How to overcome insecurity and stay positive

overcome

We have all heard that happiness is just a state of mind. Everyone knows this but rarely do we condition our mind to stay happy and positive. Most of us fight problems like negativity and insecurities in our everyday lives. Every person in this world has some form of insecurity, like how some people may feel that they do not look good, some feel they are not smart enough and some even feel they are not rich or successful enough. However the main deterrent to a confident and positive attitude in life is insecurity. Only if you feel confident and positive in life will you be able to overcome failure and embrace success. Successful people are confident people. To develop a sense of confidence and positivity one has to get rid of insecure feelings. This is however easier said than done.motivation

Insecurity is a very tricky emotion. Most of the people who suffer from it don’t even know that it exists it manifests itself in many ways that are quite different from each other. Emotions like Ego, Jealousy, envy and sometimes even overconfidence may be a sign of covering up of some deep seeded insecurity that is affecting their life. Some people harbor feeling of insecurity and negativity for so long that they do not know how to live without that emotion. It is a very tough task to overcome one’s insecurity. There are many ways it can affect a person’s life both physically and mentally. Long term insecurity which is severe can lead to depression and other related troubles like blood pressure and fatigue.

  1. The first step to getting over one’s insecurity is identifying and admitting to yourself that you have a problem of negativity.
  2. It is extremely important to know the cause of this insecurity is it a self-manifestation of feelings or rejection of others, or people around you finding faults with you. If it is because of people around you then it is better to keep away from those people and be surrounded by a group of positive and cheerful friends and family.
  3. Confide in your close circle about this trouble that is affecting you and ask for their help to overcome it. Tell them to give you positive encouragement and boost you in right direction. It is important that they do not remind you of the thing that is affecting you for example if you are insecure about your looks it is important that people around you do not pass negative comments on the particular subject.
  4. If your insecurity is something that can be changed for example if you are insecure about your weight then you can try to lose some weight in order to feel better. However it is important to remember that some things cannot be changed and we must accept it.
  5. Learn to accept yourself as you are. This is the most important thing about overcoming insecurity. You need to know that you are exceptional and different and there is no one like you. Treat other people with respect and they will do the same to you. Feel confident and proud about yourself and your successes. Your failures are merely a sidetrack and believe that one day you will succeed. Belief in yourself is the only thing that can help you succeed.

The Way We Treat Others Is A Reflection Of How We Treat Our Own selves!

It is a true fact!

We all are like magnets. We choose to do things which we want to do. Our choices in life revolve around those things which we always want to choose.  We often tend to attract those people in our lives who resemble our own selves. It is also true how we treat other people shows how we treat our own selves.

What is inside a Pyramid?

What is inside a Pyramid?

Pyramids are the largest structures on earth. When we think about Egypt the only think that comes into our mind are the Pyramids. A Pyramid outer surface is triangular in shape and its bottom can be trilateral, quadrilateral or polygon shape. The greatest thing of pyramids is that how humans with no technology or man power can built such a largest structure on earth that can last for thousands of years.

11

Till date scientists are not able to find out how pyramids are constructed. It’s still a mystery till date what exactly present inside a pyramid. In1922, Archeologist named Carter had stumbled on the exquisitely preserved tomb of Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun. He discovered King Tut’s treasures that has become a worldwide sensation. It’s not only the King was buried inside the chamber of pyramid but a lot of servants with great amount of food and water was present inside those chambers. Scientists still really don’t know much about the pyramid’s interiors.

12

Ben Carson, a US Presidential Candidate, has done a research on pyramid, in his final document he has mentioned that pyramids are built for storing grains. This theory results on only few chambers that he visited they are lot more chambers that are not accessible to any human till date and no one has no idea what exactly present behind those chambers.

12

CyArk, a non-profit organization recently began to digitally preserve over 500 world heritage sites. They have started their work from the Brandenburg Gate to the Ziggurat in Iraq using non-invasive lasers. The current technology will capture 3D images without the need to lay a finger on them. A technology that provides a lot of information without touching a product.

13

If we talk about the Great Pyramid itself, in Giza. It’s a huge structure, built more than 3,000 years ago with more than two million blocks of stone, this Great Pyramid is the biggest ancient pyramid in the world. It stands at 139m that means 450ft tall, though it would have been slightly taller when first constructed. Only few chambers are accessible inside it, such as the great gallery and the king’s and queen’s chambers.

