American business magazine Forbes released its annual list featuring richest people in the world on March 02, 2015. As per Forbes, there are a record 1826 billionaires in the world, which shows an increase of 181 in the past 12 months.

William Henry “Bill” Gates III is an American business magnate, philanthropist, investor and computer programmer who co-founded Microsoft along with Paul Allen in the year 1975. Gates is currently the richest man in the world with a net worth of 81.1 billion.

Carlos Slim Helu is a Mexican business magnate, investor and philanthropist. From 2010 to 2013 Slim was ranked as the richest person in the world. Slim is the chairman and chief executive of telecommunications companies “Telmex” and “America Movil”, Latin America’s largest mobile-phone carrier.
