Rozgar Bazaar: A step forward into Employment

This corona-virus pandemic has created an economic and employment crisis in India. The International labor organization has published a report ‘ILO Monitor (2^nd Edition)’. This report states that the corona-virus pandemic is the worst global crisis since World War II‘.

To overcome this employment crisis, the Chief Minister of Delhi ‘Arvind Kejriwal’ has launched a Delhi Government Job portal named as ‘Rozgar Bazaar’ on 27^th July 2020.

Delhi Govt Job Portal- Rozgar Bazaar is a free job portal. And it will help to find out the latest openings for the ones who are searching jobs. This is claimed as a golden opportunity for the ones who needs a job in Delhi. Would be Employees or Employers need to register themselves on this portal through online method.

However, The Chief Minister has also appealed various companies and employers to join and help him in reviving economy. This is open for the aspirants who are 12^th passed, graduates, freshers or experienced in any field.

According to one of the interviews of Employment minister ‘Gopal Rai’ he claimed that the Delhi govt job portal has offered 10 lakh jobs so far. And companies like Aditya Birla group, Reliance, Amazon, HDFC bank and others are offering jobs on this portal. And more than 8 lakh job seekers have applied for the vacancies available at Rozgar bazaar.

Here’s how to Register on the Delhi govt Job portal (Rozgar Bazaar):

• Visit the official site at jobs.delhi.gov.in

• Select the option ‘I want a job’

• Add your mobile number for registration

• You will receive an OTP at your mobile
• Submit the OTP

• You can see now a Job list from which you can choose your preferences
• After selecting, click next
• You will now see a different page

• Fill your name, gender, qualification, work experience, region, nearest district, and can you speak English- yes/no.
• Now you are registered as a Job seeker on the portal.

• Login with your profile details
• You will get the job list
• You can also narrow down the list. By selecting the region and job category preferred from the section on the top of the portal.
• Now click on the job you wish to apply for
• Connect with the employer through a phone call or Whats App

If you want to hire:

• Visit the official site at jobs.delhi.gov.in
• Click on ‘I want to hire’
• Submit the details of your job profile
• You will now receive applications from the candidates who are interested
