PoetryTHE ENOUGH ‘LOOK’

THE ENOUGH ‘LOOK’

The entangled hairs remained entangled
Face looked so worn-out
My shirt un-tucked and dirty,
A look at the mirror was enough!
Being bid farewell by eyes’ glow
Whispers heard were a delusion
Arcane dreams invaded sleep,
A look at the entrance was enough!
Pouring rain was continuous
Swaying grasses were bent
Creaking swing was empty,
A look at the meadow was enough!
The thirsty expression lingered
Unsatisfied was the heart
Downward curve being prominent,
A look at the mirror was enough!
