Top 10 Bollywood Horrors That Ended Up Horribly

0

A dark creepy room at the end of the corridor, which has been shut since years. And finally one tries to enter the room and he cites a woman clad in white sari yelling out for revenge, and this ends up with the breaking of hell upon the person. Where Hollywood Horrors portray real stories, Bollywood horrors are still struck to witchcraft and black magic, that makes no sense or thrill for the audience to watch them.

Here are a series of Top 10 Bollywood Horrors That Ended up horribly, where the film-makers have failed to match the standards of Hollywood movies.

  1. 13B

Titled as 13B in Hindi and Yavarum Nalam in Tamil, released in the year 2009, directed by Vikram Kumar, starring Madhavan and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles. The film is a psychological horror where Madhavan moves into his new apartment, 13B, with his family, which is followed by a series of inauspicious events like spoiling of milk, miscarriage of his wife and so on. These events were predicted beforehand as were casted by a TV channel, which always ended up in a climax. The channel casted a show which depicted each member of the family, who once had been killed. It all ends up in a mess when once again the milk is shown to be boiling perfectly. The events are vague and one finds it difficult to correlate the motion.

  1. Shaapit (2010)

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the Bollywood horror stars Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal in the lead roles. The horror drama focuses on Shweta’s marriage which is hindered by a curse cast on the family. The drama follows the same old path-line where the actor (Aditya) risks his life to break the spell with the aid of a professor and his friend, who ultimately dies. The absurd action sequels like Aditya jumping off from chairs to bring a book from the library, adds no sense.  The movie starts lifelessly and finally ends up adding no horror tag thus, leaving the viewers in a confused state.

  1. Phoonk 2 (2010)

Phoonk 2 movie poster

A sequel of the movie Phoonk, which portrays an evil colleague casting black magic on a family, who finally gets killed. Directed by Milind Gadagkar, starring Sudeep, Amruta and Ahsaas, Phoonk2 is quite predictable, as one can find the return of the dead evil spirit who got killed in the first part. The spirit finds its abode in a doll which is picked by the children of the house, and the grotesque killings began, where the woman of the house is possessed and is lately pushed from the roof resulting in her death. The movie tries to scare the audience by enormous effects used but its low-budget fails to thrill the box office.

  1. Haunted 3D

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, starring Mahaakshay Chakroborty and Twinkle Bajpai, the Bollywood drama is a difficult one to threaten the audience. With no tinge of reality, skipping from past to present and again present to past, the movie finds itself in a complete mess. It all starts when Mahaakshay moves into a haunted mansion and hears the mourning of a girl. He then takes up the responsibility to save the girl (Twinkle) and is so determined that the next moment finds himself in the era of the dead girl. The movie ends when the actor sets things in place from the past and returns to the present, only to be heartbroken to have lost the soul he had fell in love with. Cheers! And he suddenly finds a letter from the girl (Twinkle). The movie ends up drastically leaving the box office in a total mess.

  1. Horror Story (2013)

Inspired from Stephen King short story 1408, the bolly drama is directed by Ayush Raina and stars Karan Kundra, Radhika Menon in the lead roles. The film has a spooky opening where one finds Bikramjeet jumping off from the terrace of a deserted hotel Grandiose, which was previously used as a mental asylum. A bunch of friends gets to know about the same and decides to find out the reason behind the unexplained mystery. Previously warned by a worker, all of the members gets killed leaving Radhika Menon as the only survivor, who manages to destruct the evil spirit. The drama remains unexplained and fails to cope up with its spooky title.

  1. Ek Thi Dayaan (2013)

How can the door of hell open with the help of a lift? Mysterious, but director Kannan Iyer along-with star casts like Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, Konkana Sen Sharma and Kalki Koechlin made it all possible. The terror begins when Emraan Hashmi is hallucinated by the spirit of his dead sister. He seeks the help of a psychiatrist, who puts him under hypnosis to go back to the distant past. Finally Huma, Emraan’s girlfriend is found to be a witch. Apart from a weak storyline, irrelevant facts such as black magic, the centering of powers in a so called dyaans braid makes it baseless and a lot more tedious.

  1. 3 A.M

Directed by Vishal Mahadkar, starring Ranvijay Singh and Anindita Nayar in the lead roles. The motion depicts how Anindita is killed by evil spirits mysteriously on a visit to Rudra Mills. And just because of Mr.Roadies, who instigates her to go on the trip without the Holy Book of Gita. Absolutely vague! But the director makes us believe that nothing is impossible.

  1. Ragini MMS2 (2014)

An Indian erotic-horror drama directed by Bhushan Patel, starring Sunny Leone and Saahil Prem on the lead. The movie is a sequel of the first part, where the tape goes viral as shot by Ragini in the haunted house, who is then visited by Sunny in the part 2. But the meeting takes a horrible turn, when Ragini stabs herself to death. But Sunny takes the movie forward as promised in the haunted house and a series of haunted events are experienced by the crew, when finally Sunny is possessed by the spirit residing in the house. It all happens because of a rattle-toy as detected by one of the crew members, and eventually has the toy destroyed. The movie ends with the rocking of a chair which signifies the existence of the ghost. There are a few spooky moments but not a hair raising experience at all.

