Say No to Talaq-e-Bidat

Triple

Say “NO” to Patriarchal Nonsense!

Whenever political, social, or economic issues have had their origins rooted in religion, any attempt to question them, any step towards its termination, has always met with fiery backlashes by the self-proclaimed propagandists of religion. The banning of Triple talaq in one sitting or Talaq-e-bidat in India should have been an open and shut case. Around 21 or 22 Islamic nations have banned Talaq-e-bidat which also includes Islamic theocracies like Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and a few more.

So, the argument that many Muslim religious leaders and followers are putting forward is that the government of India cannot interfere in the beliefs, laws and functioning of any religion or as the Muslim Personal Law Board stated in an affidavit to Supreme Court “Personal laws of a community or religion cannot be re-written in the name of social reform” is totally and completely baseless. Had the banning had anything to do with religion, the Islamic theocracies would not have banned it. So, why is it so difficult to understand that the privilege enjoyed by only Muslim men to give Talaq-e-bidat falls under the discriminatory and gender-biased practices and that going against such practice does not amount to blasphemy? This is a gender issue and not a religious one.

Say No to Talaq-e-Bidat

Dear Philanderers- Stop using religion as your tool!

Some very shameful arguments against the banning of Talaq-e-bidat have been stated in the Supreme Court by the Muslim Personal Law Board. They said that if triple talaq is not allowed then a man could burn alive or murder his first wife in order to get rid of her and that “triple talaq ensures a lawfully wedded second wife instead of an illicit mistress.” This statement coming from them only serves to prove that the only reason such men do not want to abandon this law is because they want to continue their licentious and profligate habits and getting rid of them hurts!

When their self-made law gives them the license to practice such debauchery in the name of religion then why would they not sweat and bleed to let this continue. Of course women cannot give triple talaq to their husbands under this sham. That a law like this is favoured by Quran or has any religious testimony is implausible.

Time to be uncaged!

Say No to Talaq-e-Bidat

It is also very important to mention that no one from a different religion rose from bed one morning and decided to take this to the Supreme Court. It was a unanimous decision taken by around 91% of Muslim women in India who oppose and condemn this after having suffered over the years under the commonplace acceptance of patriarchy. They live in constant threat of being forsaken and thus, are always ready for terrible compromises. Instances have been recorded where women were divorced by their husbands on WhatsApp, on phone and even in their absence such that they didn’t even know that they have been divorced.

This unilateral divorce system is “un-Islamic” or “un-Quranic.” But when the religious seminaries sanction this law  themselves then the suffering women will be forced to seek the help of the government and the court, that being the only refuge. Moreover, when such laws of other religion that takes away the right of any citizen to live with dignity can come under the scrutiny of the Indian government and law board then why not this? The petition to bring this law under the Uniform Civil Code is the only means to bring justice. Those who do not have faith in the Islamic jurisprudence and Indian constitution will naturally oppose it.

The Malana Cream

THE MALANA CRÈME

The Malana Cream

Before going into the details of the subject of discussion here, we must first take a look at the place of its origin, which the title very explicitly states as Malana. Malana is a remote village which lies on the northern side slope of the Parvati Valley (located at about 12,000ft), in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

It is a land of its own myths and legends which characterizes the nature of the place and its people even now. The people of this place consider themselves descendants of Alexander the Great’s army men, who invaded India in 326BC and settled here. They worship Jamlu Devta, the one who is said to have driven the giant Rakshasa with his immense power. The Rakshasa, as they call him, however begged Jamlu Devta to let his language prevail in the land. Hence, the people of this land speak Kanashi, the language of the Rakshasa. Another fact of substance is that it is one of the oldest known democracies of the world. Their deity, Jamlu Devta also lies at the center of their well organized parliamentary system which they have retained by distancing themselves from the ways of the state and its administration.

A severe fire which broke out on the morning of 5th January, 2008 wiped out a major part of this village and took away with it many archival remains of the cultural heritage of the place. Modernity is still a distant dream as the place has limited interaction with the world beyond its periphery. Government interventions have been very unwelcomed here. The people even believe that it is because of their involvement, the social order is disrupted, the people of the village are being divided on party lines, and the wrath of Jamlu Devta is falling upon them in forms of calamities and hardships.

