The summers are coming very fast. During these days, you should take great care of your health and eat things that give a sense of coldness in your body and mind. Everyone should eat seasonal fruits, that are fruits available in the summer because they contain lots of nutritious ingredients. By eating these fruits, you will also get the necessary nutrients and they will protect you from the diseases born in the summer.
As the summer season arrives, the sun is getting so sharp that it keeps the body scorching inside. To overcome these summers, you do not only need to depend on ice cream or cold drink. To avoid heat, we need to include vegetables with lots of water in our diet. So that, there is not lack of water in our body.

Nowadays, there are many ways that can help you keep your body cool for a long time in summer. People now use air conditioners in cars, homes, and offices. This will give you comfort for some time, but this will cause you much loss later on. Instead, you can enjoy fresh air by going around any water source that is near your house. With this, you will enjoy the summer without any side effects.

Water

Water is considered to be the source of human life and this is rightly proved. When people are thirsty the first thing they ask for is water without which their quest for thirst cannot be fulfilled. So you should drink plenty of water to maintain enough water in the body. If you are at home then it is important to drink water, but if you go somewhere out, then you should take a bottle of water with you.  Moreover, in summers, you get enough sweating, which loses your body water thereby causing lack of water in your body. Drinking plenty of water to bring back the water released from the body in the form of perspiration is necessary or it may cause dehydration.

Cucumber

If you do not have the habit of drinking too much water in the day, then consume such vegetables that give your body ample of water. Cucumber is such a fruit that contains abundant water content. You can use it in a salad, or by using it in the sandwich, it can be easily consumed. When you are feeling helpless in the heat of the summer, take a cucumber and divide it in 4 parts in length. Insert a little salt and black pepper in between and enjoy the cold. Cucumber is a very good source of water, it contains 96% water. Cucumber is a very good source of vitamin A, B1, B6C, D potassium, phosphorus, iron etc.  Regularly drinking the cucumber juice strengthens the body from inside and outside. With cucumber giving relief from constipation, it proves to be beneficial in every problem related to the stomach. In addition, regularly eating cucumber is beneficial for acidity, chest burning.

Gourd

Most people like to eat gourd as a vegetable. The amount of water in this vegetable is very high. Sodium is also found in a gourd. Its taste is sometimes sweet also. Intake of this vegetable helps you save from heatstroke. Due to its consumption, you can also be relieved from stomach disorders, indigestion, and acidity which are usually a problem to many during summer time.

Muskmelon

It is a sweet fruit.  When it is not sweet you can add some sugar to it to make it tasty, fresh and watery.

Whole grains

Lemon Juice / Lemon Water

If you want to be relaxed and stay hydrated in summers, then the lemon juice will prove to be a great remedy for you. Lemon juice is available in many names in the market. You can choose any of these and start consuming it. Even if you are going on a long trip, you can still keep it with you. If you can make lemonade at home then it will be much better. For this, you need a lemon, half teaspoon sugar and a pinch of salt. If you want to sweeten it then use one teaspoon sugar instead of half. Squeeze the lemon juice and put it in a glass and mix it well with sugar, salt, and water. Drinking a glass of lemon will give great relief in the warm summer.

Curd or Yogurt

For the summer season, the curd is not less than any nectar.  You can increase the taste of curd by mixing coriander, cumin powder and salt. If you can afford sweet curd, then you can take it by mixing sugars or making lassi. The curd is also very useful to prevent Loo. You should drink yogurt when you feel loon. It also removes the heat of the stomach. Make buttermilk or lassi from the curd and drink it to stop the heat of the stomach. In other stomach diseases, it is beneficial to take yogurt with rock salt.
