I Found My Dream Dental Clinic in Juhu

I have been residing in the Mumbai western suburbs for several years now, and I have visited a number of dental clinics over the years. However, I hadn’t yet found the place I was looking for. The place that had the finesse of a human touch, along with state-of-the-art technology. The place that felt like home while I was being treated professionally. The place that did not scare me as a patient yet still provided top-class dental treatment. I didn’t really know if such a place existed until I found one tucked in the suburbs of Bombay, in Juhu. 

So there wasn’t much that I wanted from the dental clinic, just a routine cleaning procedure, so I sought out a clinic nearby. This time I looked for a clinic with an aesthetic design and a nice and cosy waiting room. I found a clinic called Signature Smiles in my vicinity. 

The appointment procedure was relatively seamless. I reached the dental clinic on time, and they greeted me with warmth and respect.  They offered me some packaged still water and gave me a basic form to fill. The form was relatively easy; however, the staff was more than happy to help with the same. 

I waited for my turn and was called into the doctor’s office. The doctor seemed warm and asked me to have a seat on the dental chair. Personally, I am extremely apprehensive about dental treatment due to a petrifying childhood experience at the dental office.  

The fact that was most surprising was that the clinic did not have a vibe of a typical dental clinic. For starters, it smelled good, which is unlike most dental clinics that usually smell of medication and clove oil. There was soft instrumental music playing in the background of my favourite Bollywood songs.  

The doctor started checking my mouth for oral health issues and began taking a few X-rays. The X-rays were not the old and outdated ones; instead, they were digitilized and advanced. The doctor also scanned my mouth with something called an intraoral scanner, which showed the real-time condition of my teeth and gums. That showed that I had a lot of plaque and tartar and required dental cleaning and polishing; it also showed that I had a few cavities that needed to be treated and that I didn’t know about. I was impressed by the fact that instead of rushing through the process, he calmly explained about my oral health problems along with the whole treatment plan. 

The treatment itself was extremely smooth, and I did not feel overwhelmed at all.  It did not feel that the dentist was pushing unnecessary treatment on me, as his plan was thoughtful and concise. He gave a choice of the materials and the budgets that I would be comfortable with. I realised that dentistry was not obsolete any more, and dental clinics in Juhu were offering modern dentistry at an affordable price. I had read about such clinics in blogs and newspapers, and now I was blessed enough to experience one.  

Since then, I have had all my 6-monthly checkups done from the same clinic, and I am extremely happy with the services provided there. I have also referred a friend who had other treatments done, like root canals, caps and whitening treatment.  

My favourite things about this clinic is:

• They not only attended for treatment but also reminded for follow up visits that we generally forget to do. 
• I really liked the personalised approach of the doctor who took time out to review every aspect of the case and explain the treatment plan before starting the treatment. 
• I liked the ambience and the cosy vibe that the clinic gave. It was very comforting and aesthetic and alleviated my anxiety completely. 
• The staff was very friendly and attentive to all my needs, and they ensured that I was absolutely comfortable before I started the treatment. 

In a city that never stops, it is very difficult to forget your healthcare needs. Thus, it is necessary to have an extremely good team of healthcare professionals that you can trust blindly. This dental clinic in Juhu is extremely well-situated and top-notch in its practice. The Doctors and staff are extremely patient and kind , so you can feel safe and well taken care of.  

Juhu in Mumbai is one of the most serene places due to its proximity to the beach. In a bustling city, the calmness of the beach soothes you after a dental treatment. Just to add a personal experience, I visited the beach after every dental visit to the clinic. 

Choosing an appropriate dental clinic is more than just a treatment choice. It’s about comfort, confidence and trust in your dental practitioner. A dental visit is a complete experience in itself, which should be soothing and fruitful at the same time.