The Malana Cream

While none of the details stated above has contributed to our knowledge of Malana, one does recognize this place for the best hashish or cannabis in the world. Cannabis not only grows naturally in the valley, but is also cultivated on private lands and government/forest lands. The people of Malana had long been using its fiber for various purposes such as making ropes, making footwear or just consumption.  It is because of the hashish or charas that is renowned as the Malana Crème, the place has been and is being frequented by the hippies and youngsters. The people here accredit the foreigners for teaching them the art of rubbing the hashish to procure the crème from it. Now the families here earn a living by preparing the crème. Children are often retained on the land to rub the cream by their parents. Education is not prioritized as the people here consider it a breach of faith.

The Malana Cream

Entry of foreigners is not monitored. Given its remote geographical location it is very hard for the police to reach here and the international mafia has been successful in encouraging the people to grow hashish and smuggle it out to countries like Israel, Italy, Holland and some other Europeans company. It is so popular in the international market that even Nepalese hashish and other inferior quality hashish is sometimes sold under the banner of Malana Crème. In the past five years, over 70 foreigners have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and between April 1 and July 31, in the present year, a total 274 cases were registered with 320 people being arrested. The crème is also illegally transported to states like Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi and Goa.

Recently, a supplier from Malana was caught supplying the crème to some Delhi University students. Its popularity among the youth is a sign that we are on the verge of losing a generation to drugs.

The task of banning the cultivation of the hashish has been in force for a long time, since there had been a growing concern of drug abuse and illicit trade. In the process, the government had tried and is still trying to provide them with alternate sources of income such as rural tourism and home stay by engaging the local youth. An earlier attempt was to convince the locals to grow peas and pulses on their lands which failed drastically. Reasons being that the crops withered and also that it could never yield them as much money as growing hashish would. The locals blamed the government for not letting them grow the crops in their own manner while the state blamed the locals for the mismanagement of the crops. Whatever was the case, it was the people of Malana who suffered, who couldn’t save enough for the coming winter.

The Malana Cream

The incumbent Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh, who, during his third tenure in the office held the position that the Narcotics Drug needs to be reviewed to allow the growing of cannabis which is a part of the people’s tradition here and only banning hardcore narcotics and is presently actively involved in motivating the people to grow vegetables, flowers, and imported apple plants.

The result of such efforts is yet to be seen. But it is agreed that the international mafia is using the religion and belief of people at its best to continue the trade of the contraband. The intervention of the state in such a case has become more and more difficult. While the state is trying to eradicate the problem of drug abuse, the locals of Malana see it as their effort of deliberately disrupting their tradition and cultural values. It thus becomes a question of relationship between the state and the region, and in this case, the region which needs to compromise does not itself identify with the state.

To A 13 year Old

0
happy teens

To a 13 year old,

I am a 19 year old grandma and I am here to clear some things for you. I know love is in the air and every rumour is a daily invention but hang on as you are about to have a roller coaster ride. With your hormones juggling and identity at stake you can still save yourself from a lot of trouble. Some things are not as big as you think and some are not that useless. I am soon going to die out from this crazy teenage life so lend your ears (or eyes) to this grandma-

LOVE CAN HAPPEN A MILLION TIMES

To A 13 year Old

Well I cannot blame you for believing in chocolates, greeting cards and teddy bears. All romantic movies have told you about ‘the one’. Every Nicholas Sparks novel have successfully conditioned you to believe that love is something that lifts you up in the air, the first kiss needs to be under some moonlight, a conversation under the twilight sky is the definition of magic. It is true, love is everything. Love is the energy that fuels life and the only feeling chemically facilitated by nature. A person with no love to oneself and others is as good as dead but let me break this out for you- the symphony of ‘I love you’ does not matter if you or the other person does not know how to care and maintain those three words. These three words are very small but can be heavier than a truck! It is full with responsibilities and we are not able to take care of them because we do not know how to handle things with maturity. One learns to be mature when one experiences as he or she grows up. We assume the entire teenage is about finding ‘the one’ and after the eighth boyfriend one realises ‘the one’ does not exist. You can get attracted to many people a million times but it is when you are able to make the choice of maintaining the feeling and responsibilities and if the other person wants to do the same. So, there is no hurry. Take time to know what are the responsibilities needed and be a person that loves life and not just parts of it. Nothing attracts more than a happy person.

