Love, Loyalty and Social Network

i love you buddymantra

i love you buddymantraLove is love, it sees no caste, color, creed and status. Love is termed as blind not because many at times we see gorgeous girls paired with a guy not worth being her driver or times when a real hunk is seen looking at a plain Jane with stars in his eyes, love is blind because a lover is unable to see anyone else when in the presence of his/her lover. Their prime focus is nothing but their LOVE!!!

However love is losing its charm in today’s materialistic world. A girl will only stick to her guy as long as he is able to provide her with financial security and a guy will not leave his girl’s side as long as she is obedient to him. I am not trying to generalize the matter but the majority belongs to the above mentioned herd.

Verily true love is not non-existent, I know a couple who happened to meet online and to make the matters worse both belonged to different cities, they had everything going against them except their true feelings for each other. He met her on a social network site, they both followed the same actor who was their favorite, the girl had the habit of writing comments on her favorite actor’s posts and this is how the guy located her. He was drawn to her deep intelligent eyes and heartwarming style of writing. He couldn’t stop himself from sending her a friend’s request. The girl had to act like a girl, she didn’t accept it there and then, she saw his profile a couple of times before she responded.

They spoke for some time and soon the girl realized that she was talking to a guy who viewed the world from a very different angle. He was intelligent, eccentric, sarcastic and straightforward. He didn’t try to maneuver her with sweet flowery honey dipped sentences but she could feel being smitten by him. Soon they started talking to each other for hours and in a week’s time moved from chat to phone. They both knew that they have finally found the missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle of their lives.

love is just loveThere was no condition, no complaints and definitely no demands in their relationship. She was a frivolous kind while he was a party animal, she used to introspect and he loved to meditate, she was hooked to working out while he was a yoga freak, she loved romantic songs while he was in house music, she couldn’t have enough of Christopher Nolan while he was true blue fan of Quentin Tarantino, they were remarkably different yet terribly alike. Poles apart yet nothing could separate them. Their relationship was too good to be true.

One day she was discussing her love life with a very close friend of hers, her friend set her off by saying that the two of you are never going to meet plus he stays in a different city, almost 1600kms from yours, what’s the guarantee that he is loyal to you. She being a real girl, no pun intended but she was swayed by her friend because she didn’t have a brain of her own, she depended on borrowed brain which only caused her anxiety, discomfort and negativity.

forever loveShe messaged him as soon as she came home but there was no reply. She waited for a few hours and then called, his phone kept ringing. She started to worry. She started to feel all types of bad vibe. Her mind was occupied by the weird ideas of he being with someone else, or he was finally over her, what if he met with some accident, what if he never calls. She was beyond worried and was unable to rest. He didn’t call her the whole of that night and she was unable to sleep throughout the night.

She sent him many emails, messages and voicemails but all she could hear was a silence that was deafening her. The next day he called, she picked up her phone on the first ring, no sooner did she hear his voice, she started to hurl accusations at him saying that he has used her, been unfaithful to her, made a fool out of her and played with her emotions. The guy listened to her patiently and silently. Soon she broke down in tears and started to weep bitterly. This, he couldn’t take and felt helpless as he wanted to take her in his arms but the distance prevailed between the two of them.

Very calmly he told her that he was with a family member who had a heart attack and he was stuck in an emergency crisis. There was so much of rush he forgot to take his phone. He then told her, she can believe him if she wants to or else there is just no point being in relationship which has no trust. Love is an integral part of a relationship, so is respect, trust and understanding. He said, if he wanted to cheat her, he could have done it by staying in the same city, people cheat even after marriage, even after living under the same roof. Any relationship is very fragile but if the love is strong, it can face any storm. Last night was like one of those storms, if their love is strong, their relationship will remain unaffected.

love conquers allHence virtual love, real love, long distance love, normal love, LOVE is just LOVE. Shakespeare says, “Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove: O no; it is an ever-fixed mark.” Hence true love is something which can endure any sort of hardships, trials and tribulations. It is falling for someone selflessly without any dreams or desire for any sort of compensation or commitment, to love means to love forever.

