Fashion for work

Dressing up every day to work should be one of the easiest things. After all we do it every day or at least every weekday.  Nevertheless it is quite a task for women if they do not have the right idea on what to wear to be fashion forward yet appropriate for work.  That is the key. You need to look good and feel good but the dress must be decent and good enough for the work place. Striking the right balance between the two can be tough for some women. Here we have a few tips to assist you.FASION

  1. Wear comfortable clothes

Wear clothes that you know you can feel comfortable all day in. Remember that you spend around 8 to 10 hours in the work place and you need to still feel comfortable in your clothing. It is not a party that you can leave in an hour so try to avoid choices that can make you uncomfortable in a few hours like too tight pants or stuffy top.

  1. Always look clean and neat

It is very important that you look clean and well groomed when you dress up especially in the workplace. No crumpled up and wrinkled clothes. Make sure your dress is always properly ironed and well cut. It is very important that you do not look shabby in the workplace.

  1. Dress according to your industry standards

It is significant that you have your own belief and choices in fashion selections but in a work place it is always better to stick to their standards of dressing. If you are employed in a conservative organization for instance then it is better not to choose outfits that might offend the sensibilities of the company. It is imperative that you know what is appropriate and what is not. Blend in with your collogues and do not try to look different for wrong reasons. You can be comfortable and still be conservative.FASHION

  1. Avoid chunky clothes and accessories

In a workplace there is nothing more embarrassing than the sound from chunky jewelry or a skirt which has bells in it. SO avoid all clothing and accessories that tend to make a noise.

  1. Always wear sensible shoes

It is better to wear nice looking sensible shoes to work than high heeled ones unless you are really comfortable in heels. Wear high heeled shoes only if you are confident that you will be able to manage in them all day. Make sure your shoes do not make a noise while you are walking in them.

  1. Accessories matter a lot

Wear the right amount of jewelry like a small earing or a bracelet. Try to avoid dangling earrings that act as distractions. Also avoid too many bangles or an attention diverting necklace. Always carry a good bag or a purse to work. You can put in a small amount of lipstick or gloss and a powder in it to freshen up during the break. It is better to carry wet tissues also to freshen up during break.