YOU ARE DIFFERENT AND DON’T BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT

To A 13 year Old

Knowingly or unknowingly you will ask this question to yourself ‘who am I?’ more than a zillion times and unfortunately many a times you may try to be a person who might just not be ‘you’. I have realized a big thing in my teenage life that the most beautiful thing about us is our uniqueness and it needs to be celebrated. I feel there is this urgency to feel really ‘cool’ about everything at this age. It is funny that being cool is no longer an adjective but a qualification to certify the achievement of the mental image of ‘you’. But who defines ‘cool’? Why can’t we give our own meaning to ‘being cool’? Believe me when I say you are cool when you do what you love and when you love yourself for being you. You can be a boy and you may like make-up, you can be a girl wanting to own a Rolls Royce and you may rock it even if you wear a salwaar kameez to a party. Remember that nothing can beat a confident walk and an honest smile.

NO MATTER WHAT, PARENTS WILL ALWAYS KNOW BETTER THAN YOU

To A 13 year Old

This might sound like a bummer but it is true. Slap me, peel me, cut off my ears but you simply cannot deny it. I am not saying that they are always right. I will unravel the secret for you- they are just too concerned right now because kyunki ma bhi kabhi bachi thi. Trust me even Harry Potter would be too concerned for his child even if he knew his son is brave enough to fight dementors like him. Parents cannot be friends all the time. Come on! Friends do not take the responsibility of feeding you, changing your diapers, getting you educated and evacuate you out of their private parts! They might be friendly but you are their responsibility and of course they will be concerned! Problems arise when there is improper communication not just from your side but from their side as well. You dressing up might mean that you have a boyfriend/girlfriend to them just as their small advice means insult to you. Oh this part is a storm as no party wills to take the first leap of understanding! But there will be calmness and stillness after the storm and there will be a happily ever after. Relax! Time heals everything. Nobody is wrong or right. As you will grow from teens to  –tys, they too will graduate from a teen’s mom/dad to a –tys’ mom/dad.

6 Places to visit in and around Sikkim

sikkim teesta

Tucked away in the lap of the Himalayas, Sikkim is a beautiful place to visit for all the nature lovers out there. With the clouds floating around you, the mist refreshing your mind and the sun rising from the valley, Sikkim is sure to leave you mesmerized and lost in all its beauty.

I had the pleasure of visiting Sikkim and West Bengal recently. Based on my experience, I’ve listed out the places you should definitely visit if you’re planning a trip to Sikkim:

1.GANGTOK

6 Places to visit in and around Sikkim

Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and inhabits a plethora of tourist spots. Whether you’re an adventure lover or someone who is looking for a tranquil site, Gangtok is the place for you. You can go paragliding in the valley or get an impeccable view of the valley and the city through the rope way. The mall road (M.G. Marg) is a great place to shop and eat while in Gangtok. There are waterfalls and viewpoints that you can visit too!

2.TSOMGO LAKE

6 Places to visit in and around Sikkim

Located 38 km away from Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake is a place you should not miss. It is a lake with beautiful blue water and clouds floating just above it. Situated 12,400 ft. above the sea level, it is one of the highest lakes in the world. You can stroll by the lake, feed the fish in the water and even catch a yak ride while you’re there! The lake is frozen during winter and is an absolute treat for the eyes.

3.NATHU LA PASS

6 Places to visit in and around Sikkim

Nathu La pass is one of the three main passes between India and China. It is situated at 14,300 ft. above the sea level and is a part of the prehistoric Silk Route. One needs to take a 52 km drive from Gangtok to reach here. The Indo-China border gates can be seen from here with both, the Indian and the Chinese soldiers guarding the border. However, one should be careful as the oxygen level is quite low and the temperature can drop dramatically at this height.

4.Namchi

6 Places to visit in and around Sikkim

Namchi is a 77 km drive from Gangtok and is mainly a pilgrimage centre for Buddhists. It’s main attractions are Char Dham, Ngadak Monastery, Ralong monastery and Rock garden. Siddheswara Dham or Char Dham, situated on a hill top attracts Hindu devotees in large numbers throughout the year and is undoubtedly the most visited place in Namchi. It comprises the replicas of four Dhams – Badrinath, Jagannath, Dwarka and Rameshwar.

