Eligibility and fees for CAT 2019
The CAT exam will be held in the month of November this year and candidates with a graduation degree with 50% mark and apply for this examination. The application form for the same will be available from the second week of August 2019 with fees of Rs 1800 for general category students and Rs 900 for other categories

Understanding CAT 2019 exam pattern

CAT is an online exam and is held in two sessions with a duration of 180 minutes where both objective and subjective questions are asked.
Total of 100 questions is asked with 3 marks for each correct answer and a minus 1 for every wrong answer.
The examination has a total of 3 sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability
CAT 2019 selection procedure

Once you have cleared the CAT exam you need to appear for the group discussions, written ability tests, and personal interviews
In the written ability round students are given an essay to write on any topic for which a duration of 30 minutes is given.
In the group discussion, groups of 8 to 10 members are made and a topic is given to discuss.
The last round is the personal interview where a panel of 4-6 judges is there who will judge whether you are fit for the course or not.

Enter all your necessary details like: name, age, phone number etc.
Once you submit you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number to verify your profile
Once verified, an email will be sent to you that will contain a username and password. Login with the credentials provided to complete your registration process.
Filling the form
Login with the username and password you received on your mail id
Enter all the information required regarding your educational qualification etc correctly and cross check them with the information on your papers too
Candidates will also be required to upload their passport size photograph, category certificate band signature

Payment procedure
Once everything is submitted the final step is making the payment
The fees can be paid only via online methods using debit/ credit cards, net baking or virtual wallets
You need to enter the details required for the payment and do not forget to save the receipt as a proof of payment made
Once done a confirmation mail will be sent to your id which you need to take a print out and keep it with you on the examination day

The CAT 2019 admit cards are issued to the candidates who have successfully submitted their forms on time. The admit cards are released in the month of October and can easily be downloaded from the official site of CAT.
