Cars!!! In this new era, cars are not just the medium of transport, its way more than that. Cars have become more like a friend to us. Some use cars to show their status whereas some love to spend time with their car cum friend. Cars also pay back to them by providing many features. Day by day cars are getting converted to a humanoid robot. Not literally but seriously the way cars getting modified, the day is not far when cars would be giving you more advantages than your microwave oven. Some of those future miracles are noted down. If you want to imagine how sexy your future looks, have a look… 🙂
1.Splinter
This car is the first wooden supercar. When most of the people think of a wooden vehicle, they don’t think high performance. They are more likely to picture a canoe made of a hollowed-out log or a rickety wagon made of nailed together planks. The Splinter, a high-performance, wooden supercar, is not made from these construction techniques. Essentially every wooden part of the Splinter is made from composite construction. Composites like carbon fiber or fiberglass have been seen in cars for decades, but a car using wood composites to the extent that the Splinter does has never been built before.
2. Smart Forjeremy
The Forjeremy looks a lot like the swan-shaped boats that float through carnival tunnels of love, but it is based on the electric version of the smart Fortwo. According to Scott, the wings represent, “freedom, a sense of weightlessness. I definitely wanted to have them for the smart electric drive in order to convey the way it frees the environment of noxious emissions.” To encourage the correct driving position, the steering wheel is missing the very top of its rim.
3. AIRPod
The AIRPod is an alternative fuel vehicle is developed by Motor development International and Tata Motors that is powered by compressed air. The AIRPod is planned to be produced in three different configurations that will vary the number of seats and amount of cargo storage while keeping the same basic chassis. It is designed as an zero emission urban vehicle. Prototype has been tested by OKLM/AirFrance for use as emission-free vehicles in airports.
4. Mercedes-Benz Biome
The Mercedes-Benz Biome is an electric concept car created by Mercedes Benz in 2010. This car is unique in that it is grown in a laboratory, not in a factory line. The Mercedes-Benz biome is the fastest car of its rank, with no exploitable weakness. Its top speed is high, which helps it if it runs out of nitro. The biome’s acceleration is one of the fastest in its class and it’s helped by the Biome being consistently powerful and continuous due to lack of gears. Sexy it is…
5. Rinspeed sQuba
The sQuba is a zero emission, all electric vehicle which uses three electric motors, one for land travel, two for water. Its drives on land powered by its electric rear-wheel drive powertrain, utilizing rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Upon entering water, it floats on surface until the operator floods the interior to submerge it. The vehicle can transport a driver and passenger in its cockpit. The open cockpit design is intended to allow the occupants to escape in case of emergency. Awesomely designed… perfect car for future.
6. Casey Putsch( Batman Replica)
The batmobile is the sexiest car ever thought of in fiction. Putsch, a 29-year old car racer used a Boeing engine used in Navy helicopters. He mounted it on a custom monocoque chassis. Rather than using the engine for straight propulsion like a fighter jet, Putsch’s batmobile creates a thrust with a separate front turbine, the force of which spins a second turbine that’s connected to the drivetrain. The planetary gears slows the turbines’ 40,000 rpm to a more manageable 7,000 rpm driveshaft redline. Shifting is done with a modified automatic four-speed sequential gearbox. The batmobile even has a reverse.
7.Metromorph
The Metromorph concept car from designer Roman Mistiuk solves several sustainable transportation problems all at once in a really creative way. This unique concept car doubles as an elevator to quickly transport you from the street to your high rise apartment, but it also parks itself to double as your balcony when it gets there. That wall climbing function takes the car off the street, clears up the issue of limited urban parking, and creates an extra efficient living space as well. Now you don’t have to schlep groceries on the subway, or even drag them from your car to your apartment.
8. eRinGo EV
The eRinGo EV, dreamed up by Tehran-based CG artist Mohammad Ghezel, features a passenger compartment in the middle of a giant wheel hub. An electric motor drives three rings that encompass the vehicle, while a gyroscope and two side wheels keep it upright even on sharp corners. The Iranian designer has imagined a wild drum-shaped electric vehicle with two steering wheels, proving that freedom of automobile design is alive and well around the globe. Fanciful? Sure.
Inventors around the world have been trying to combine the ease and utility of driving with a three-dimensional freedom of flying since the beginning of the 20th century. The ‘flying car’ has become a pop icon of the dream that never quite comes true it is designed to fit in a single car garage, be safely driven on the highway, and be flown in and out of general aviation airports.
10. P-Eco
The P-Eco is an electric vehicle to save your precious time as well as environment in standard city roads. Ideal for intercity commutation, the electric car integrates four piezoelectric devices on the front and rear of the driver’s seat. Powered by an electric engine, the compact car features multiple chords that vibrate at a high frequency to produce electric engine, as soon as the vehicle sets in motion, to charge its battery which increases the mileage (per battery charge) of the vehicle by a fair margin.