5.Teesta river

6 Places to visit in and around Sikkim

Teesta river is a 309 km long river that flows through Sikkim. It is beautiful to look at during winters as it is nothing but frozen blue water. However, during rainy season, the river turns brown as it carries silt along with it as shown in the picture above. Tourists can enjoy river rafting and kayaking during summers.

6.Darjeeling

6 Places to visit in and around Sikkim

Darjeeling is a town in West Bengal with scenic views of the cloud filled valleys. It is known for its toy train ride and the famous Darjeeling tea. The mall road has a feel good atmosphere and a large number of shops where tourists can buy souvenirs to take home. Other places of attraction are Tiger Hill, Tea estates and Ghoom monastery.

A visit to these places is a good break from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you’re looking for some time to unwind, you know where to plan your next trip!

Educational Malpractice

0

Someone once said “Everyone is a genius”. I agree but if we will judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it would start believing that it is stupid. This is also not enough, these days schools make them climb down, run on fields, make them fly and they make them do everything except for swimming. A school is believed to be a pilgrimage but are they still so ? Turning thousands of kids into robots, are they still a place to learn? Do they realize how many students relate to that fish, who wants to swim but are unnecessarily forced to climb trees up and down.

Educational Malpractice

Every student is provided with a gift, a separate, a unique gift. But schools are the places where these gifts in them are killed, they are forced to think that they are stupid, believe that they are worthless. Well the time has come, no more excuses, I, on behalf of every student who is still wasting his time becoming a robot, accuse schools of killing creativity, individuality and at the end, the student.

Everything that we used in past is now completely modernized; be it the mobile phones, cars, houses and every thing that we look around except for that one thing “CLASSROOM”. Now ain’t that a shame? In literally more than a century nothing has changed. Yet these schools claim to prepare students for future. I want to ask them that seriously, are they preparing students for the future or for the past?

Students in schools are trained to work in factories which clearly explains why students are put in straight rows, nice and neat, they ask them to sit still, raise their hand if they want to speak, give them 15 minutes to eat, teaching them to compete and shockingly telling them even what to think and all this just to get a grade ‘A’. Yes grade ‘A’, a letter which determines quality product manufactured from the factory called “School”.

Educational Malpractice

Today we don’t need to make robot zombies. The world has progressed and now we need people who think creatively, independently, innovatively and critically. Scientists have confirmed that no two brains are the same. Then why are the teachings same for every student, the same way, giving this ‘one size fits all’ kind of crap. Taking an example: If a doctor would prescribe every patient the same medicine then the result is going to be tragic. When it comes to school this is exactly what happens; this “Educational Malpractice”, where a teacher stands in front of 20 students, each having different gifts, different needs, different strengths but are taught the same thing, the same way. Isn’t it horrific?

Now let’s be honest, a teacher has the most important job on the planet but still they are under paid. Well I believe that teachers should earn as much as doctors because if a doctor can cure the heart of that student, a teacher can reach out to that heart and can teach him to truly live. Teachers are often blamed but that is not a problem for many because they seem to work in a system without many options or rights. Curriculum is created by policy makers, many of them haven’t even taught even a single day in their entire life.

Educational Malpractice

When we are customizing cars, mobile phones, houses and everything around us then it is our duty to do the same for education; to upgrade it, to change it. Sure mathematics is important but not more than art or dance. Let’s give every gift an equal chance. I know this sounds like a dream but countries like Singapore and Finland are doing impressive things. They have shorter school days, teachers make a decent wage. They focus on collaboration instead of competition. There is no single solution but let’s get moving because while students are the 20% of our population, they are definitely 100% of our future. So let’s attend to their dreams and then there is no telling on what we can achieve. Do away with school spirit because that’s useless unless we’re working to bring the spirit out of each and every student; that should be our task. No more common core, instead let’s reach the core of every heart in every class.

“This is the world in which I believe, a world where fish, are no longer forced to climb trees.”

The Promise

New text message received:

Hey my princess I know you’re angry on me, but I’m so sorry as I couldn’t make up for our last meet. 🙁 But guess what I have a surprise for you as my posting is going to be around in our city, I’ll be coming home next week for your birthday.:)  Just don’t go mad at me this time, I promise we are meeting soon. Love, daddy <3

A week later she was excited as hell, she was on the seventh cloud not because it was her birthday within 2 days but her daddy was going to come by any moment. All her close friends, relatives and neighbours were invited. The room was decorated with hundreds of balloons of her choice. The music was on its peak, all were gone crazy, dancing and enjoying. But there she stood, trying so hard to hide chaos in her mind, keeping both her eyes on the door, with a smile. She was having mixed feelings of happiness and disappointment. Suddenly her thought breaks as she heard someone calling her name.