  1. Alone (2015)

Directed by Bhushan Patel, the film is a Thai remake, which was remade in 2011 in the South named Chaarulatha. The Bollywood version starring Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover. The Horror drama is all about two sisters, where both of them falls for the same boy (Karan). Bipasha managing double roles ended up unmanaged, when the movie failed to raise the hair of the audience. The movie is all about Bipasha having a threat that her dead twin sister is after her to snatch her husband, Karan, for whom she felt once. But the movie takes a turn when it is revealed that Sanjana is Anjana and vice versa. Confusing, and the director fails to convince us with those bad picks from Hollywood horrors. It is better to stay alone, than to watch alone for 3 hours long.

  1. Raaz Reboot (2016)

With the first part beating records, the standards of the Raaz sequel kept on deteriorating each year. Finally the sequel ends up with Raaz Reboot in the year 2016, directed by Vikram Bhatt, starring Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora in the lead roles. The movie has an abrupt start with Kriti and Gaurav returning to Romania after their marriage. The box office declares it being a complex plot, where Kriti experiences a series of supernatural events, when finally Emraan walks in and promises to set it all into place. The story juggles back to the past when Emraan began to reveal the past. And finally we get to know that Mr Hashmi is the evil spirit who torments the girl. Complex indeed. The movie tries to scare the audience with creepy stills, but the weak storyline fails once again.

Poor horror with funny approaches!!!

Mother is a sea of sacrifice

0

Her happiness matters to me

She is a sea of sacrifice

The strong one forever she remains

Nature named her “Mother”

Who is a ‘Mother’ ?

The one who struggles to keep you happy always?A human form of God who gave you birth?

The one who never says a No to anything you ask for?

The one who never expects anything in return from you?

She is even beyond all these.

“Mother is not just a person; she is a sea; a sea of emotions, sea of love, sea of care. I would say a Mother is a sea of sacrifice.”

A Mother is someone who took a 10 months long struggle to hear me cry for the first time.

Mother is someone who stood by me during my hard times and easy times.

Mother is someone who keeps her daughter happy. She is someone who would undergo any pain to keep her happy.

Mother you are a sea of sacrifice, you sacrifice everything for family, for me and yet you never give up on life for it giving you a tough time to cope with. You are life, a motivation, you indirectly teach me to keep family happy setting aside your own happiness. Mom you always indirectly tell “my happiness lies in all you family’s happiness”.

You work all day, at times you even work at midnight spending time on the laptop screen, I ask you why do you have to work so late straining yourself, and answer “to keep the family running, to educate you”.

Mom, though you teach me ‘family first’ how I hate you not take care of yourself but everyone around you.

I might have failed to be your daughter, but you have passed with flying colours being a ‘mother’. I am a proud daughter, because being a mom is not an easy job; and I salute you for that. I can never repay you for everything you did throughout this 21 years of life.

I would like to tell the whole world “My mother may not be the best in this world; but she is definitely the best I have ever known”.

I wish to be my mother’s daughter every time I reincarnate, I cannot afford to lose my mother at any point of my life. With this I promise to spend quality time with you.

So Mother, I propose to you

Will you be ‘my mother’ forever?

Say yes!! Yes!

I love you.

If any mother is reading this, thank you for being by your child throughout and prioritising family over yourself. If any Son/daughter is reading this, you definitely know what I meant throughout.

BACK TO SCHOOL-the golden period

0

“Sometimes, it’s better to bunk a class and enjoy with friends, because now, when I look back, marks never make me laugh, but memories do”  these beautiful words by our former prime minister DR.A.P.J Abdul Kalam are well said .Each and everyone in this world would have definitely missed their school journey in one or other way .

School life is one of the best lives for each and every individual. In the beginning, School is a jail, the cells are the classes and teachers are the security guard and WE ARE THE PRISONERS. Going to school in the morning is like hell for us .This hell becomes heaven when we met our friend in the bus. Bus is considered to be a shorter form of playground where we celebrate various festival like Holi ,Raksha bandhan etc. Bus is recognize as a place where sitting arrangement is according to  our class.

The next best part of school is the uniform .Uniform is acknowledged as identity of the school. Different school has different uniform. Perhaps most importantly, a uniform means students don’t have to worry about peer pressure when it comes to their clothes. When everyone is dressed the same, worrying about what you look like isn’t so important. There is no competition about being dressed in the latest trend, which would put a great deal of financial pressure on students and parents.

One thing that each and every one hates about school is the word HOMEWORK. Homework, or a homework assignment, is a set of tasks assigned to students by their teachers to be completed outside the class. There are negative and positive affect of H.W. But we all know H.W is beneficial for everybody as it help us to revise what we have learnt in school.

