up company being run by someone other than you, the risk factor doesn’t lose its impact on you. When you work for a start up company you should always be ready to face the ‘hired this moment fired that moment’ situation. Start ups involve risk of failing anytime and their revenues can fall of at the drop of hat. So be prepared before entering into the world of start up.

One certain thing about start ups is that you get to learn a lot from it. You never stop learning here. On the other hand, working in a conventional office does not offer much scope for learning. You need to use the skills you already possess at your regular job.

Pay is another point that counts. Most start up employers do not offer very handsome pay. If you have responsibilities to take care of or any sort of debt that you have to pay immediately then a more stable job should be your option.

Besides all of the above things, there is one more major aspect associated with it. That aspect is brand name. Now think about people’s reaction towards hearing an IBM employee versus a Start up guy.

If you have already slept over considering these issues and still determined to give it a try then you surely belong to start up culture. Go and explore the world of start up, there is no stopping for you. Good luck!

Emergence of positivity

Positive Sunshine
Positive Sunshine

You must be thinking, why I have relate ‘positivity’ to ’emergence’. Emergency word is used when any sudden action is needed. Positivity is your view, which you indulge into your life to make it away from all the odds. In anybody’s life ,”EMERGENT POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR ” can take your life to a different level. It acts like a “sanjeevani booti”, when nothing seems to be right.

Daily Affirmations, Improve Life, Power of Positivity. Young Woman smiling arms raised up, enjoy
Daily Affirmations, Improve Life, Power of Positivity. Young Woman smiling arms raised up, enjoy

We all have good or bad times. We are cheerful, happy & excited; when we are going through the good times. But, when the bad times comes into play , very few of us are able to cope with it. Everything just gets mess up. Sometimes we start to lose our hope totally. Study shows in the past years, patient going under depression has increased in a high number. Adults and even school children are committing suicide .Yes, of course it should not happen. Now, this emergence of positivity comes into play. If you learn how to handle it , it just puts you out from all your sorrows so smoothly.

Sheela, 21 year old girl. She suffered from a deadly disease AIDS. Yes, she was shocked, when she heard it for first time from the doctor. But she showed the amazing point of view to the society. She used to do all her daily routine work in the same way. She used to study, play, go to college, had fun with friends, go for the movie. She did not let anything change. She did not let her memorize that she had deadly disease. Daily at morning, she is used to say to herself that she is totally fit and fine. She made her realize that she had two options, either to live her life happily or to live her life like hell. She chose the happier one. Yes, she knew that she was going to die but she also knew that one has to die at last . If for her it’s early, then what is so sad in it. She acquired “emergence of positivity” into her, which made the tougher one into easier one . A simple story of this girl makes us to think there is a lot to be happy and to see the positive views of life.

If you will start to think and feel all the positive vibrations around you, I am sure you will find many reasons to stay happy. The reason could be your pen, your books, your mobile, it could be anything. It is just a game of your mind, how your mind takes or treats even any non-living object. Can I take your mobile for two days???? Oh gosh!! What I have asked. Hahaha, don’t worry I am not going to do that .

A two rupee coin may be is not so valuable for the one who has crore in his account but is diamond for the small child who is waiting for it at the platform from 3 hours. It is just the parameter of importance which you give to different things. If you value for your parents, a girl or a boy, you love them unconditionally expecting nothing from them. You never misuse or disrespect them.

If you are not able to crack any entrance exam, manipulating excuses and blaming others is not the solution. It is important to believe in yourself. You can and you will. You have to see a positive view of yours. You have to think wiser. You should correct all the faults and start that journey again with new energy. Then see, how this “emergence of positivity” in you adds up all the small ones to make the larger one for your entire life.

Things that cause insomnia

Tossing and turning whole night is nobody’s favorite hobby. Waking up cranky is the last thing we want in the morning. But, if you are facing these issues regularly in your life, beware!!!! You might be suffering from Insomnia. Not everyone is lucky enough to get a full eight hours sleep. Usually there are two types of insomnia, Acute insomnia & Chronic insomnia. The type of insomnia is determined by the length of its occurrence. If you are facing sleep disorders for a short time like one or two nights, it can be termed as short term (acute) insomnia. If the problem persists more than three nights a week for over a month, it is the chronic case of insomnia.

