Lip-smacking Pasta recipes to enjoy at home

Pasta is a tasty dish that we like eating in any meal. There are a variety of Pasta shapes, so we have numerous recipes. Some dishes are very tasty and you cannot stop yourself from eating them. What if you could cook restaurant style Pasta dishes at home. You can enjoy eating those yummy dishes whenever you want. Though Pasta is a good dish for any meal, yet it is best for breakfast.

Pasta in white sauce

This is a popular Pasta dish found in restaurants. It is of Italian cuisine and is a delight for anyone who likes cheese. This dish has Pasta sauteed with vegetables in a creamy gravy. You can follow this recipe for all shapes of Pasta.

Ingredients –

  1. Pasta – 2 cups
  2. Water – As needed for boiling Pasta
  3. Salt – According to taste
  4. Oil – As required for boiling and frying Pasta
  5. Onion – Half
  6. Garlic – Few cloves
  7. Vegetables – 3 cups
  8. Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
  9. Butter – 1 tablespoon
  10. Milk – 3 cups
  11. Refined flour (Maida) – 3 tablespoons
  12. Cheese cube – 2

Method –

  1. You can use any vegetables of your choice. I had used capsicum and carrot. You can also use sweet corn, cabbage, beans, broccoli, mushroom, bell pepper and baby corn.
  2. Chop onion, garlic, all the vegetables and cheese finely.
  3. Heat water in a pan and put little salt to it. When the water boils, put pasta to it. Add little oil to it so that pasta does not stick to the pan.
  4. Cook till the pasta turns soft but do not overcook as it may break while frying. Strain the pasta from hot water and keep it aside.
  5. Heat a pan and put oil to it. The oil should be sufficient for frying all ingredients. Add onion and garlic to it. Fry till the raw smell disappears.
  6. Then put the vegetables to it and fry well. Add little salt and pepper powder to it and mix. Saute till the vegetables shrink slightly but make sure that they are crunchy.
  7. Keep this fried mixture aside. Take a mixing bowl and put milk to it. Add maida gradually to it and stir properly. Ensure that there is no lump in it.
  8. Heat the same pan and put oil to it. Then add butter to it. Pour the mixture of maida and milk in the pan. Saute and mix very well so that the sauce thickens.
  9. Then add little salt and pepper powder to it and mix. Put the fried vegetables and mix well. Then add the boiled pasta to it. Cook till the sauce turns creamy.
  10. Mix gently so that pasta does not break and white sauce coats all the ingredients. Then add cheese to it and mix properly. Make sure that all the ingredients have combined well. Serve it hot.

Cheesy Pasta

This is a delicious dish of Pasta sauteed in a rich and creamy gravy. It does not take too much time to prepare. You can follow this recipe for all shapes of Pasta.

Ingredients –

  1. Pasta – 2 cups
  2. Water – As needed for boiling Pasta
  3. Salt – According to taste
  4. Cheese cube – 2
  5. Pepper powder – Half teaspoon
  6. Butter – 1 tablespoon
  7. Milk – 2 cups
  8. Chili powder – Half teaspoon

Method –

  1. Cut cheese cubes finely for sauteing pasta and slightly big pieces for garnishing.
  2. Heat water in a pan and put little salt to it. When the water boils, put pasta to it. Add little oil to it so that pasta does not stick to the pan.
  3. Cook till the pasta turns soft but do not overcook as it may break while frying. Strain the pasta from hot water and keep it aside.
  4. Heat a pan and melt butter in it. Then add pasta and toss gently. Put milk to it and stir properly.
  5. Add pepper powder and chilli powder to it and mix well. Cook till the Pasta looks creamy. Then put some cheese to it and mix.
  6. Garnish with cheese. Serve it hot.

Pasta in quick tomato sauce

This is a tasty dish of pasta with a tangy flavor. You can follow this recipe for all shapes of pasta.

Ingredients –

  1. Pasta – 2 cups
  2. Water – As needed for boiling Pasta
  3. Salt – According to taste
  4. Oil – As required for boiling and frying Pasta
  5. Capsicum – 1
  6. Tomato – 1
  7. Garlic – Few cloves
  8. Tomato sauce – 2 tablespoons
  9. Pepper powder – Half teaspoon
  10. Milk – Half cup

Method –

  1. Chop garlic finely. Cut capsicum and tomato in strips.
  2. Heat water in a pan and put little salt to it. When the water boils, put pasta to it. Add little oil to it so that pasta does not stick to the pan.
  3. Cook till the pasta turns soft but do not overcook as it may break while frying. Strain the pasta from hot water and keep it aside.
  4. Heat a pan and put oil to it. The oil should be sufficient for frying all ingredients. Add garlic, capsicum and fry well.
  5. Then put tomato, salt, pepper powder, tomato sauce and saute for some time. Add pasta to it and mix properly.
  6. Then put milk to it and toss gently. Make sure that all the ingredients have combined. Serve it hot.

Veg Pasta

This is a delectable dish of pasta sauteed with vegetables. You can follow this recipe for all shapes of pasta.

Ingredients –

  1. Pasta – 2 cups

  12. Maggi Masala e Magic – According to taste

Method –

  8. Too much quantity of the masala makes the dish spicy. You can use any other masala if you want.
  9. Then put pasta to it and mix properly. Add cheese and make sure that all the ingredients have combined. Serve it hot.