The girl realized that he is truly the one for her and she owes no explanations to anyone regarding the sincerity and genuineness of her lover’s emotions, as long as she knows he loves her, she is happy and content. Following the tips on surviving long distance love, the girl decides to meet him every two three months to keep the relationship FRESH FOREVER!!!

Magic of Smile

Magic of Smile

Today I am going to narrate a short story of a grumpy angry man named Mr. Frown. This man is an average guy next door with a routine life. He goes to work every day, undertakes all his task efficiently, jogs, eats, works, sleeps, wakes up and then once again the next day goes to work and follows a stereotype lifecycle. He has no family, no friend and no girlfriend. His life is simple, routine and without any complication….his life has no LIFE.

One day as he was jogging, he noticed a small girl playing with her poodle, suddenly the poodle went running to Mr. Frown and started to lick his feet. The little girl came running and picked up her dog. She held him in her arms and stretched her friendly hands towards him and greeted him with a smile. She said: “Hi my name is Hope, what’s yours?” Mr. Frown was taken aback because no one had ever greeted him so casually, everybody feared him and were intimidated by his domineering personality.

Hesitantly he replied, “I am Mr. Frown,” the little girl laughed and said addressing her poodle, you two will make great friends, “Meet Smile!” Uncanny but true Mr. Frown actually saw Smile smiling. Mr. Frown forced a formal smile and said Hi to Smile but Hope interjected, “Mr. Frown, why doesn’t your smile touches your eyes?”

She looked intently at him, and Mr. Frown felt mesmerized by her deep piercing eyes, he was transfixed. Hope said, “Mr. Frown do you know you get only one life and you are just wasting it away doing menial nothings. Life is all about living, enjoying and of course SMILING!!!” She continued “Do you know the benefits of smile, a smile is:

Natural Painkiller: Smiling and laughter both are able to lessen pain. They release endorphins that uplift ones moods, plus they act as natural painkillers.

Increases Attraction: Smiles makes one look more attractive. It suggests you have kind disposition, are easygoing and feel for others. A study in the European Journal of Social Psychology confirmed that smiling in fact makes you more attractive to the people you smile at.

Natural Stress Buster: Stress is one of the most common and prevalent problems in the modern world which causes end number of health problems. The best way to get rid of stress is by smiling a little more throughout the day. Smiling releases endorphins that fight and decrease the stress hormones.

Stronger Immune System: Smiling can also strengthen your immune system, as it will help your body produce white blood cells to help combat illnesses. There was a study which confirmed that those children that were admitted in the hospitals who were entertained by story-tellers and puppeteers had higher white blood cell counts than those children who weren’t visited by any such entertainers, the reason being simple these children smiled and laughed more.

Winner: Smile makes you look more approachable, empathic and trustworthy. Improve your credibility by smiling more, however many don’t trust easily but if you smile at them then it will surely help. If you hold the position of power, or want to achieve it then keep smiling for that’s the key to your success. A group of researchers from The University of Montpellier found that smiling is an excellent leadership technique compared to possessing great management responsibilities.

Although Mr. Frown could never meet Hope again but her advice had a sound effect on Mr. Frown and he started greeting everyone with a smile. Soon the people around him changed, his days changed, his entire life changed. Now, Mr. Frown is a smiling man and he looks healthier, feels better, and is viewed as more trustworthy and a better leader. Whenever he or anyone around him feels stressed down, Mr. Grown cheers him/ her up with a happy smiling face. This has made him win many friends, he is also united with his family and yes now he has a loving, doting and beautiful Girlfriend who affectionately calls him Smiley.

