Fast and Furious 8: What was it about?
The movie follows the story of Dom Toretto who was spending quality time with his wife in Cuba. He was soon tricked and encountered by a woman named Cipher who was cyber terrorist. She threatened him to work for her and retrieve an EMP device which is enough to wipe out an entire electrical grid. The team reunites to place the EMP device into good hands but Dom instead gave it to Cipher in order to save the love of his life who was captured by Cipher. Rest of the story revolves around the team helping Mr. Nobody to capture Dom and Cipher.

Why was the F9 delayed?
The filming of the ninth part began back in July 2019 and the film was finished by the end of the year. F9 carries a budget of $200 million due to its heavy, expensive cars and thrilling stunts.
Vin Deisel’s announcement regarding the delay
As mentioned earlier, the movie was set to release this year on May 22, 2020, and was expected to be one of the highest-grossing film of the year but due to some und but due to the global pandemic crisis, the film was delayed by a year. That was the reason why the trailer was dropped a year before the movie was released. Vin Deisel informed on social media that “We feel all the love and the anticipation you have for the next chapter in our saga,” he added. “That’s why it’s especially tough to let you know that we have to move the release date of the film. It’s become clear that it won’t be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May.”

While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration.”

When will the ninth part release?
