How I look? Do I look fat? What do you think, have I gone too skinny? Do my hairs look okay? What about my packs and abs? Would they make me more charming? Ufhh!! Everyone have a body image. We all feel about the way we look. And we have feelings and ideas about how others think of us. Body image is the way of showing attitude towards our body. Body image is influenced by once owns beliefs and attitude as well as by those of society, media circle & peer group. Your body image can be range from positive to negative. You may feel pride for some part and feel shame for other.

Today’s shiny world has become a stage of showing what is perfect and what is flaw. Many people struggle with their body image now. Sometimes it’s very difficult to choose between our minds and society’s mouth. Though there’s a big difference in healthy and unhealthy body image.
A healthy body image is about valuing yourself. It is being comfortable about your skin and feeling good about yourself.

The media have paved the main road to body appearance. They bombard a person with photo shopped bodies which are unrealistic to achieve daily. It is very bad for mental health and is a time consuming thing also. Spending all your time obsessing about your body appearance snatches away your valuable time. There is no right or wrong about the body appearance. Everybody is unique, so instead of graving we should celebrate that about our originality. It’s better to be your first edition than someone else second. You are not ugly; it’s the society which is ugly. As said “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. So just be confident, because as original is worth more than a copy.