It can be primary insomnia or secondary one. When your sleep problems are not induced directly by any kind of health condition or medication, this is called primary insomnia.

When some health disorder or any kind of intake of medications is the cause of sleep problem, this is called secondary insomnia.

Knowing the root cause of such kind of problem is the first thing you can use to treat sleep deprivation.

We will discuss some of the major causes of this dreadful disorder. All you have to do is, figuring out the main reason behind it and determining the course of action accordingly.

Cause

There can be more than one reason of not having a good night sleep.

Stress: It is one of biggest reason of causing insomnia. Stress harm us in multiple ways. Sometimes, stress is caused by overthinking and night. Besides, it seems like night welcomes our stupid thoughts more than anything else.

Try doing some breathing exercises before heading to bed, you will feel relaxed and then it would be easier to go to your dreamland.

Bathing: We all love to take a soothing warm bath after the tiresome chorus of day. But, taking a bath just before going to the bed might be a big hurdle in your way to a sound sleep. Our body temperature rises after taking a hot bath and takes some time to cool down to its normal range. So, taking a bath at least 30 minutes to one hour before the bed is advisable.

Caffeine: Sipping on tea, coffee or any other caffeinated beverage and treating yourself with your favorite chocolate in evening hours can cost you a sweet sleep. Caffeine is known to have stimulating properties. It makes really hard to sleep. Caffeine can have an impact on our body system for more than 10-12 hours. So, if you think drinking these beverages in the afternoon or evening is okay then let me inform you, it’s not at all okay for your sleep.

Gadgets: Yes, you heard it right. Our beloved gadgets which we can not even imagine our lives without are also the enemies of our sleep. You must avoid using any kind of gadget before the bed. Put your TV , laptop, mobile phone etc off at least one hour before going to bed.

Avoid repeating any of the habit that may induce insomnia like situation in your life and enjoy dreamy dreams.

Mystery world of Dreams

0
dream

Dreams are the most amazing part of human life. No one has even seen a dream awake. The most imaginary world exists in dreams. Everyone has their definition of dream. We’re all captivated by our dreams, but most of us don’t really know what they stand for. The irony of the situation is that the rest of us can’t even recall our dreams.

Experts suggest that keeping a closer eye on your dreams can in fact help you improve your life.

This is what exactly when you go to sleep. In the first 90 minutes of sleep, you go through deepening stages ranging from light sleep to deep sleep. Upon entering REM sleep, heart rate and breathing become irregular eyes move rapidly and brain activity rises toward the same level as when you’re awake. That’s when you do about 80 percent of your active dreaming and when dreams are most dramatic. You’ll go through this sleep cycle three to five times during the night. During sleep the rest of the body essentially becomes paralyzed. It’s the nature’s way of making sure you don’t act out your dreams, whether it’s repeatedly kicking your spouse or jumping off the bed and hurting yourself. Dreams can help you tap into the emotional issues in your waking life. On the other, they’re also a way for your brain to catalog the events of the day.

dream

Dreams can be dangerous sometimes. Research suggests that up to 8 percent of adults suffer from chronic nightmares, like drowning or being chased, at least once a week. Most of them are caused by stress. Bad dreams are result of mind’s way of processing stress and figuring out how to deal with it in future. Dreams seems to be so real because your brain is just as active when you dream as when you’re awake. Some parts of the brain like the occipital lobe which processes images and the amygdala which regulates emotions are even more active when dreaming. This is why a dream can seem so vivid and evoke so much emotion that you wake up happy or sad.

Dream catcher at sunset

It’s a false sense of familiarity created in your mind by previously glimpsing certain aspects of the object or situation. Your brain is just tricking you into thinking that you’ve seen it before. Anxiety is the most common emotion to experience while dreaming. It kind of feels like a nightmare but you feel more stressed than scared. These types of dreams could be due to either a childhood trauma that you have experienced in the past to a conflict that you’re dealing with in the present.

Are really Marriages are made in Heaven

0
indian marriage
rajeshkoiri007 / Pixabay

People always refer marriage as a life time event that bond two people. They always refer that marriages are made in heaven. When told Marriages are made in Heaven few people don’t agree with it.