“Elena come here” she rushed with excitement towards her mommy as she thought there is some news about her dad. There was not just news alone, it had disaster along by which the tiny world of Elena got shattered.

The news channel was flashing with the headline: “There is a sudden attack on the Southern land border. Our 3 officers have lost their life and 2 are badly injured according to the sources till now. We got to know the names of the officers who are no more with us.” Something died within Elena when she heard the names of the martyrs. The ground beneath her feet slipped away. She was numb and traumatized.

A day after was her dad’s funeral. Holding her mom she cried a hell lot but couldn’t be helped because the loss is much more than that. After the end of the ceremony she was in her room surrounded by loneliness with her swollen wet eyes and thought,

“The most painful goodbyes are the one that are never said and never explained.”

The Promise

Next morning when she woke up it was her birthday. All things have turned out something unexpected and worst. She started imagining the scenarios what if things were normal as they were a day before yesterday, but the very next moment she came back to reality. With all her defeated hopes she was lying on the couch and suddenly the doorbell rang. There was someone at the door. “Elena, baby come down. There is a courier for you.” her mom yelled. In a confused state of mind she came down, received the courier and shut the door.

She was shocked when she saw the name of the sender, it was form her dad. Quickly she took off the wrap. Tears rolled down off her cheeks when she found the gift inside, her birthday gift, a doll with a pen-drive attached to it.

She quickly played the video inside it. She was mesmerized seeing her dad in it.

Dear Elena,

I’m sending you this video so that I won’t be failing you this time. I have broken lots of promises right from the start. Whether it was the promise to be on your PTA, or at sports day, the time you won an award or the time when you need me the most.  I know there is  an equal role of both the parents in a child’s life but my part has always been left unfulfilled and empty. But I’m sorry it’s my job to serve my nation first then my family.

Today there is some emergency on the border of Southern land, they need me there immediately. But you don’t worry I won’t be breaking my promise this time. I’m sending this gift so that you can feel my presence there even if I’m not around.  I know you might be amazed by seeing this gift but I remember the time when you were small you had a doll. With whom you used to share all your stuff whether you were happy, sad, angry, irritated, your secret wishes, everything and you used to feel like home with her. I never understood your bond with the doll but somehow it always ended up making you happy.  But then you grew up and now you have lost all interest from dolls. Now when life has turned up there will be lots of time when you will be lost and feel low but I want that my Elena should always fight and end up smiling. Elena, that little Elena is still there inside you, somewhere still waiting for you. Let’s go get her. Wish you happy returns of the day. God bless you, keep smiling 🙂 Cya.

The Promise

As the video ended she started crying and hugging her laptop she said, “Dad you have never let me down you didn’t break your Promise to be on my birthday. I wish I could have hugged you for the last time and I promise to be your little Elena once again.”

BOYCOTTING ‘MADE IN CHINA’ STIGMA

1
Untitled

Goods from China are banned from being bought or sold in Bihar since a decision was taken by a village court at Obra Panchayat in Aurangabad on 8th October, 2016. This decision was taken into the wake of China’s support of Pakistan on the recent Uri attack. The village court has also marked China, an enemy for its stance on Pakistan and Kashmir and passed an approval based hoard that will observe people punished in case they are found guilty. In such a case, a fine would be imposed. For the first time, such a harsh action has been taken in this eastern Indian state. Approximately 10,000 people reside in this village and this order is expected to affect the Vista of China, manufactured products in the region. This situation might weaken the economy of China. Around 24 shops in Obra were there that sell ‘Made in China’ products at present. The value raised around lakhs of rupees after the sell of Chinese products in the village during the festive season in 2015.

BOYCOTTING 'MADE IN CHINA' STIGMA

Most of the Chinese products includes toys, plastic products, fancy lights, decorative goods and gifts. Being cheaper than the ones made in India, these products are more popular in the rural areas of the country. Recently, Madhya Pradesh has put a ban on importing firecrackers  from various other countries.

