Allergy can be from mild to severe. It is caused when the body rejects particles entered into the body. In case the allergy is severe it is best to consult a doctor.
For a mild case of allergy or relief to some extent you can follow these tips:
- Drink Plenty Water
Water helps in flushing out toxins from the body. Try drinking warm water between equal intervals. Add a teaspoon of honey and lemon to add taste.
2) Tea
Tea’s like Green tea, Chrysanthemum tea, Ginger tea helps in fighting the allergens. Steep packets of tea of your preference and drink maximum two cups.
3)Ice Packs
In the case of swelling or itching put ice packs over the affected area.
4)Histamine
Food with histamine like banana, chocolates, tomatoes is helpful in dealing with an allergic reaction. But it is important to check if you are allergic to histamine.

Drink plenty of juices like pomegranate juice, watermelon juice, lemonade, orange juice, sugarcane juice for relief
6)Steaming, Gargling
Steaming with a little of balms in the mixture like vix, and gargling with warm water and pinch of salt helps in decongestion of throat and nasal passage
Pranayama is a useful method of treatment in this scenario. A few strokes of kapalbhati and atom viola pranayama will clear nasal passage.
8)Warm baths and a bowl of soup
A warm bath and bowl of your favorite soup will calm your nerves and help in relaxing.