EXAM these four words can make anybody frightened .There is a lot of pressure on people to succeed in exams and sometimes this can begin to feel a little overwhelming.Unfortunately we don’t have a magic that can make exams go away. But the best way to succeed in exams is  start thinking positively about exams. By understanding what triggers you to feel stressed you can begin to identify unconscious perceptions that you hold and identify some super coping strategies to help you deal with these safely and quickly. By taking control you will feel empowered to manage the situation and this will improve your well-being and resilience.

The most remembered part of school life is RECESS .Recess or Break that comes after three or four period .But we started feeling hungry after second Period onward. Recess is symbol of Food and playground. The word Recess also remind me of school canteen .School canteen is considered as heaven for each and every children. School canteen provides us with various type of healthy and unhealthy food.  Canteen is also famous for its get together. Friends from different classes get in contact with each other only in canteen.

We all love going to picnic’s whether with our family or friends. But school picnic has different position in our life. A picnic is a short trip for pleasure to a beautiful place. Picnics add spice to our life. They provided the much sought after relief from our routine life. They refresh out tired nerves. Picnics give students a temporary relief from their studies. After enjoying a picnic, they feel fresh and take up their studies with renewed vigor.

Good friends are like star  you don’t always see them but you know  there are always there .We all have at least one school friend whose friendship is more than rest of the friends . Let’s face it; most parents want their kids to make friends at school. If we recall our own school days, we may well remember that school friends can also be the greatest source of problems and pain too

Life is all about learning. School life is but a preparation to face the challenges that the bigger school called world will offer us once we are out of our schools. The schools therefore extra great influence upon us. They shape our character, mold our mental attitudes and fashion the basic principles of life.

Ranchi – A Blend of Religion & Beauty

0

Jharkhand is the 28th state to our country which was formed on the 15th of November in the year 2000. It was initially a part of the state Bihar. Ranchi was declared as its capital city.

Ranchi is located in the southern part of Chota Nagpur plateau, which is the eastern section of the Deccan plateau. It is also known as the CITY OF WATERFALLS. It is a very beautiful place with a very cool climate condition. You can plan your trip to this beautiful place any time in the year but a trip during the winter defines its beauty more elegantly and magnificently.

A trip to this place is incomplete if you don’t travel to these places :

JAGANNATH TEMPLE

Ranchi - A Blend of Religion & Beauty

We all have heard of the famous Jagannath temple of Puri, Odisha but the one in Ranchi is the replica of this temple but on a small scale. It was built by the king of Barkagarh- Jagannathpur Thakur Ani Nath Shahdeo. It is located about 10 km from the main town on a small hillock. The view of the city from the top is breathtaking. The temple is open on all days from 5 am to 12 pm and then again from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Similar to the Rath Yatra in Puri, an annual fair cum Rath Yatra is held in the temple in the month of Aashaadha, attracting thousands of followers.

PAHARI MANDIR

Ranchi - A Blend of Religion & Beauty

The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Shiva. This temple is situated at an altitude of 2140 feet from the sea level. This temple has some relation with the freedom fighters of Ranchi. It is believed that the freedom fighters were hanged to death on this hill only, so the hill was also known as Phansi Tongri. The highest Indian flag adorns this hill.

The girl, in love, can tolerate anything but not your ignorance. Same is the cases with your boys. So always try your best to give priority to your partners. Common man!!! It’s your partner for god sake, not any puppet bought from the market. You need to make them feel special. So prioritize them. Your time is more valuable than a diamond ring for them; even though they will expect a diamond ring on their engagement but they will crave for your time for the whole life.

2.Intimacy Is Required

Yeah may be some couples wont like to jump into the bed at their first meet. But intimacy doesn’t at all mean ‘am dying to have sex’. It’s just spending some quality time with your partner like getting intimate is something that every couple would like to do. I still remember that touch of your partner which gives goose bumps are something which can’t be explained. So couples out there, just an advice-‘don’t let the intimacy between you, die’, if you want your relationship to go on and on forever.

This is not a proverb only; it plays a vital role in your relationship and am not kidding. Always try to be genuine and honest. Whatever the situation might be, just give the honest answer. Don’t ever fake it, like ever!!! Being honest saves a lot of upcoming harsh words coming towards you and runs the relationship smoothly.

4.Respect Your Partner

Yeah this is the most important thing in the relationship, respect. Respect is something which is must in a relationship. If you don’t respect your partners, then I guess you guys don’t know the value of the word called ‘love’. For getting a strong relationship you need to learn to respect your partners too.

6.Try To Remember Everything

Girls love it when you remember every detail about her. It’s not like remembering about the color of her lipstick or dress, details as in the food she loves, what she likes, dislikes, her birth date etc. Girls seriously appreciate this effort taken by their partners.

7.Share Their Interests

It’s necessary that you try to share their interest. It’s like showing interest to their interest. Watch their favorite TV series with them or going to watch cricket match to stadiums. But don’t kill your interests too. Just try to make their interest as ours.

8.Rather Than Complimenting, Complete Them

Every partner wants their partner to compliment them but compliment is not everything that they want. Try to complete them. Just be with them at every moment, may that be happiness or sad moments just try to be their soul for lifetime.