Surviving A Long Distance Relationship

0

long distance loveA relationship is a relationship, be it regular, virtual or long distance. Each relationship has its own pros and cons and require a particular way of handling it. Love is an integral part of any relationship but it needs more than mere love to make it last longer or rather forever.

Most of the time it so happens that your family, friends and close ones will advise you against the long distance relationship as they harbor the idea that it doesn’t last. My question to them is which relationship comes with a foolproof guarantee that it will never go wrong or will last forever? Well I am sure none can come up with any such guarantee. Here are a few tips that will help any couple in a long distance relationship to survive the pain, longing and frustration.

Transparency

Transparency is the backbone of a healthy relationship. You two need to be very honest with each other, don’t hide anything or hesitate in sharing your feelings. Both of you need to be aware of each other’s wish and desires. Plus it’s not just about desires, you two need to speak directly and openly. Chances are your partner has some flaws and drawbacks, be sure to bring it up in a subtle manner because a harsh critic is your closest buddy.

No Secrets

share your secretsSecrets kill relationships, be it your past, fantasies or fetish, make sure your partner knows about it all. A lover is not just a lover but your other half, best friend and closest ally. Your past maybe leaden with dark miseries, if you share it with your partner over phone or Skype then obviously your partner will understand, for a sensible person is one who will realize that past has passed and ‘he/she’ wasn’t there when you did all those weird, insane or wild activities, hence won’t make much difference to the way they feel for you. Moreover when you share each and everything, good, bad, ugly and dirty little secrets with each other, you are bound to create an unbreakable bond. This way you two will rely, depend and trust each other the most. The more the comfort level, the more secrets you share and the more secrets you share, the closer you get to each other, the closer you get to each other the stronger the relationship becomes.

Daily Communication

communicationCommunication is an integral part of a love filled relationship. It is more than obvious that in a long distance relationship, you won’t be able to hold your partner’s hands every evening, take a stroll in the park, enjoy dinner, party out or just meet each other whenever the urge arises. Lack of physical proximity is a major drawback of such relationship but when two souls are connected then nothing can keep them apart, they will be together even if they stay miles apart. Small gestures like, one good morning and goodnight call on a daily basis will be enough to make the two of you realize that you two are the first one on each other’s minds when you wake up and last one before you go off to sleep. Dropping surprise love notes in the middle of a busy schedule, regular gifts and out of the blue hand written love letters will stir the very entity of your partner and make you two stick closely to each other.

Unpredictability

long distance relationshipStagnancy causes saturation, make sure your relationship is alive, frivolous and filled with excitement. Following a set pattern like talking to each other at a particular time every day or night, greeting each other with gifts on Valentine’s Day and wishing each other on the strike of twelve on his/her birthday might look romantic for some time but a routine relationship will bore you two to the bones. There won’t be any novelty, excitement or surprise and you will feel like as if you are following a mechanical life or moving in circles. Surprise your partner with an out of character behavior, if your partner feels that you are not very expressive or romantic then do something bizarre to sweep your partner off his/her feet. You can just give your partner a call in the middle of the night and tell him/her that they mean the world to you, dedicate a song, send a love text or a lengthy love filled romantic email (a hand written love letter would be better).

Meeting & Mating

sex in loveMake sure that your relationship is not restricted to phone calls, video chats and social media affection alone. The two of you need to meet each other as well, hence make sure that you plan your meetings every two to three months. Before you meet, have long discussions with each other as to what you two will do when you meet. Tease, please and entice each other by sharing your sexual fantasies with each other. The higher the temperature the pleasurable will be the meeting and the closer the two of you will get to each other. Do keep in mind that sexual compatibility and emotional connect will nourish your relationship. Love starts with eyes, spreads through the body, conquers the heart and inhabits the very soul of lovers, the idea here is to make sure that the two of you belong to each other, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Love your partner from the deepest core of your heart and resolve that come what may, the two of you will stick to each other till your last breath.