No Marriage is made in heaven rather happen on earth with a lot of work and expenditure. Marriages are rather made in heart and mind. The one made in the heart rust with time and the one made in the mind lack intimacy and the ones made in both heart and mind last. Heaven comes nowhere comes in it. Marriage is a book which initial chapters has a poetry and the remaining all are prose.

Two people to live together love is only not enough. It needs more than love to make a happy living of two unknown individuals. Love is definitely not enough for a successful marriage. If only love is enough for a relationship work most people wouldn’t have the problems with their marriage. Many seems to see marriage as a union in which both people have a hold on each other that strips away the others freedom. The truth is marriage does not mean the two of you are no longer free and one binds the other.

A lot of us think that marrying the one they love and imagine a life filled with endless romance, passion and closeness that will automatically always be there. A healthy marriage filled with love, passion and closeness is possible.

Lot of people with incompatible views get married with hope that once they are married things will get better. Truth is that nobody is exactly has the same views and that is not required in order to have a good relationship and marriage.

If a two successful people marry, their egos may collide in a fight that just can’t be won. When ego is lost limit is lost. You become infinite, kind, beautiful. Indifferent views always arises one or the other day.

A happy marriage is in the hands of both husband and wife. Romance has to be kept alive in a successful marriage. Should feel happiness in presence of one another. As the years go by, build shared experiences and find ways to add spice to your life. Never take the relationship for granted. Balance between work and family acknowledging that both contribute to one’s happiness and the strength of their relationship. Accept each other, without trying to change each other. The deepest craving of human nature is the need to be appreciated as is. Love is not just living own life, but also sharing it and this requires constant forgiveness. It’s making a million mistakes and turning them into learning experiences. Love is patience, optimism, and sometimes it’s a simple hug when there is nothing left to say.

Why you must write

0

There are some moments in life when you just can’t say anything. Your throat is giggling but you can’t speak. Your palm is wet, but same …you can’t speak. Your inner soul is threatening you with the fact that if you will not say now then you will be losing this, but as usual you can’t do it. Than just after this, your brain and heart speak together that you should write. You should just pick up a pen and a paper and just write. Yes it will take a little bit of time but just write. Just put all your heart on that paper. Don’t be in your circle of comfort. Hold that pen and come in your circle of courage. It will give you immense pleasure. And then you start writing.

Now the basic question arises. Why you should write? Benefits of writing go beyond our imagination and vocabulary. No matter what the quality you propose for your writing, what topic you choose, eventually it increases you mental and psychological strength. When you start writing about you emotional upheavals, you can evaluate your own life. Writing expresses who you are as an individual or as a human. It is portable and permanent yet reliable. It helps you move easily among facts, inferences and ideas of your own and copied. Waiting until you know precisely what it is you want to say or to begin writing is low-productivity, writing strategy. You must write in order to learn what it is you want to say, no matter how much you are confident about yourself when you start. Then, of course, the writing must be revised with mind. The main difference between verbal and written communication is that you may not have words to say something but while writing you can end that hesitation. Writing is the most promising and appreciable mode of communication. What you think, you feel, you observe, all that you can write.

Most of people  who starts writing has a common phobia and that irrational and overwhelming phobia of writing is called graphophobia.  People often doubt their ability to write or they even fear that would it be possible for completing the writing. This may be due to lack of self esteem in you or you have lack of ideas. But believe it or not ,  you are not the one who is suffering from this. Worrying that the writing you are doing is unimportant or thinking that what would be the audiences’ feedback is a fast track to derailing your own productivity. Just do it. By allowing ourselves and forcing ourselves, to produce writing that we know will not make it into a final product is very essential for our own efficiency. Actually Writing is an act that denies to expect efficiency  and productivity  .We make new connections, learn to express what we want to say, even make new discoveries, generate new ideas.

A very often heard line from our elders is “think before you say”. But the same thing is not necessarily applicable for writing. You can write anything. Yes of course think before you show it to anyone.  But writing is not bounded by showing. Through writing you can express. Either you express it to you or anybody else. But you can express. The writing you produce may even not be published to public or a specific, but that process is essential for the production of knowledge, no matter what our ideas are,  no matter what form our writing takes.