BOYCOTTING 'MADE IN CHINA' STIGMA

Sellers of firecrackers say that people like to buy Chinese goods because of their cheap rates. But talking about the environmental aspect, they also point out that these firecrackers contain sulphur that tends to cause more pollution. Also revealed that buying and selling these products are illegal even in normal circumstances, but this time a ban has been imposed, looking at the present scenario of the country and their relations with China.

Delhi government too has stated to work hard to make sure that a ban on the sale of Chinese firecrackers is properly imposed during the festive season. Delhi Government has also admitted their previous defeat in imposing the prohibition properly and preventing the sale of these goods in spite of restrictions placed on them.

While one figures out the reasons behind such judgement, there are a few facets that have to be featured as well. Firstly, it is expected that before such major festivals which is celebrated by a huge majority in India, a decision like this would act as a major boost for Indian manufacturers who have so far seen their higher quality products left unsold because of the cut- rate Chinese substitute.

BOYCOTTING 'MADE IN CHINA' STIGMA

The Indian economy is at such a critical stage that it needs the manufacturing sector to prosper and do so, for the longest term possible. Thus, when the Chinese products are off the market, Indian buyers will have to use the domestic ones that are significantly better in terms of quality. There must be a blanket ban on all Chinese goods and in case of the latter, it is just the firecrackers. The decision taken by Obra panchayat will give much space to the local manufacturers who are captious to the long-term well being of the national economy.

Manufacturing had now become a primary sector in an Indian context and if Indian products are offering better quality then definitely the subordinate products available at cheaper rates need to be banned. Let us see how far this movement spreads and to what extent it affects the wealth of China and also the effect it has on China’s backing towards Pakistan.

The youth and adolescents of today spend most of their nights watching movies, interacting on social media or working late night.Sleep deprivation has become a common phenomenon in today’s generation. They choose the dark hours storming their brain out rather than sleeping for the best. And to add, the so-called quotes like “your brain works better at night  ” or “Intelligent people are more likely to stay awake late in the night” worsens the picture.

A RISKY EXPERIMENT

Sleeping late in the morning is not cool. It proves to be hazardous for your health and ruins the sanity of your life. The outcomes were roughly proved by a 17 years old student in 1965.He stayed awake for 264 hours for the sake of experiment.

On the second day, his eyes stopped focusing.
Next, he lost the sensitivity of touch. further, he became moody with uncoordinated actions.
By the end of his experiment, he was unable to concentrate. Consequently, he started having troubles with short term memory.
In addition to that, he became paranoid. As a result , he started hallucinating.

When he was asked to subtract seven repeatedly, starting with 100, he stopped at 65. When asked why he had stopped, he replied that he had forgotten what he was doing. This happened on the 11th day.
He later recovered without much physiological damage. But for others, losing shuteye can result in hormonal imbalance, illness, and even death.

Science still fails to explain the complete physiology and functions of sleep. Nevertheless, we know it is essential. Adults need 7 to 8 hours of sleep while young one needs at least 10 hours of sleep.

WHY DO WE NEED TO SLEEP?

The signals from our body tell our brain that we are tired. Furthermore, the dark environment at night also triggers the brain. Subsequently, we grow sleepy. The rise in sleep-inducing chemicals like adenosine and melatonin send us into a light doze which grows deeper,  thereby slowing our breathing and heart rate along with relaxing our muscles.

During this period of apparent inactivity most vital functions operates in the body. Cells repair DNA and rejuvenated itself during sleep. The body prepares itself for the day ahead refilling the system reservoirs. During daytime, the cells are busy as bee using energy and giving out byproducts. These waste products increase the urge to sleep called ” Sleep Pressure”.

Life is beautiful. We should try our best to preserve the sanctity of this beauty by following its nature. Trying to interfere with the codes of its conduct, leads to unhappy results.

There’s always less importance given to fathers when talking about an emotional relationship between parents and children.  Research has proved that fathers and mothers equally affect the child’s well-being, self-esteem, emotional stability and mental health.

I wonder what I ever did to deserve this incredibly beautiful, strong bond I have with my father. Throughout my life, he has supported me in all the steps I take forward. Whenever I saw a failure, he held me up and taught me how to face them. He was there cheering for me during my achievements.