Leadership is about maximizing performance. Do the best by focusing on people respecting their boundaries, celebrating their talents, acknowledging their successes and holding them accountable for their roles.

If any organization, business, venture is going to succeed, it needs a firm leader who can demonstrate the way, go the way, and show the way.

Here are few ways that can make happen:

  1. Teach your people to fish. Don’t give people a fish, teach them to catch their own. Empower people to fulfill their assigned roles and watch them grow into their potential as happy, fulfilled, and loyal team members .sucess mantra
  2. Keep expectations realistic. Be specific and realistic about expectations. Hold yourself to the same standard as others and show them how it’s done. Demonstrate that under promising and over delivering are good for business.
  3. Stay alert and keep informed. People always want to know what’s going on, especially during stressful times in the organization. More often than not, it’s a simple desire for knowledge that leads to the dreaded rumor mill.images6
  4. Be flexible when it comes to schedules and work assignments. It helps people to balance their work and personal responsibilities better. Spending time on the front lines gives you a valuable perspective and earn your respect that you won’t get any other way.

  6. Always be specific with recognition. Talk about what was done and how the project members contributed to the team
  7. Focus on solutions. You can’t always avoid problems, but you can control reactions. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong or whose fault it is, keep your focus on solutions. If you can show people how to identify and positively react to a problem, you empower them to solve things for themselves.

  10. Maintaining the virtue of patience can definitely be a challenge especially when you’re dealing with someone having less knowledge.
  11. Accountable for your leadership. Don’t let minor obstacles become excuses for missing a deadline. Show people that you walk the talk and that you are serious about creating leadership in others, and you expect the same level of accountability from them.

Let Nature Be Your Inspiration

Let Nature Be Your Inspiration

four elements of natureA successful man is dynamic and not stagnant. Movement is the sign of life and inactivity means death. One has to always strive, struggle and move on to achieve success and stay on top. Inspiration and motivation is what gets one going. Different people get inspired by different ideas, some by awe inspiring personalities, some by thought provoking ideals, some by history while many by circumstances. Today I will show you how you can let nature be your inspiration.

Nature has four elements, Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Here is how you can set these elements as your source of motivation to move up the success ladder.

Earth: Try to hold your grounds when you have things going in your favor. Earth teaches you to stay firm, focused and productive. Earth teaches you stability, humility and modesty. People don’t say ‘down to earth’ for nothing. The deeper a seed goes to an earth, the stronger the tree becomes, make sure that your goals, aims and ideals are set to the very core of your personality, this is the only way you can realize your dreams. Sheer determination and rock solid dedication is the key to success.

Water: Be flexible, adaptable and free flowing like water. An ocean is the perfect symbol of tranquility, peace and serenity. Look at water, it adjusts anywhere and everywhere, it is colorless so you need to direct your personality in the same manner, be flexible, easy going and without any tantrums. Water can adjust itself in any vessel, in the same manner, you try to adjust yourself in any circumstances and company. Don’t be rigid, be open to new challenges and always face the world with peaceful and calm mind.

Air: Air symbolizes life, movement and dynamism. Keep moving, keep setting goals and always move ahead, there is just no looking back. Air enhances the power of the element it mixes with, in the same manner you be the strength of the people around you, keep motivating them, inspire them to do better and always be helpful. Air is the symbol of logic and intellect, a pen is mightier than a sword, hence make yourself heard by sheer logic and intelligence.

Fire: Fire may look like a not so friendly element but it is the fire that should be the crux of your personality. You have to learn passion, aggression, fierceness and eccentricity from fire. Little bit of adversity is a must otherwise too much of leniency will make people take you for granted. You have to have that sort of driving force within you and this driving force needs to inspire others to emulate you, to follow you, to obey you, you be the leader, let your voice be heard and make sure that it is being heard far and wide. This is only possible if you have fiery passion burning inside you. You can take the world in your stride if you have that sort of aggression which can lure people to follow you.