14

International team of architects and scientists used the latest infrared thermography to detect unexpected temperature differences in the stones of the Great Pyramid. This in turn has raised more questions than answers. Warmer temperatures on certain stones detected this could be an indication of tunnels where airflow is present. However, there’s no easy way of knowing the scientists involved in the research of pyramid are under strict orders not to make invasive excavations. Scanning and Sensor technologies are the main tools for pyramid investigators in years to come. Infrared analysis done from satellite  has even helped locate buried pyramids.

Church of 40000 corpses

Church of 40000 corpses

Church is place where Christians offer their prayers to the lord. There is an amusing church in Czech Republic which is decorated with 40000 skeletons. Travelers with a macabre will have an exciting day at this gruesome chapel which is decorated with skeleton chandeliers, hipbone chalices and skull bunting.

30

It all started in 1278, a man who is the head of an abbey of monks, usually called as Abbot. A abbot from Sedlec visited a small town, about 80km from Prague, made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and brought some soil from crucifixion site. Upon his return the monk has spread across the cemetery of the local church. As word of the sacred sand spread throughout Bohemia the cemetery became one of most popular place. This tradition continued throughout the 14th Century. There was a Black Death plague spread throughout Europe which killed nearly 30,000 plague victims from Central Europe , all of them were buried here.

31

A war broke out between 1419 to 1434, Roman Catholic crusades against Bohemian reformers. Due to the war, large destruction occurred to Sedlec and the nearby city of Kutna Hora. These attacks left 10,000 more dead, all buried in the Sedlec cemetery.

33

Both these incidents left 40000 corpses in Sedlec cemetery. In 15th century, many human bones that were buried used to make way for a Gothic church, and were stacked and placed in pyramids in a new church located underneath a place of worship. These were undisturbed till 1870, then a woodcarver was hired to make something beauty from the piles of bones.

34

He has made fantastic formations with the pile of bones throughout the chapel. Chains of threaded skulls, chalices constructed with hipbones and femurs, to a family crest created in tribute to Bohemian aristocratic Schwarzenberg’s family, hired the carver back in the 19th Century to make it more amazing. Chapel’s centerpiece is the amazing chandelier that has every bone in the human body at least once, with skulls staring outward at the end of each seven chandelier arms stationed for an eternal watch.

35

The church is closed only on Christmas Eve and its open throughout the year for public.

The Lake at the End of the World

The Lake at the End of the World

Have you ever thought to see the day ahead of present day or ever thought to live one or two days behind the rest of the world. To see world ahead of time we need to be in America or China or Russia or Japan to experience the advance in technology and a day ahead of present. But if you want to experience the wonderful past, a day or two behind the rest of the world you should visit Slovenia.

Planina Zajamniki Alpine Meadow

Barely one hour from Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana, is Lake Bohinj, a wonderful lake on earth for time to be still. A day or two is manageable how about a long lag, it would be worse. For centuries, the villages around the Lake were cut off from the rest of the country by poor roads and vertiginous terrain and these are clustered in the shadow of the Julian Alps. In order to travel to Ukanc, a hamlet on the far side of the lake Bohinj, whose name translates to “end of the world” and this could possibly take weeks.

22

In 1906 during the early days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire tunnels were made through the mountain side and railway lines were added connecting the northern mining town of Jesenice. While the Bohinj region became slightly less remote as it spent decades as a part of communist Yugoslavia becoming isolated from the rest of Europe politically. Despite of Slovenia’s independence in 1991 and entry into the Eurozone in 2007, a deep connection to the past and a slower-paced life remains the same.

AJ3XN4 The church at Bitjne near lake Bohinj stands out in stark beauty against the surrounding mountains. Image shot 2006. Exact date unknown.

Scattered villages, wooden houses and open haylofts of Bohinj’s sparse and it clearly shows that the Austro Hungarian Empire has never fallen. Shepherds and cowherds still head to the top of Mount Vogel to graze their livestock. “A mystery” church at the edge of the lake by the milk colored Church of St. John the Baptist. No evidence of how old the church was but some say it was built in 15th century.

24

Across the bank from the church stands the slender, a dark bronze statue of Zlatorog, or The Golden Horn, the magical stag believed to guard the ridges present around the lake. In the afternoon light, it almost looks real.

It was the sort of place, where one can forget any other such places exist on earth. Agatha Christie used to come to this place. But she never set any of her works here. She said it was too beautiful for a place to set any murders.

