Salman Khan extends support to 25,000 daily wagers to fight against Corona
Besides acting Salman Khan also for his Being Human foundation and his charity work and once again the tiger of Bollywood came forward to extend help 25,000 daily wage workers whose live have been affected due national lockdown.
BN Tiwari, the president of Federation of Western India Cine Employees revealed that Salman Khan will be helping 25,000 daily wage artists. Tiwari said “After we approached Salman Khan, he asked us to give him a count of the most affected workers from our association and we told him there were 25,000 such artistes. He has decided to contribute for them. We will be sending him the list in the evening,”
In addition to this Tiwari said “It’s only going to get worse. People are preparing only for 21-day lockdown but we have five lakh workers. If this extends for a month or two, we will need help from everyone. There are a thousand people ready to fund in the PM-CARES fund but the industry, which you belong to, you should donate there first. You are giving Rs 25 crore to the PM-CARES fund to come in the good books of the Prime Minister but there’s not been a single phone call yet to make any donation for the federation workers,”

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s contribution to fight against Pandemic
Although Virushka’s exact contribution is not yet revealed but according to sources it said the duo donated 3 crores to the PM care fund. Moreover, Anushka shared a statement which read
“Virat and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Relief Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many and we hope our contribution, in some way, helps easing the pain of our fellow citizens (sic).”
Akshay Kumar donated 25 cr to the PM relief fund
This is one of the biggest donation made by a B-town celebrity. Khiladi on Saturday announced his contribution to fight against Covid-19. Akshay on his twitter handle tweeted

National comedian Kapil Sharma pledged to donate 50 Lakhs to the PM relief fund. Kapil Sharma in his recent tweets announced “It’s time to stand together with the ones who need us. Contributing Rs 50 lakhs to the PM relief fund towards the #fightagainstcorona. Request everyone to #stayhome #staysafe #jaihind #PMrelieffund @narendramodi,” wrote Sharma. Moreover, he urged everyone to join the fight.

Hema Malini contributed 1 crore rs from MP LADS
Famous actress and politician Hema Malini released an amount of 1 crore from the MPLADS
(Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) to help to curb the situation. The BJP MP also urges religious places to contribute to rescue to those worst hit by lock-down. In her recent tweet she said “I take this opportunity to appeal to all religious centers-temples, masjids, churches to come fwd to help the poor-the worst affected by this lock-down. Suddenly they are jobless &homeless &they are stranded. Pls donate funds towards their welfare & safety -it is the need of the hour”
Varun Dhawan also stood up to the cause
Famous actor Varun Dhawan also came forward and expressed his gesture by donating 30 Lakhs to the PM-CARES fund and 25 lakhs to Maharashtra CM’s relief fund. Varun recently tweeted “I pledge to contribute 30 lakhs to the PM CARE fund. We will overcome this. Desh hai toh hum hain”.
Covid-19 has affected millions of lives and with a global death toll crossing 35,000 and counting. In India total death toll climbed to 29 while 1071 lives are still at stake.
