Sports in India is mostly about cricket. So when it comes to cricket, who else better than “Captain Cool” MS Dhoni . And ever since the first motion teaser was released during ICC World T-20 2016, the fans are going crazy all over.
The film is based on Dhoni’s life – his journey from a ticket collector to a wicketkeeper batsman and then, the captain of Indian Cricket Team. Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen playing the part of Dhoni on the big screen. Sushant has experimented a lot with his looks and body for the movie. It is even said that he had practiced Dhoni’s famous “helicopter shot” as we have seen in the trailers.
Along with Sushant, the movie will feature Anupam Kher , Gautam Gulati, Fawad Khan and Kaira Advani. John Abraham is said to have done a special appearance in the film. Well, given the fact that John and Dhoni are very good friends, the news was not at all surprising.
The trailer was officially launched in Amristar. Sushant and the whole cast were present on this occasion and the media was amazed when they saw Captain Cool himself present on the launch. Sushant shared his moments during the shooting of film and also teased Dhoni for his winning six in the World Cup 2011. Dhoni said he himself is pretty much excited for the movie. It is believed to be a promotional idea for the Captain to be present himself when the trailer is launched in Delhi and Mumbai.

The movie is a big project for Fox Studios as well as Director Neeraj Pandey, who seemed pretty relaxed with the good reaction at the trailer launch event. Fans are eagerly waiting for 30th September 2016, when the film hit the big screen. And as the poster said ” U know the man, but U don’t know the journey ” we hope you surely can’t miss this one at least.