How We Design Our Days Shapes Up Our Life!

0
How We Design Our Days Shapes Up Our Life !

To look broadly our days are actually mini versions of our entire life. As we pass each day spending hours we actually become the creator of an entire year. Our life gets shaped by us just depending on how we design our daily lives. Powerful thought!

Childhood-Life-is-Beautiful-Art-Wallpaper

What we do on this very day is actually helping us make a lifetime. The words we speak to others, the thoughts we make inside us, the food, the things we use, the service we give and the love and warmth we spend on a daily basis helps shaping up our own destiny. Hence, there is really nothing called a bad day. Every day we spend is equally important and equally contributing to make our future.

Our social norms, financial achievements and power games have created discrimination in the society. We have bifurcated our own selves into different classes of people depending on the work we do and depending on the financial status we portray. We forget the fact there is no such thing called rich or poor. Just the same way there is no such thing like a good day or a bad day.

life

We all are born to be great in our own lives. Each one of us is equally powerful to choose something for us. To make a choice this very day can lead to a giant outcome in the future. However, since the world around us stops from this kind of a thought process it is important we nurture and raise such thoughts inside us. It is like working out on a daily basis to maintain fitness and shape. It does not happen in one day. Every day working out for 30 minutes and a good healthy diet can lead to a good physique within few months. Same is the scenario when we design our days.

Add a little color and a little brushstroke to each of your day. It soon fills up with vibrance and gives us an amazingly beautiful painting in the end. We fail in our lives because we feel rather the world makes us feel that we are no longer in control of our lives. It is not so.

We see great people, achievers and success all around us and think why we are not they. The fact is every one of us is gifted to reach the heights of success. The only difference between a really successful person and one who is not is that the former takes initiatives to take steps each day to shape up the future. The formula is really simple. Turn day’s efficiently into weeks, weeks to months, months to years and years to an entire lifetime.

Teenage years are the most stressful years of anyone’s life. Hormonal changes and other difficulties add to our never ending problems with our mind and body growth. It is also the time when boys and girls start noticing and getting conscious around each other. Teenage girls always develop their first crush in that age and they try everything they can to get noticed. It is usually that time that girls start applying make-up regularly. The trouble is at that age due to inexperience and some media influences girls tend to go overboard with their make-up. Teenage girls do not recognize what suits them and what does not at that early age. They need to have suitable guidance to make the right fashion and make up choices The trouble is applying too much make up makes you look a little clownish. The art of applying make-up is to enhance your good features and hide your trouble areas. Teenage girls always have to focus on certain points while applying make-up. Here are few tips to help improve your looks for the better.

  • Eyes all the way

A girl’s most important feature is her eyes. It is the eye that gets noticed first in someone’s face so pay all attention to it. The important thing is to highlight your eyes apply a dark color liner and always wear mascara. It is not really important to apply eye shadow everyday for every event. Unless it is a special event it is better to avoid eye shadow. Also never apply a bright lipstick with a very heavy eye make-up it tends to give a very unattractive appearance altogether.

  • The Acne problem

Acne is a usual difficulty that most teenage girls face. Almost all of these girls try to conceal it with a regular make-up using a foundation which is not always right. A foundation usually dims the natural glow of a person. A teenage girl has a very effective natural glow which needs to show through naturally. Concealer is always the best choice for these girls. Thee right concealer paired with moisturizer works wonders to hide the acne. Applying the Concealer right is quite a trick. Never rub it all over the skin with your hands take a little in one finger and apply it gently over the skin. Never circle the skin with concealer. Also if you suffer from a very serious case of acne problem you might have some skin allergy or issue you are not aware of consult a proper dermatologist to get it checked out properly.

  • Hair color and styling

There is nothing that is better than natural hair. You may feel coloring your hair will make you more attractive or trying or different new styles are better. Yet nothing can beat your natural hair if you maintain your hair well it will automatically start to look good. Buy the right Shampoo and always use a proper conditioner to go with it. It is always better to get your hair oiled up an hour before a wash. Also wash your hair at least 2 times a week. Use shampoos that suit your hair rather than go by suggestion. It is very important to know that all the Make at home style dyes are never a good choice. If you do decide to dye your hair consult a proper stylist and do it under supervision and not spoil your hair.

