When you have decided to embark on a healthy lifestyle, you must do regular workouts to burn calories. Whatever your age is, one can normally start cycling, cardiovascular activities and stretching to keep your muscles active. Regular workouts uphold a healthy weight and also boost the immune system cells that fight disease. The more you exercise the more you burn calories and strengthen your muscles as well. So, your weight loss depends on your caloric intake. When you do a regular physical activity you will notice a change over your well-being.

Choose a healthy diet to maintain weight

When you eat or drink excess calories, your body stores the energy as glycogen or fat resulting in weight gain. So, eating less or light food helps you to lose some pounds in your body.

It is also recommended that a woman should intake 2000 calories per day and men need 2500 calories to lose maintain a healthy weight. 

Drink plenty of water

To maintain a healthy weight you must sleep at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night to function at their best.  If you do not complete your sleeping hour properly this may possibly result in weight gain. Poor sleep increases appetite that makes it difficult for you to decide what is healthy for you. So sleeping is also an important factor that also maintains a healthy weight.