  • Don’t waste on cheap beauty products

It is always tough to get quality beauty products in teenage years as you will usually live in parent’s pocket money, but do not buy cheap and inexpensive products just to get them. It is better not to apply any make up than to apply make-up that might spoil your skin. If you do want to buy something take an advice of someone who has had experience.

The Importance of Reading Habits to Kids

0

Remember those days when kids where young they used to sit near their grandmother and listen to old tales. Sometimes some grannies or mothers used to read from thick books to the children to make them sleep or eat.

Now people usually plunk their kids in front of the television or the computer to feed them. In the earlier days early mornings for most fathers and mothers used to begin with their newspapers, late night’s ended with books before bed. With the advent of technology and the media people nowadays have lost their passion for reading. All books have been replaced by tabs and all newspapers have been replaced by computers. The anticipation and the excitement of reading a new book is all but gone for many people. In reading, when one page leads to another, the reader discovers a unique kind of job, but people have forgotten that feeling now.

reading

Reading is such an important hobby that the slow death of it is very saddening. Of course there are still a few faithful readers left but even those who read just pick up easy breezy reads that really do not require any mental capabilities to be applied on which just makes it a mindless read.

Kids hardly spend any time reading any books other than their school syllabus these days. There are so many other distractions that reading a book never comes as the first priority for elders let alone kids. Also watching Television and playing games require much less mental activity and seems to be far more stimulating than reading a book.  However if a kid discovers the pleasures of reading at a early age it can alter his entire life for the better.

Books stimulate and excite the mind. It opens the eyes to the world around us in a more fascinating way. Books can become a man’s best friend if you really read a good book well. There are plenty of good books out there but not enough readers. Though technology is sort of affecting the reading habits adversely the advent of kindle and other advancements have helped to bring in new readers to the community.

A good book is like a gift that keeps of giving. Reading a new book can lift someone’s sprit up and give him hope and promise in life. There is an immense need for parents to develop reading habits for their kids at a very early age. Here are a few tips on how to develop good reading habits to kids at early age.

Read Stories Regularly

Read stories and short passages to him whenever there is time, especially while feeding him and before bedtime. This helps build imagination, language skills, and a natural love for books from an early age.

Create a Reading Space

Create a special reading space for him when he is old enough. Encourage him to spend at least half an hour there every day reading something he enjoys. Over time, he will naturally develop a passion for reading.

Introduce Different Types of Books

Do not encourage him to read only school books. Introduce him to storybooks, adventure books, picture books, biographies, and other interesting reading materials so he can explore the wider world of books.

Lead by Example

Children learn by observing their parents. Make sure he sees you reading regularly, because your habits will strongly influence his interest in reading.

Limit Screen Time

Do not allow him to spend too much time watching television or playing video games. Set clear limits for these activities and follow them consistently to encourage healthier habits and more time for reading and learning.

Clear difference between successful and failure people

Clear difference between successful and failure people

Clear difference between successful and failure people

Successful people to accept change.

The unsuccessful people are afraid. “Embrace Change is one of the hardest things a person can do. With the rapidly changing world and acceleration technology at a rapid pace, it is imperative that we embrace these changes and adapt, rather than fear, and then deny or hide them, he said. Successful people are able to.

Successful people talk about ideas.

People say, unfortunate. Instead of gossiping about people – gets now here- successful people discussing ideas. “The exchange of ideas with others to make them better”.

Successful people take responsibility for their failures.

Unsuccessful people blame others. Really successful executives and business experience ups and downs in his life and career. But always they take responsibility for their failures. Blaming others does not solve anything. “It’s just demeaning to others and nothing good comes of it.”

Successful people give all the credit to another of his victories.

Unsuccessful people accept all credits from others. That people have their moments to shine motivates them to work harder and therefore makes you look better as a leader or teammate.

Successful people want others to succeed.

People who succumb secretly hoping that others fail. “When you have a successful company with a group of people, you all right” . The most successful people why they do not wish to disappear; they want their colleagues to succeed and grow.

Successful people constantly learn.

Unusual people fly by the seat of his pants. The only way to grow as a person, a professional and a leader never stops learning. “It may be a step above its competitors and become more flexible, because you know more.”If you fly in the pants safety could extend to the possibility of preventing him from learning (and growing!).”

Other key differences: Successful people radiate joy, to share data and information, and read every day, while people exude anger unsuccessfully to save the data and information, and watch TV all day.
